    A super fun game with loads of replayability as the missions can be accomplished in many different ways.

    First of all, I found the menus very confusing in this game. There were so many options that I didn't know how to even begin playing the game. I suspect this is down to the game originally being released in stages. I also don't appreciate the home screen trying to sell me crap - I just want to play the game!

    One thing that stood out in the game was that the graphics can be so great but the framerate absolutely dreadful at times. I usually have to focus very hard to see framerate issues but the stuttering and jagged-edges of Hitman is very noticeable and very frequent. Still, it doesn't ruin the experience.

    Like all Hitman games, the gameplay is where it stands out. The sandbox you are dropped into each level is amazing. It can be fun to explore and familiarise yourself with your settings before finding the assassination method that suits you best. Quite often I stumbled onto methods serendipituously, but that's part of the experience.

    What did grind my gears a lot were the slow menus when I paused the game. It took far too long to save my game and then even longer when I wanted to reload a save after screwing something up. I hope they fix this in the sequel, which I may buy soon.

    Overall, a decent game but they screwed up in a few places. I'm hoping they've learned their lessons and have corrected things in the sequel.    … Expand

    Addictive, varied sandbox gameplay. I don't like the original release method, but now that its all compiled here in the definitive edition, there's no reason not to play.

    I like the world of Hitman a lot. Started with Hitman codename 47 on my old PC. I played all games about agent 47. This one is grate. Graphics is brilliant and looks great on PS4 Pro. I like that it’s possible to restart every level and play in many different ways. I finished the game, bit I’m sure I’ll come back to replay again. Now I play second season (Hitman 2) and I’m waiting for theI like the world of Hitman a lot. Started with Hitman codename 47 on my old PC. I played all games about agent 47. This one is grate.     Unengaing and repetative gameplay, can only really elminiate people in the scripted way where you have to follow step by step instructions, only alternative is shoot and run. Find the game fairly boring due to this as there isnt really much player input

    Never understood the apeal of this games. The intelligence of the npc is really bad and for me that ruins most of the fun. You can do something in a lot of different ways but overall the game don't motivate you to try different things to complete a mission.

    Constant server connection issues. The game is literally unplayable.

    Es tan grande y con tantas variables para "acabar el trabajo" que llega a abrumar... no es mi tipo de juego. ahun asi considero que es un gran sandbox de infiltracion con millones de mecanicas. A mi no me atrae lo suficiente me parece lento la verdad, creo que esperava otra cosa...

    When I first started playing this game on ps4 I thought okay I'll give it a go but when I began to play it I though this is trash the main reason why is because the graphics are the same as the original Hitman PC game plus the game-play is really hard to get a grasp of like button configurations

    This game is AMAZING.
    This is how video games should be. difficult. honestly i am sick of playing super-simplified children's games for "everyone to play".
    in this game there are 3 difficulties (easy, medium, hard) and they are all calibrated for experienced players. I love stealth games because they also give you that extra difficulty. if I can tell the truth I have lost count of all    This game is AMAZING.

    how can this game have such a score?
    it may not be perfect (yet), but damn, this is fun. so many possibilities to complete each job, such vast maps, good enough visuals and sounds. it is at the very least a fking fun game.
    specially considering it came for free from psplus this month

    Hitman seems a great franchise that I just discovered. I think most of the maps are really well crafted and polished. Graphics are certainly above average here ! I found the game fun for the most part. However, here are a few problems with this game:

    1) If you play Hitman like myself, it will be a short game for you (maybe 8 hours maximum). I don't replay the missions to complete the    Hitman seems a great franchise that I just discovered. I think most of the maps are really well crafted and polished. Graphics are certainly above average here ! I found the game fun for the most part. However, here are a few problems with this game:

    1) If you play Hitman like myself, it will be a short game for you (maybe 8 hours maximum). I don't replay the missions to complete the different challenges. Keep in mind that for the last map (Japan), only 9,5% of the players completed the main mission and less than 1% completed everything (I think it is even less than 0,5% accordong to PSN trophies) so I assume most players don't put a huge amount of hours in this game

    2) If you do mistakes in the beginning of a mission, it can be hard to enjoy the rest of it as you'll be either compromized or pursued. It can encourage save scumming...

