    First of all, I don't like so many exploration games, and for me, it was a pain. Even though the game is very nice in terms of art design, gameplay, and RPG elements, The world is amazing, the gameplay is nice, and he deserves one of the best games on Sony's console.

    one of Play station gorgeous & beautiful exclusives graphically & visually.
    same level as ghost & death stranding in level design & world creating.
    game-play may become repeated & boring. dialogue system is not good enough.
    Aloy became one of my favourite protagonist.

    Finally got to play Horizon Zero Dawn! A game that I wanted to play for some months now.
    I'm gonna be honest, the story in this game and the writing overall are actually a bit better than I expected, good stuff.
    The gameplay is really enjoyable! Fun combat system, smooth and fast animations, potions, traps, herbs, crafting ammo e.t.c. I just wish there were more types of weapons, but    Finally got to play Horizon Zero Dawn! A game that I wanted to play for some months now.

    I just wish there were more types of weapons, but still, very fun for the most part.
    The visuals are incredible; definitely one of the best looking Open World games I've ever played, period.
    The audio design is great too and the music is decent for sure.
    The world looks wonderful and the machines are absolutely spectacular, probably the highlight of the game.
    Last but not least, and there's a fair amount of side-content in the game.
    The game has some issues though; the side-content lacks depth and it has a lot of repetitive quests.
    Also, the characters are rather forgettable, except from maybe the protagonist, and the lip syncing is off-putting.
    The Frozen Wilds expansion was alright; a bit tedious at times but it's okay overall.

    Pros:
    + Interesting story
    + Very good gameplay
    + Gorgeous world
    + Machines

    Cons:
    - Not enough depth for the side-content
    - Unmemorable characters
    - Lip syncing

    Horizon Zero Dawn might not be anything special yet, but it is a very solid beginning for a series and I'm definitely looking forward for the possible sequel.

    I bought it yesterday on PS5. Class, beauty, glory, addictive gameplay, beautiful story, great graphics, I haven't been so hooked on the story of a game in a long time. 10/10

    Played the whole thing on steam deck, ran great.
    The gameplay isn't great, you have loads of weapons but none of them are good. The open world is basic and the stealth system is bad.
    The lore is good but could be told better

    This is a really nice treat for 9,99 € price tag, and 60 FPS on PS5 is the real sweet spot. The game itself is still beautiful in 2022 and it may be one of the most amazing on my 2022 playlist. The open world mechanics are quite classical but are also cleverly brought. I found zero annoying sidequests, they all show their own sub stories, collectibles are not a burden to find, everythingThis is a really nice treat for 9,99 € price tag, and 60 FPS on PS5 is the real sweet spot. I also play a lot of racing games and use to play multiplayer games in my high school days but now that it's hard for me and my friends to find a good time to link up so now it’s more rare for me to get into a multiplayer game. I prefer Playstation due to their focus on narrative games. For scoring, I’ll be using the Gameinformer review scale and of coursed influenced by my personal opinions.

    I had my doubt about this game before playing it It was the developer first time stepping away from the killzone game and thought a game with robot dinosaurs were going to be cringe level.     A very gripping story in one of the most beautiful created environments you will play in. Guerrilla games truly have a gem on their hands. Aloy feels like a true female protagonist not shoved into our faces to spread the message. The end of the game leaves you wanting more, to know what will happen afterwards and thankfully as I am writing this Forbidden West has come out.

    gra bardzo fajna, bardzo rozbudowana i ta kozacka fabuła, szkoda że pierwsze 6 godzin jest straszne nudne, pierwsze misję idą i nie wiadomo nic, dopiero ostatnie misję dają ważne informacje, wszystko zaczyna się kleić i dopiero wtedy poznajemy ten rozbudowany swiat.

La historia entreteniene de principio a fin, original y bien construida, con un rico mundo lleno de contexto que se expande a través de coleccionables. Sin embargo, en la trama principal, hay ciertos tramos donde se abusa de estos coleccionables para contar la historia. A niveñ técnico es una maravilla, ni bugs ni problemas de rendimiento, y con un doblaje al castellano impresionante. La expansión Frozen Wilds está bien integrada, es una parte de la historia más, con nuevos y diferentes retos. Lo mejor es el mundo, tanto en tamaño, detalle y trasfondo, así como la enorme satisfacción que produce el cazar máquinas, ya que algunas son un muy buen reto, sobre todo al principio. I loved it from the beginning till the end, the story of a young female hunter trying to find the truth about her origin and the truth behind the Project Zero Dawn is so good that I cannot even find a word for it, simply one of the best stories ever made. There is a great amount of side quest (every sideHorizon Zero Dawn is a spectacular, amazing, innovative and surely a MUST-PLAY game. I loved it from the beginning till the end, the story of a young female hunter trying to find the truth about her origin and the truth behind the Project Zero Dawn is so good that I cannot even find a word for it, simply one of the best stories ever made. There is a great amount of side quest (every side quest is like a small story, what is the most important, those quests are non-repetitive), type of machines ( every type of machine has its own weakness and strength, its on you to find the best way to hunt it down), weapons ( many types of weapons and ammunition means that you have many possibilities on which way to hunt down a machine and find a way to exploit their weaknesses) and many different ways to approach the game. The ability to craft its own ammunition is really a good way to use the environment and your surroundings. The map is huge and beautiful, the graphics are amazing and sometimes left me speechless when I saw how beautiful the world of HZD is. The Frozen Wilds DLC is also a great addition to the game, a little story within the regions of the Banuk ( a tribe who lives in the mountains). I have to admit this was the first time I have ever heard about Guerrilla games and I bow them, they made this game glorious, and with no doubt I am sure they're going to make great games also in the future.… Expand

