    Don’t Doge this one forever
    Knockout city is a competitive 3v3 or 1v1 dodgeball game, and first things first.. I love how much customizable options you have for a competitive hero game.. you can craft your own and unlock new cosmetics as you play.. it isn’t super detailed, but the amount of choices is appreciated.. Where the game is lacking though is in its actually    Knockout City

    Where the game is lacking though is in its actually gameplay content..
    I love knockout city.. I am a sucker for dodgeball games.. at first you hve a typical 3v3 mode, youre put into a random map, and youre given a random special ball each time,,, annnd it’s the first team to score 10 knockouts 2 times wins, you run, automatically grab a ball, and youre off, holding down the trigger to target and smack your opponent to knock them out, but it isn’t all that simple.. there is a bit of skill and strategy to be had here as youre able to tackle eachother and knock the ball out of their hands, or make them defenseless for your teammate to hit them, as you are bale to catch a ball and lob it back.. timing this right can make for really great moments, I was having an absolute blast working my way up to rank 5 and unlock the other 3 modes, a 3 v 3 party mode where every ball is a special ball, a 1 vs 1 mode with a circle closing in on you where there are no special alls, and a kill confirmed type 3v3 where you grab diamonds of fallen opponents to tiher score for your team and stop the other team from scoring…
    Kncokout Citys biggest downfall though is that it has a free to play mentality without being free to play..
    Theyre expected to add more content with as seasons go on, but the 5 maps we get now get boring fairly quickly… I was over this game after about maybe only 3 hours of play time…
    on top of that I feel like we need at least a 5 v 5 in a larger world, with more ball drops… too often I found myself just searching for a ball to go help out my teammates…
    Overall I had a really great time with knockout city, this game can be a blast..
    I would jsu hold off for future seasons when this game gets more padded out…

    You have to play with cross play disabled otherwise you will only run into pc hackers that will catch and throw with impossible reaction times. Try playing cross play and then disabling on console to test this out. Cross play with PC needs to be impossible with console player due to all the PC hackers.     Well thought out levels and a surprising amount of depth, strategy and tactics for such a simple dodgeball concept. Needs more levels but overall super fun.

    yeah... no. Mechanically the games fine..but dodgeball? Like I am not spending hours playing virtual dodgeball just to be good at a juvenile game. Silly concept, wont make a dent going up against so many live service games. Can you imagine someone saying want to hop into knockout city tonight?

    its an ok game severely lacks content but its also got no interest from the community, lack of a player base will kill this game, it needs more than 3v3. I think EA shouldve based it on atleast 6v6 would of been awesome and youd less likely get steam rolled with randoms. way less likely to run into a team of 6 friends on the enemy team than how it is now with 3 lol. as a person in theirits an ok game severely lacks content but its also got no interest from the community, lack of a player base will kill this game, it needs more than 3v3.     I found knockout city to be pretty enjoyable at the start but it becomes a bit fidgity and frustrating after a while. The gameplay is okay, but it could have been a lot better if there was no lock-on/auto-aim, but that you actually need to show some skill in aiming. Now if you throw a ball at the moment someone is dodging you will still hit that person which seems weird. Perhaps increase the movement speed a bit as it feels to be a bit floaty and it doesn't feel your character gains much momentum.

    Knockout City it's a game full of personality and let you make a lot of fun. I never experienced something like this. So the high score is mainly for this. It lacks a bit of some map, but I'm confident that EA will deliver new contents very soon.

    The maps, gameplay, and characterization all make this a "you-don't-wanna-miss-this" title on the PS4. Dodgeball has never been more fun in a videogame. Grab a couple friends and squad up for some electric gameplay that'll keep you busy for hours.

    I never really knew what to make of this game before; especially as I declined the beta invite; but now that the game has been officially released; I can now say that it's not a complete mess like I was worried about it being, but it's also not something I would buy right now given the server issues and lag I experienced in my time with the game. Though the art style is admittedly pretty neat aesthetically, it looks and plays like a game that came out in the PS2/Gamecube/OG Xbox era. It's not the worst game ever, but I don't plan on playing it more until updates are released to deal with bugs and PVP balance; and I recommend others do the same if they're on the fence.… Expand

    This game is so good and addicting to play. There seems to be alot potential in this game with content coming out in seasons and season 1 is here and there is loads to play with. I whole heartedly reccomend u buy this game and try out the free trial before it ends on the 31st of may 2021.

    This is high-octane multiplayer dodgeball game you've been waiting for! Each map has it's own identity, and Knockout City has deep strategic gameplay with a very simple ruleset. The addition of being able to turn into a ball yourself for an instant knockout if you're thrown towards the enemy player is a really nice touch and adds that extra layer of variability. Fun maps, addictingThis is high-octane multiplayer dodgeball game you've been waiting for! Each map has it's own identity, and Knockout City has deep strategic gameplay with a very simple ruleset. The addition of being able to turn into a ball yourself for an instant knockout if you're thrown towards the enemy player is a really nice touch and adds that extra layer of variability. Fun maps, addicting gameplay, robust character customization, and heap of game modes means you won't be uninstalling this game anytime soon!

    Free Game until you reach rank 25, Very competitive Game with weekly content, I would recommend it to everyone that likes team deathmatch games

    Such a fun underated game with absolutely loads of potential. How games like fortnite continue to get popularity while this game goes under the radar blows my mind.

    As a dodgeball-deathmatch hybrid, Knockout City boasts one of the most creative and innovative premises that I have dreamed about for years. While it is multiplayer only, and the cosmetics and in-game store are a bit ridiculous, I received the game for free from Playstation Plus, so I didn't experience buyer's remorse from that.
    What I can say is that there is a surprising amount of depth    As a dodgeball-deathmatch hybrid, Knockout City boasts one of the most creative and innovative premises that I have dreamed about for years. While it is multiplayer only, and the cosmetics and in-game store are a bit ridiculous, I received the game for free from Playstation Plus, so I didn't experience buyer's remorse from that.
    What I can say is that there is a surprising amount of depth here: you can add spin to the dodgeballs, lob them, throw your partner, catch, pass, and coordinate some extremely satisfying gameplay. Overall, there is a lot of fun to be had here. I can safely recommend this to casuals and hardcore gamers alike.

    O jogo é divertido e desafiador, porém, os servidores são EXTREMAMENTE VAZIOS. Mesmo vindo de graça na Plus o jogo é quase injogável, o tempo que você passa esperando por uma partida é absurdo

    A wicked, Rocket League-inspired fiesta that cleverly translates dodgeball into a fast-paced multiplayer game. With the variety of balls (and player’s ability to become one!), throwing, catching, knocking each other out, and avoiding city traffic, it’s pure fun. However, to enjoy the game to the fullest, be sure to gather a proper team instead of playing with randoms. [08/2021, p.38]
