Aged poorly. The last arc (last couple of missions) rob the player from the freedom because we are forced to use specific powers. It's also waves after waves of enemies, mini-bosses, and even BOSSES (plural). It's as if the final arc had been developed be a different team.

The story is poor too. Seriously, don't put this game at the top of your backlog. I uninstalled "First Light" and I

Играю с 1996. Много всякого повидал, но это одна из худших игр, в которые я играл.
Повторяющийся геймплей, корявое управление, тупой сюжет, идиотские персонажи. Позорное пятно на репутации плейстейшн.

I was honestly expecting a lot, since I was a fan of the first two chapter of inFamous. But really, this version doesn't come close to the McGrath storyline, gameplay, and overall feeling of grandeur. For me, this was a experimental project from SuckerPunch to test the PS4 graphics, which are amazing at most points except when sometimes it is really dark and even hard to distinguish.I was honestly expecting a lot, since I was a fan of the first two chapter of inFamous. The gameplay is boring. Through the game you end up gaining really boring powers and the actions are only slightly different between the powers so it ends up being really repetitive. So instead of having one super cool power like lighting and improving it, you end up with different boring powers which do the same basically. The boss fights are embarrassingly bad. The game is frustrating to play, since the firing powers are almost the only way to kill the NPCs (melee is super bad). The storyline is short and zero intriguing. I am very disappointed of the game and should not be included on the inFamous series.

This game aged really bad and the game is overall the worst of the saga. The story is not good and the main character feels very distant to the player, and the gameplay got stuck into the ps3.

Writing so bad it promotes exactly what Nate Fox hated.
Something big about the game is how you "free" zones, right? Well, stop to think about it. The DUP is like a mega police for conduits, and they bring out security. They got loads of outposts to stop people and take them, but it mostly works. In Infamous 1 the game basically starts with a gang gunning people and you have to stop them.

There aren't really gangs. Sure, there are the dealers and those mafia guys, but there isn't really anyone like the gangs in Infamous 1, or the ice conduits in Infamous 2. The city is sealed tight, sure, but it is probably safer than real Seattle. Give it a year and after "freeing" a zone I bet there are double the number of dealers and mafias. The normal policeman in-game are as tough as wet cardboard.
If the player chooses to be good . . . He is doing good. If Delsin could be a part of the DUP everyone would love them and be more cooperative. They would just need to be more nice to people and people would kiss the ground where they walk for healing sick people and crushing crime.
And, if the player chooses to act evil, it just shows WHY the DUP was there to begin with - showing that they should have been even tougher. It shows why people should support the DUP and enlist to to stop those mass murder loonies.
Graphics are nice, music is Ok, combat is nice, but the story is so dumb and bad written that the game makes me feel like fighting WITH the DUP than AGAINST the DUP. Also, **** Reggie. He is a ****

Infamous represents all that is wrong with the current AAA videogame model: it's epic, but superfluous; its main game mechanics are shallow and boring; its plot is full of Hollywood clichés and, in the end, it feels more like a marketing tool than a real effort to provide gamers with something meaningful and with value. inFamous Second Son is a tech demo for the PS4. I can hardly think of this game as a labour of love from the developers. It just feels like some out of touch executive was the main force behind it all.

Graphics-wise, it's very bland. There's facial mo-cap like in L.A. Noir, and some skills are flashy and all. But the city is very bland and you see the same enemies and citizens all over.

There's no re-playability. The story is filled with plot holes, and is just very uninteresting and uninspired.
Protagonist is a whiny little stereotypical teenager that you can't connect with on any sort of level.
Side missions are a chore. Choices in this game are a complete joke - 'evil' choices make no sense.
The worst part is you can't skip the story since it's tied to how the game loads (no blank loading screen just playing the game). To be honest, having to sit through it again - I'd rather just have a loading screen.

Combat can be a bit interesting, but definitely not a game seller - especially when it's so un-challenging.

The 'Red Faction: Guerrilla' progression in the game is dated and feels forced on you.

The gimmicky graffiti sections just seem to add to your distaste with Delsin. I bet no one thought it was a good idea except for that executive producer that read in some 90s magazine that kids like graffiti. On that note - I'm surprised this game doesn't have skateboards.

Honestly, if you get this game for free with your console - then who cares right?
But this isn't worth your money. Don't be fooled by other reviews. I have no idea who are these 2000 people that thought this warranted a high score...

There isn't a good villain and the establishment created isn't scary enough for you to feel that you have to fight against. Another serious flaw is that you're jumping here and there and sometimes there's no reaction of the passers by to get to the point that I exploded the ground close to some passers and them didn't even stop drinking their coffee. Like infamous 2. We saw some guys strolling around while monsters were wrecking the **** out of the city. This is just ridiculously stupid. Expand

This game starts off well, visually impressing you and the way it is made gives you hope that Sony has put up a good exclusive for once, but then the the limitations and repetitiveness push over you, meatslapping your face with anger until it burns and gives you skin damage. Sony failed again to deliver greatness. All the obese gamers won't last long to finally experience something decent enough.

It'll get lower marks from gamers like me - gamers who cant stand being made hostage to cutscenes you cant skip (replayability would suck to have to sit at the mercy of the forgettable dialogue but even first time playthrough was painful having sit through these scenes - and my gaming time is limited as it is).... characters you'll find wanky (try-hard skater bro down with the system yo lead character isn't inspiring) and yet surprisingly empty cliche'd personalities throughout... and gameplay mechanics I found felt they lacked punch and weight, simplified game mechanics in general which can work when other elements hold it together. In Infamous Second Son I found myself rolling my eyes, not caring, going through the motions..

If the concerns above would irritate you, this game wont hold your attention and wont get better as the game progresses. You'll be sighing and thinking you could be spending your time doing something better with your life.. never a good thing if a game does that to you from the start...
