    Insurgency is really fun to play and has a lot of tension. House to house, door to door, it’s a different feeling from other games in ps4. The only problems are two bugs that I encountered: the audio problems and allied skins from the other faction. I only got a crash twice, but users are reporting this, too.

    I'd say this is an 8 for most people but it's a 9 for me. I love the realistic sound of the the, the actual feel and gunplay is the best of any shooter, I think the amount of bullets to kill is perfect, there's LOTS and LOTS of guns with tons of accessories, IR laser lights ftw, runs great as of current patch on PS4 pro, looks great, loads of maps, a great few classic counterstrike modesI'd say this is an 8 for most people but it's a 9 for me.     Yeah this was originally a hl2 that was free. Looked the same, okayed the same, a more serious gunplay but not TOO serious. If cod was a 5 of 1o ok the seriousness scale I'd give this a 7.5 maybe an 8. It's not too arcadey which I like but it's JUST a notch or two under too hard or not fun. Definitely worth 4o if you want to support them, they have new content coming, or if you're a shooter fan in need of something new. A full fledged MP shooter with tons of guns maps accessories yes please. If it's for sale for like 20 you'd be missing out big-time on a late cycle release.    … Expand

    The only shooter of its type on PlayStation.
    As a PVP game this is pretty good, but as a co-op game that a bunch of friends of different skill levels can jump into and play together this game is damn near perfect.
    It had a bunch of crashing issues on launch but those are all gone now and the game runs great now. Where this game really shines as a game all about teamwork that requires good    The only shooter of its type on PlayStation.

    If you are not the best at shooting then be the guy that carries all the grenades and flash bangs for cleaning rooms.
    If you are a bit slower then sit on a hill with a sniper rifle and provide overwatch and communication.
    If you are a bad shot then equip a sub machine gun and clear rooms.

    Here I feel that every part of the weapon is important. Great atmosphere, great sounds, wery realistic. Every bullet hurts. Very great feelin from killin and shootin. Little patch and update on ps5 and is clear 10/10.

    I am blown away at how much fun this game is the details in the maps are insane, The gun mechanics are perfect the whole vibe of the game is perfect, I really get this old school socom vibe to the game, I really hope the team that makes this game doesn’t stray away from what makes this game so perfect,

    I give it a 8/10 console been missing a tactical shooter quite some time now. It would have scored a lot higher if it wasn't for the bugs. There's a bug when trying to plant the IED/C4 I'm currently playing on PS5 the game crash at least once a day sometimes you lose your sound when ADS

I will raise my score if the game get’s fixed up. Also we need Free Included PS5 Enhancement Upgrade. It’s very blurry since the Devs lowered the Res from 4K to 1080p in their most recent update.

    Seriously and urgently needs performance enhancements, it is a horrible 30fps which does not remain consistent at all and it does not offer the good experience that this game is due to how severe that is.     Terrible optimisation, game is not bad but crushs/bugs made impossible to play, don’t buy this game. It’s broke on ps4/ps5.

    The current state of this game is basically unplayable. Each time I try to simply load into the match it crashes instantly. Fps is unstable even in main menu and this is on ps4 pro. When cyberpunk was removed from ps store for “unacceptable quality” it was still launching and you could play it even though all its bugs.     Console players finally get their tactical shooter after years of having nothing on the market. Despite a few bugs which will be ironed out, Insurgency Sandstorm is an outstanding shooter that runs smooth as butter with some super satisfying gameplay. Co-op is an absolute blast. The PvP is challenging, but fun.     Ive waited so long for this to come to console! I have it for Xbox Series X (No luck getting a PS5 lol) and it was well worth the wait! As someone who has played over 1000 hours on siege, Trust me when i say that this game is a million times better! Its way more immersive, theirs gore, alot of custimization, very tactical, and it has the most brutally realistic PVP combat. If you are sickIve waited so long for this to come to console! I have it for Xbox Series X (No luck getting a PS5 lol) and it was well worth the wait!     I have never requested a refund on a game in my life. This game was the first. It feels like a $5 game that is buried in the on sale section constantly because of how bad it is. Feels slow and clunky. Makes R6 look like CoD on shipment. Half the time I had no audio for my weapon when firing or reloading. I would hear footsteps from the right only to find out there’s no one there andI have never requested a refund on a game in my life. This game was the first.     I have yet to finish one online game without my PS4 Pro crashing to the Error Report screen. I went into the character editor while in a match, crashed. I was editing a character waiting for the match to begin, crash. I threw a grenade during a game, crash.
    These aren't a "few    I rarely write reviews, but seeing some of the feedback here I wanted to provide another view of the game.

