David Cage is the most hit and miss writer/director I know. His first game, Indigo Prophecy, was great in the first half, but abysmal in the second half, his following project, Heavy Rain, was mostly excellent. And then Beyond: Two Souls was terrible too. And his next game, Detroit, is looking good, but you never know with old Dave. Anyway, as I have already mentioned, the first half ofDavid Cage is the most hit and miss writer/director I know. And his next game, Detroit, is looking good, but you never know with old Dave. Anyway, as I have already mentioned, the first half of Indigo is great, a real gritty crime drama. However, the second half of the game falls on it's face. Terrible sub-plots, bad writing, and laughable action scenes. But, the "remaster" that this game calls itself is a blatant lie, because this game is NOT a true remaster. Not even close. Compared to the 2005 original, it looks slightly, just slightly better. Whoever developed this remaster better have a very good reason for not being able to remaster a 2005 game to decent graphics. Otherwise they rightfully deserve a hard kick in the pants for being so lazy. Anyhow, this remastered version of the classic Indigo Prophecy is (half) a great game at heart, but this is definitely not how you should ever remaster a game. Expand

    Worst PS2 Port ever!
I am a big fan of this game, but this version is not playable.
QTE don't work, FPS in action scenes looks like a joke.
PC version - one for all time.

Wow, like other ps2ps4 games, this game looks great, remastered up to 1080p. The psblog post about this title was right on it. Much better looking than on my ps2 lol! Color me impressed.

Wish there was added content, but it's just an emulation so I understand!

This is not a remaster of the original, just a lazy PS2 port.

Game and Story is great, but 5/10 for not upgrading the visuals

Im sure the remastered PC version had better graphics

Pretty good for the most part. I actually really enjoyed how the QTEs worked in this game. It was fun and added an actual sense of difficulty to the game. The story was decent for most of the game, but it got really messy towards the end. They started adding more and more to the story without any real explanation as to why all these extra parts are being added.

The game is okay. However, there is a problem.

They announced that this game was remastered in 2015.
However, what I downloaded from PS store was a PS2 version running on emulator.
Fortunately, I managed to get refund. (It was just a one-time exception, though.)

If you'd like to play this game, DON'T DOWNLOAD from PS store.
They are just ripping you off.

After playing other Cage's games (Heavy rain, beyond two souls, Detroit) me and my girlfriend were excited to find out about this game "remastered".

However, nothing has been done about graphics and calling it "remastered" is really misleading. There are some extremely frustrating parts in the game. My wrists hurt from parts where you have to keep spamming L1 and R1 as fast as you can.

The story is easily the worst of Cage. It starts rather promising but ends with a cliche fiasco. I would strongly recommend not to buy this game, even if you are a Cage fan. It's not unplayable, but oh well, it's quite bad from every aspect.
