A good, but not great game which makes some modest improvements to the first one on PC. Hopefully this will be addressed in some future expansion? I've yet to be able to drum up a VS game though - every time I try it just spins trying to find a match (and the worst part is at that point there is no way to back out of the match-finding screen short of restarting the game!). Is nobody on PS4 playing this mode? Expand

Think Zombie mode in CoD with much bigger waves, and a lot more variety. You have a perk system fr each class but even if you choose the gunslinger class, you can still get weapons from other classes in the trader, youre not locked in. You have so many options, and the heavy metal soundtrack when playing is glorious, well worth the buy Expand

While good (certainly fantastic to everyone who know exactly what to expect), it lack L4D tention, atmosphere, slow paced exploration moments, and most important, its tactical yet simple gameplay. All in all, in particular when it comes to pacing, i would compare it to CoD zombie modes, which i'm not a fan of.

Like i said, Killing Floor 2 is still a good game. The controls are responsive, the visuals great, the framerate is surprisingly stable (at least on PS4 Pro) and the amount of enemies and gore on screen provide many epic moments. If it had more maps, modes and the the ability to play singleplayer with bots, i would give KF2 a higher score.

    It's good, but not great.

I cant be bothered playing longer to unlock more weapons and classes because I don't see a point in the game. Guns are overpriced and it takes hours before you can unlock more classes. The idea of spending time doing the same thing over and over is unappealing.

There are so many better games to play currently so Killing Floor 2 is pointless.

The guy at Gamestop told me this was a 3rd person action game with a story mode. Instead I'm sold a 1st person co-op game that needs to be played online. I was taken for a sucker as this is by far the absolute worst game I have ever played in my life. I played less than 15 minutes and wish I could have those minutes back. This game SUCKS!!!

When you run, you don't run, you just jog. The jump is useless because you can't jump high enough like for example you can't jump over a ledge. There are not many variations of the enemy like there's only 9 enemy types, if you don't count the bosses, which there are only 2. When you play alone, it gets VERY repetive because there are only 2 gamemodes, and the second one is only available in online, so you´re forced to play survival ALL THE TIME. And speaking of online, the matchmaking is **** BROKEN. You'll have to wait FOREVER to play a match. And this game is basically a Left 4 Dead game with better graphics

The game does operate a bit better on the PS4 Pro with slight improvements to graphics, color pallets, and textures. Not too many bugs, and glitches were noticed. At least, not any that were truly game breaking, or at all frustrating.

    The list:
    1. Weapon locking - Inability to swap weapons
    2.Enemies becoming stuck occasionally
    3. Perk level is reset temporarily
    4. Minor clipping issues
    5. Environmental rubber banding on certain maps

This list is matched with the current state of the game at the time of this writing, and shall be updated/ edited for future patches.
Overall, KF2 is a properly optimized FPS that uses Unreal to near full potential.

Maybe it gets better, but so far every wave I've played beyond the training levels has ended the same way - get backed into a corner by a horde of zeds, try everything possible to get out of said corner, then die. Clips are too small to shoot your way out, jumping doesn't work, grenades damage you just as much as the zeds, and you can melee bash maybe 1 or 2 zeds before you die. If you get cornered you might as well give up because there is no escape.

There's also no enemy radar, so you have no way of telling how many zeds are around you or where they're coming from.

When you die (and you will. A LOT) nothing you purchased respawns with you. You basically start from scratch with the crappy gear they give you. I used all of the in-game currency I earned from completing the training levels to buy the most powerful (and expensive) weapon that was available. I got to use it for maybe 30 seconds before I got surrounded and backed into another inescapable corner and died.

The graphics, controls, and maps are all great. Maybe the gameplay gets better too. I understand that there is a learning curve, but I am by no means a noob when it comes to 1st person shooters. After repeatedly getting backed into inescapable corners I have no interest in exploring this game any further.

Please take note that I play on Asia server and have no problem with matchmaking.

However, the serious problem of this game is the repetitiveness, which happens very fast. The game need more enemy types and weapons. Moreover, the difficulty is too brutal even on lowest setting (normal). For someone who is not familiar with FPS, beating this game is nearly impossible without a lot of practices.

I generously give the game 8/10, although it might be around 7-7.5/10 but since the devs are still trying to improve the game. That is good thing. Killing floor 2 has a huge potential to become much greater game. It needs more content, more bosses and more weapons (x2 of every classes) .There should be new enemies and new bosses when you increase difficulty. Lastly, please have easy mode for those who are terrible with FPS, in order to encourage them to improve their skill. Right now this game is not friendly to casual gamers . That is all I want to say.