    Overall, this is not a game I would recommend to anyone. With other established FPS games due to come out in the coming months you are better to save your money and not buy this not ready for primetime heap of code.    … Expand

    Game is crashing and having poor performance on PS4, when you can play a full match the gameplay it´s very competitive and unique but PC players with good hardware have a BIG advantage over console players ! FIX YOUR GAME AND OPTIMIZE IT FOR CONSOLES New World Interactive !
    Edit: Now that they fixed the crashing issues i´m changing the rate from 3 to 7 !

    There are so many problems with this game. The game crushes like Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Also, enemies don’t catch bullets half the time. They will simply behave like nothing happened. It does not matter if your aim is dead on accurate. You are using an airsoft gun on this game against enemies who use real guns. That is the background of    I only play hardcore so I will only speak to it.

    3. Enemies are sometimes Ninja. You can never hear anything at times no matter how loud your headset is.
    4. You may die as soon as you see the enemies “medusa”
    5. Enemies do not have to aim at you. You will simply die. It does not matter if enemies see you or not. Their weapon will fire at the sky or at the floor and the bullet will consequently end up coming into your head. 6. Enemies never move like humanbeings.
    7. Hardcore mode is therefore a “sci-fi” mode. It is NEVER a realistic shooter.    … Expand

    For the love of God don't buy this on base ps4! It looks like ps1 game with **** graphics. Runs about 20-30 fps. Absolute **** I was so exited about this game but it doesn't work.

    I can't stand COD and BF with all the perks, loot boxes, XP and skill trees. Insurgency Sandstorm rewards players with skill, nothing else. Every player is equal and is separated only by what they are capable of.    Oh how I have been waiting for this.

    It looks great, sure it could do with a bit of polish and the sound is A-freaking-mazing.
    I hope the community stays active because I'm going to keep playing for as long as I can!

    Great game, but the console version is lacking a lot of things.

    The next time they have a survey be sure to demand to have ISMC added to the game, it is literally the best mod to exist...AND it basically finishes the majority of the things that are highly sought after.

    Because of that fundamental omission I would recommend the PC version over this.

    I think with a massive graphics overhaul and slightly improved systems the game has the potential to be one of the most popular and highly regarded on console. If the devs intend on supporting the game long-term, I have very high hopes. As of right now, I'm not sure how that will all play out, though. The support is relatively spaced out, but it exists as of now which is a good thing. I get the idea that the devs definitely view PC in higher regards than they do console. This alone is fine, but I really hope they don't let that sway them into slowing console support any time soon.    … Expand

    It's a good game like the PC version. If there are a few updates on weapon control, than i would give it a 9/10. Like the realistic shooting and modes.

    If playing on playstation 5 this game is utter trash, you get screen tearing when manteling or frames drop excessively the graphics are ps2 or xbox 360 era at best an the default settings for turning an aiming are over thought an terrible making it difficult to dial in your settings

    eu poderia dar nota 10, pois o jogo é fora da curva,bem real, acostumados com cod e BF sofrem, pois esse game é pura equipe.
    Não dou dez pois a versão de ps4 ainda tem alguns bugs e é um pouco abandonada pelos criadores.
    Super recomendo, porém é um jogo bem mais difícil que qualquer outro do gênero.

    A realistic shooter, that's more than welcome amidst all the fast-paced carnage that saturates the market, courtesy of Call of Duty and Battlefield. Slow, tactical and very much worth playing, whether you're alone or with friends. The graphics are a disappointment though, as is the weirdly inconsistent AI.

    While it may seem like Insurgency: Sandstorm has built-in anchors, it might be the best type of FPS for how it creatively builds on top of hurdles. There are no shortcuts to the objective, but scores of players would prefer it that way. To survive, you must be adept at the FPS genre. To thrive, you must be studious at the briefing and in the field. There’s nothing quite like a successful mission borne of organization and good teamwork. That’s why triumph on the battlefield alongside your fellow squadmates makes all the challenges seem worth the hassle. Hell, sometimes there’s no fun without it.