    Потрясающая игра, интересный мир, большой и красивый открытый мир, отличный геймплей, приятный визуальный дизайн. Дополнение тоже отличным получилось, было очень классно и интересно погрузиться в этот необычный мир!

    Furthermore - there is the mindless loop of gameplay of treading from location to location, watching a cut-scene (totally breaking any immersion as it is from cinematic angles), choosing from dialog options, etc. etc.

    One of the best games I have ever played. Fantastic story, sublime graphics, breath taking open word and much more. Fighting with machines was awesome. Cool machines with different difficulty level.

    Side missions are also very well written and executed besides main story. All in all its a thrilling experience to play this game.     I finished it twice in a row, without starting any other title in the meantime for even a minute. Second attempt was on the highest available difficulty, what makes the game fresh again. You feel that enemies are much stronger than you, those are beasts and Alloy is fragile, but it does no stop you from hunting them all down. I loved how the game allows you to interact and use environment in combat, how hard it is to defeat strong opponent using wrong tactics and how much easier it becomes once you understand weaknesses of the particular beast. The story itself is interesting enough to keep you engaged with it. There are some twist on the way, so it does not get boring. I really enjoyed the world made of somehow primitive tribes with advanced technology. I was super satisfied with the size of the world, filled with different activities (my favourite one are the hunting grounds, they are quite different from each other and provides great additional challenge). Clearly one of the best games available on PS4 if not one of the best games of all times. A must have!… Expand

I feel like this game is extremely overrated. Even nude mod for Aloy (on PC) didn't make me care to go back, that's how boring this game feels. First few hours, you play as baby Aloy, who every time she jumps off a rock face lands on the ground like a 1,000 pound dumbbell punching a crater into the earth. It gets bad when she gets berated byAll the reviews I read about this game had nothing but great things to say about it. I was very skeptical at first and, to be honest, the first few hours of the game are aggravating as hell. First few hours, you play as baby Aloy, who every time she jumps off a rock face lands on the ground like a 1,000 pound dumbbell punching a crater into the earth. It gets bad when she gets berated by her entire village to the point it's almost comical. What’s also comical is the MacGuffin she finds in the old underground ruins at the start of the game, where she picks up an ear piece from a dead body. It’s almost hilarious to me how she does it: she takes the head piece off of the dehydrated corps in a very apathetic manner, not even really being fazed by the fact that this is most likely her first time in these ruins and her first time seeing a dead body. “But it’s alright, because Neeto! I’ve got myself a new doohickey! Cool!”

    So, I'm not a fan of the first few hours.

    That said, I love the rest. Exploring the environments is incredible, absolutely gorgeous. I didn't care much for the story, but I didn't really need to because holy **** the game is fun AND visually amazing.

    The art direction is easily, hands down, the best thing about this game, and honestly an inspiration to me. I love the dystopian look with futuristic cyber robots blended in.

    I wasn't a fan of the villain of the "past world", he felt very forced and having him be the reason that Aloys mother and her crew of people died is pretty admirable but boring. Also, I don't know if it's just me, but I really didn't like Aloy's mother. Maybe she just rubbed me the wrong way, but she came across as a real pretentious a-hole. Regardless, her actions did say good about her in the end, but still.

    Overall, the game is decent to above average. It's not something I would go back to anytime soon, but it's pretty damn good for what it is, and worth the price for the environmental designs alone.

    And even though I'm not a fan of Aloy's first hour's of gamplay, I did like her after a while and do feel there is a lot of unused potential that they could explore of her in the sequel.

    I really do hope they give her the love and care she deserves in the new game, I really want to like her better!

    Really outstanding experience playing this game!
    Whole created world is just fantastic, if you are sci-fi lover like me you will be astonished witch all collectibles and world description scrapes you can find.
    But I had to take off one point - story could be a bit better written.

    Overall - must play for PS gamers (or PC)!

    Playing Horizon Zero Dawn on PlayStation 5 is such an excellent experience that it made me excited for the upcoming Forbidden West and keep in mind; I rarely get excited for upcoming games. If you still haven't played it yet, I wholeheartedly recommend it.
