    It is actually working but it has too many bugs, for example instead of subtitles it's written name of the file

    Not only a cash grab from Deck nine. But an awful and unnecessary "remaster" The original Life Is Strange is an incredible story very well told. All Deck Nine have done since is destroy all of DONTNODs hard work, with bad sequels and this terrible butchering of the original game. Bad graphics, bad lighting and bugs galore. Do yourself a favour and play the original DONTNOD version.

    it needs to be patched for bugs glitches and better performance...the animations and hair does look better but please patch the game.

    It needs a few patches to fix some bugs and glitches, overall the remastered models, facial expression and textures, was done amazingly from Deck Nine, always nice to revisit Arcadia Bay.

    This is absolutely a really bad remaster.
    Got the platinum trophies for the original LIS, LIS BS, LIS2 and LIS TC (both PS4 & PS5 version).
    Played on PS5, just finished the first episode. 1. The edge of the screen keeps glitching. 2. The subtitle occasionally shows program code instead of the actual sentence. 3. The Simplified Chinese font is not correct. 4. The lighting is weird at    This is absolutely a really bad remaster.

    The frame rate is still low and I don't even count this as a problem since it is expected.
    Buying this game is a disrespect to those developers who actually make good games (remaster/remake) with heart.    … Expand

    In my opinion this remastered collection it's perfect and well done. It's hard nowadays to remaster old games and Deck Nine did a great job! Don't know why is DONTNOD included on this profile page if they doesn't work anymore with Square Enix and with Life is Strange. An really true Life is Strange fan doesn't care about the graphics but only with the story. Some people are expecting aIn my opinion this remastered collection it's perfect and well done.     Life is Strange and Before The Storm are excellent episodic adventures, but this bundle is riddled with visual and audio bugs that make it a hard sell. There is no shame in skipping this collection.

    For the most part it looks better than the original version, but until the bugs are fixed (even now I’m still getting graphical glitches) it’s just not worth buying yet. Add a few points after about March, which is probably when they should’ve released it.

    Life is Strange is personally one of my favorite games. This remaster still has the main core of the story, but in it's current state, I would say it is too buggy to even think about buying. Pretty much the only improvement from the original is that it is a little less ugly. From speaking with other LIS fans, this was not even a problem for people. In almost every section of every chapter,Life is Strange is personally one of my favorite games. In almost every section of every chapter, there is some sort of bug that will distract you from playing. So far, the most persistent one for me has been a subtitle bug where it only shows the name of the subtitle file instead of the contents of it. It started at the beginning of chapter 2 and did not go away for the entire length of the game. I have no idea how this got past the development team. I have seen numerous other players with this exact issue. Other players have also had an issue with the game crashing on them. On top of that, there is also weird audio glitches, character models just going crazy, glitches with the sides of the screen, lighting glitches. There has just been so many glitches I stopped writing them down. Pretty much all of these glitches happened to me within about a half hour of starting the game. It also has performance issues. I bought this for the PS4, and I often get 15 FPS. As much as I love D9 and DONTNOD, this remaster is a shameless cash grab. It is possible that this was pushed to be released as soon as possible by Square Enix, but it does not excuse the poor quality of this game. Life is Strange is still Life is Strange, but I would have rather spent $10 on the old version instead of this overpriced and broken "remaster". Please make better decisions than me and do not preorder games, especially remasters. I am currently trying to get a refund, but there is not much I can do. **** Square Enix for scamming me out of $40.… Expand

    Même jeux mais en remastered ce qui fait vraiment du bien surtout pour les animation facial et le jeux un peux moins cartoon que l'original du monde peuvent aimer d'autres non je trouve que ça change pas le jeux sinon il y a quel que bug au lancement mais reste une Masterclass!!!!

    It was unnecessary to begin with, and somehow the execution was worse. You’re ten times more likely to find bugs in this version of the game, wether it’s patched later or not, it’s disrespectful to even release it in this state.

    Love this game but Holy **** this is a horrible remaster. I think the original game runs better in every way, for this new one I've run into several minor glitches. This is a UE game, how is it even POSSIBLE that it runs this badly? Plus it doesn't look any better, using a 4k upscaler does not make it a remaster. Very disappointed in dontnod for this release & I will always be cautiousLove this game but Holy **** this is a horrible remaster.     First off I'm a HUGE LIS fan, its def one of my top 5 favorite games of all time some let's get some positives out there. The animations look really crisp compared to the original game from 2015. Some of the character models like Rachel Amber looks really good and the environments/textures are great. Now    "Life is Strange Remastered Collection" only not really better then the original..

Some of the character models like Rachel Amber looks really good and the environments/textures are great. Now for the negatives. Something was lost in this remaster of the original LIS, the emotions that Max and Chloe displayed in scenes are completely different than what it looked like in the original game and it looks worse. When Decknine remastered the models they stripped away art style that i think DontNod envisioned for the characters. The lighting effects that were once soft and artistic is now way too dark. Also I dont know why Metacritic says DontNod is the developer, Decknine did the remaster.

    Theres also a ton of bugs that's just sad. Currently the game has subtitle audio issues, the game crashes constantly, BTS has some of the most hilarious bugs where all the characters are glowing like they're about to explode like a dying star. It never should have been rushed out like this by Square Enix. Its a 2 outta 10 for me, stick to the original games DontNod and DeckNine made years ago.    … Expand

    I will always score the first released version of the game, Patching is simply unacceptable. Now that being said. LIS Remaster improved faced animations, often it means, there is some animation added where it was not before, or edited to match the dialog better. There is some strange experimenting with lighting and textures, but that is where the "remastering" ends. It was not clicked together with the old version of the game, camera is often blurring in attempt hide these problems where ever you go in this very small, linear world.

    The price of the product is honestly a crime, there was barely work done, testing is something square enix doesn't seem to understand and the delay was most likely because they haven't really worked on this as earlier title released was main priority. I feel bad for those who preordered this game with the True Colors release. I know I am.

    Now I am going to delete this, hopefully refund and play the original old game, just to feel bit better about this. 3/10 just because I still have feelings for the game and it's amazing soundtrack.    … Expand

    Both games are sold in the story, played both games at least 2. Wish they didn't have so many performance issues.

    With strange and glaring bugs, Life is Strange Remastered Collection quickly loses the good name of the series. But even without bugs, strange choices have been made that make this fantastic game just a bit worse.
