Dec 26, 2017I really enjoyed this game. It's one solid game and the combat is so fluid and responsive. The story line is what gets you. I really had to wreck some brain cells to get my head around what the game was really about. The one draw back is that it is really short. Great for trophy hunters but not for those of us who really want to dig into a game. Either way... worth your money.

Dec 10, 2018A short 2D slasher with fantastic combat and a brilliant fourth wall-breaking story. It constantly surprises you. The fact that it's so short only makes it better. Not a game for everyone, but perfect for action gamers who also like to reflect on the medium.

Aug 23, 2017ICEY IS a neat idea, that admittedly, probably won’t be for everyone. What does beat at the heart of ICEY, is a perfectly acceptable action game with fluid visuals, style and energy. All of which contains an interesting twist on the experience.

Aug 16, 2017Although Icey contains an entertaining meta narrative, it really isn't much of a game. However, the combat can be quite fun (albeit underutilized) so if you're looking for a short and strange experience then Icey will be worth checking out.