    3) Story is weak

    Overal, still a really good game and I'm looking forward to play a few bonus episodes and Hitman 2 and 3 in the future :)    … Expand

    I am not sure how much it has improved from the original versions. But I always finish the Hitman franchise as a completionist aiming for 100% with all challenges and lost & found.

    I think this game had me spend around 40-50 hours of solid gameplay. The missions vary in quality n fun, but overall this game is all about being discrete, or you can go bananas.

    I would definately recommend this.

    Every fan and enthusiast of the series will receive in the latest title everything that they know from 'Blood Money' only better, more, more interesting and transparent.
    The story is again just the outer layer of the game and provides a complementary background without affecting the gameplay in any way.
    Again, there will be 47 flying around the world, looking at new places, and in them with pleasure to murder the goals commissioned by the ICA.
    The briefing known from 'Bloody Money' returns, in which 47 can again choose his equipment, which, along with the development of game progress, is enriched with new tools of murder.
    The game is definitely more transparent and legible. Added to it are challenges to be achieved, places to explore, feats to perform, and special opportunities with which you can eliminate the goal in a sophisticated way.

    Hitman is a hybrid of the last two titles of the Danish studio IO Interactive.
    Proven solutions from 'Absolution' such as: instinct, hiding behind obstacles or suspicions of bystanders have been mixed with the gameplay model known from 'Blood Money' improving it and making it version 2.0.

    However, you have to ask the question whether all the changes made are changes for the better - in my opinion not.
    There is even a lack of effective intuitive shooting.
    An interesting story layer that will absorb the player as in the case of 'Absolution'.
    Graphically, Hitman is a game worse than the previous part. And they divide them, up to 4 years difference. Graphic models do not match the 2016 game standards - there has been a fairly serious regression in this respect.
    Thanks to the new formula, the playability of the title has decreased, and it is more difficult for the user to feel the atmosphere of the game. In 7 locations only the last one - the medical center on the Japanese island of Hokkaido has treated me with its setting.
    When we add to this the astronomical amount that the creators demanded for buying their product, the decision to buy it prompts more reflection.
    In addition, at some stage of the game the potential viewer may get tired. The game is not as macabre colorful as its predecessor, and it looks neat, clean and elegant. There are few spectacular killings, and even they do not provide too much admiration.

    There is "what to do" in the new Hitman. The content of the game is rich, I spent less than 70 hours myself, but the quality was hit at the expense of quantity.
    If this part were released in 2012, immediately after 'Hitman: Blood Money', I would praise the title, appreciating its progress, because I can't think of anything but the term - Blood Money 2.0.
    Only that..
    Exactly, just that the perfect Hitman Absolution appeared on the way, and comparing these three titles side by side, today this edition is the best part about the adventures of the nameless killer.

    Honestly this was such a solid entry to reboot the hitman franchise with, The game is really creative and allows a lot of freedom adding so many new features that just make it stand out from the crowd.

    Easily one of the best Hitman games. The many approaches to each assassination, and depth to each one is astounding. It’s amazing how everything works like clockwork.

    I’m frankly shocked by the low score.

    A classic, it really makes you wanna play each level again and again to find out how to kill your targets differently and discover new ways to use your environment to your advantage. You learn to think like an assassin, stealthy and precise.

    Despite its flaws, Hitman: Definitive Edition is a solid installment in the Hitman franchise and serves as a quality introduction to a reboot of a classic title. The Definitive Edition is a great way for players to pass the time until Hitman 2 launches.

    Agent 47 is still killing it and he now has more ways to look stylish with three exclusive Definitive Edition outfits. However, if you already own the Game of the Year version then there really isn't much new to see here.

    Hitman is back, and this time more complete than ever before. With all the new content bundled with the core game, players get more action served. Sadly most technical flaws still remain, but overall the package succeeds.
