Having completed all previous Lego games since the new start in Lego Star Wars, I have to say that Lego The Incrdibles is the worst of them all (along with Lego Ninjago and Lego The Movie games). There is not much actual game play, not many puzzles. You have to pick up Incredible Bricks (which are scattered all over the place to simply pick up, no mini puzzle). These bricks allows you to do a Family Build which in most cases adds a small puzzle to access a Red Brick. Once the Red Brick has been collected, it can immediately be activated (no stud cost for buying it!). Studs are used to buy characters, but since you quickly find Score x2 and above, I was never unable to buy due to lack of studs.
The gold bricks are also mostly free to simply pick up in the street. It is all a matter of getting a flying character and a diving character to complete +90% of this game. I was hoping this game would be easier to navigate though than Ninjago. It is! It feels more or less like watching the movie, only four times as expensive.
    Not recommended at full price.

As a self-proclaimed "Lego game connoisseur", I can safely say Lego The Incredibles ranks close to the bottom of the barrel. This game is exactly the same as other Lego games. Legos are used in games as an excuse for developers to be lazy and not put hard work in lip syncing, animations, physics, and detail. There is no multiplayer. So once you finish the campaign, there is no reason to play this game again. $60 for a 6 hour campaign with no replay value is a cashgrab. I recommend you only buy this game if it is $5 or cheaper.

Lootboxes do not belong in a kids game! No microtransactions thank goodness.
The game itself is an average lego game. I'd give it a 7 if it wasn't for having gambling mechanics.

Travelers Tales has finally done it! They have made the Lego games so much that the old fun formula has gotten stale. I have played damn near every Lego game to come out, and they all have a charm to them that can only be captured in the Lego games. Their version of The Incredibles actually does the opposite. Not only is it less charming and funny than what Pixar did, but you start to go into this Lego autopilot. Two days later you beat the game, and realize that it wasn't an amazing weekend but more of a waste of a weekend. Regardless there are some new things so I guess here we go?

The story mode is only 6 hours long, but they had only two movies to go off of (unlike their usual 3 that they tackle). I should say this if you haven't seen The Incredibles 2 then don't play this game. It will start with possibly spoiling the movie. I honestly don't know I decided to play the Lego game vs just seeing the movie. The game is for kids and is based off movies for kids. I felt the need to write that because the game chooses to play down some...all of the death scenes that are in the movies. So the end kind of brutal scene with Syndrome from the first movie he is killed off. Not in this he isn't they show that he just gives up oh well. This has to be a weird complaint for me, but it seems like that would annoy anyone especially ones who are fans of the movie. If I was a kid playing this and got to that scene I would be upset, because it would be talking down to me. My point is Pixar makes movies for kids, but treats them as growing people. Travelers Tales seems like they are making games for kids, but doing so under the supervision of PBS or some **** This isn't the first time they have dumbed down the movies they were covering.

The game for the most part plays like a Lego game would. The characters are all fairly unique and for the most part get equal play time. Elastic Girl has probably the most, and before you think of it no her booty isn't thiccc she is a rather blocky woman in the game. The levels never feel like filler levels unlike some of the previous Lego games had (Lego Force Awakens). So it flowed rather nice. They had this build mechanic that made it so you had to build a thing with multiple characters. It honestly was just jam on the O button, but they made it seemed neat. There isn't much to this game to want to do after the story. You can stop random crimes, but Christ I couldn't see a seven year old having fun doing that.

Overall the game isn't terrible I just don't think it needs to exist. They lost the charm Pixar had with the humor and tones that it ended up just being too childish. The gameplay is Lego, but unlike Lego Avengers that made me want to watch the Avengers; I just wanted this game to be over. Even if you have kids I don't see them having a blast with this I think they would prefer one of the other like 20 Lego games. I give this a strong PASS.

    Sadly just another LEGO game
LEGO The Incredibles is based off of both The Incridibles and the Incredibles 2.. Understandably they deliver the stories in a reverse order.. Understandably they deliver the stories in a reverse order..
The game is set in a tiny open world full of crime to fight, characters to unlock including characters from other pixar movies and sidequests.. plenty to keep you busy…
Though if you prefer to just stick to the story this game will take you a little less than 6 hours to complete..
The first half of the game and the much better half of the game is based on the incredibles 2
This story is focused more on elestagirl as shes trying to take down screen slaver and saved the brainwashed heroes…
There are plenty of new a great characters introduced here… tons of personality..
in your typical lego game fashion this is a lot of going into missions with 2 characters, switching back and forth using your different abilities to throw switches, and using eachother to progress.. and of course this game can be played coop..
I loved the pacing of the first half of this game..
its very linear and straight forward..
combat doesn’t drag on forever.. youre not stuck in an area for too long..
theres so much fun to be had in this campaign..
and then the second half of this game you relive the story of the first incredibles, the focus here is much more on mr incredible, his struggle between being a hero and a good father and of course taking down syndrome..
I do love the level design in this campaign, tons of color and unique places, some really cool moments sprinkled in here as well…
but the pacing is just awful here..
its constantly do a little platforming and deal with a slug fest of switching between characters collecting special blocks to build an item rinse and repeat until credits roll…
these moments are in the first half as well… but collecting the pieces in a linear fashion is just so much more fun to me than being throne in a giant room where youre constantly switching back and forth..
the pacing really comes to a crawl and drags down what otherwise is one of the more fun lego games
I feel like fans of the incredibles will enjoy this game and that fans of lego games will enjoy getting more legos..
if youre not a fan of either of these things, this game wont change your mind..
    I give LEGO The Incredibles
    a 6/10

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I like this game but some other LEGO video games I have played are better than this one. I loved all of the characters in the game and especially loved the other Pixar characters that were in the game like Dory and Flik also I loved the Pixar cameos like RC the car from Toy Story in the Parrs new home by the tv. I loved how much the level were like the movies. I loved the free roaming area. This game is enjoyable but it is to easy at times. With all of that said Lego The Incredibles is one of my top 5 favorite Lego video games and one of my top 10 favorite video games of all time. Expand

This game was really fun to play with my kids. The Incredibles is one of my favorite Pixar franchises and I think the game does a great job telling the story from both movies that is easy to understand for kids.

If you've played one Lego game you've played them all in my opinion. There is good humour, smooth gameplay and relatively satisfying combat with very few glitches I experienced on my way to 100%. I can't see young children taking the time to get 100% mainly due to the long loading screens.
I've capped my review at four due to the blind bags and lack of innovation to the franchise. I didn't expect innovation but the games of chance really put me off the franchise.
Some of the more satisfying presentation moments from previous games were missing and overall the game felt a little rushed.

Buggy, completely broken in places, irritating to try and complete, clearly never playtested. Do not buy under any circumstances.

Pretty standard fare for anything made by TT

Lego

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

LEGO The Incredibles is satisfying, although I can’t say that it’s as good as some of the other games that came from the same developers. In any case, the price difference might be small enough to be subjective. If you love the Incredibles and Lego, then getting this game is a no-brainer.
