Jun 26, 2021Up there on my game regrets top 10 with things like 2008's Turok. A game that hasn't aged well isn't really helped by the slight polish to the background graphics and it could really have done with some modernisation to the UI. A lazy nostalgia money grab.

Aug 7, 2021The Legend Of Mana game was ported to almost all platforms except Xbox one,I don't understand why? what kind of racism is this? why wasn't such a great game ported to Xbox one? why are all Japanese publishers so shy away from this console with their games? and most importantly, this game was ported everywhere except for Xbox one, IT's a SHAME

Jun 27, 2021Loved this game when it first came out, and love it now. The backgrounds and music are perfect. I love the battle system, crafting and monster raising. The sprites are really the biggest issue and for me personally, it doesn't bother me that much, it's just slightly jarring with the beautiful background.

Sep 15, 2021Classic JRPG fun with a unique world-construction feature; suffers from imprecise controls and an absent main plot.

CD-ActionSep 1, 2021The remaster of Legend of Mana turned out to be too conservative. It improves the backgrounds (they’re beautiful!), the save system and the music, but the game’s biggest problems (poor combat system and botched storytelling) remained and will bother you more than they did decades ago. This new version might be enough for the fans of the original Legend of Mana, but I doubt it will appeal to anyone else. [09/2021, p.53]

PLAYJul 28, 2021A collection of small quests, no story is given the attention it deserves, the one glaring fault of a beautiful game with a clear desire to innovate. [Issue#4, p.80]
