    It's a very NES type game of only being able to shoot in one direction with hordes of enemies coming at you. Also has an interesting couch co-op that is surprising fun. Get it.

    I bought it at discounted price around $5 dollar if I remembered correctly. It's a very fun little game, one could keep getting new weapons along the play, and each of them have unique pros and cons. This game allows local coops, I play by myself with easy difficulty and it is not easy at all. But it is fun, so I'm willing to keep trying. The game has 11 chaps, and I would say it is aI bought it at discounted price around $5 dollar if I remembered correctly.     Tolles Spiel. Am besten zu zweit. Alleine ist es glaube ich zu schwer. Wir hatten auch zu zweit Schwierigkeiten mit den Bossen. Viele tolle Waffen, abwechslungsreiche Level. Leider zu kurz.

    This is not the best side scrolling shooter, but it's a good one. I didn't know much about this game until I got it for sale. It feels pretty good to play, and while I'm a bit tired of zombies, it's not too bad here. It's simple enough to play, but it can get hard time to time. Overall, it's a good game that you can also play with friends.

    Grabbed it as part of a PSN Sale and got surprised how fun this game is. If you started gaming 10+ years ago you will definitely love this one. Make sure you avoid easy mode so it will challenge you as well. Looks great, plays smooth and has some really nice tunes.

    I picked it up on the PSN sale and I can honestly say i was pleasantly surprised. Four player local co op is a blast. The atmosphere is great and the 60's music blends in perfectly with the game play.

    Great game. I had a lot of fun playing through this game! The art style is fantastic, the artists did a great job. The level, enemy and difficulty balance all felt great. Also, tons of fun to play local multiplayer. A straightforward, fun time. The weapons were all different and the game balanced the amount of ammunition for each with the enemies you encounter to keep you constantlyGreat game. I had a lot of fun playing through this game!     I bought this from Strictly Limited Games just as a collector's piece not having any idea what it was about, and I was quite surprised that it ended up being a solid side-scrolling shooter that took me back to my childhood (although my childhood games had a lot less gangster brains).

    Basically you play a gangster shooting his way through a zombie-infested town, going through the streets, sewers and clubs. It's a standard 1995 layout; go left to right, fight the same type of 10 different enemies and a couple of bosses then you're done. However, the levels contain enough variety and are just long (or short) enough to keep things interesting.

    Even on easy, I found the difficulty in parts to be a bit tough, but the checkpoint system is frequent and forgiving so it really only took a couple of tries on each hard section to move on. The game is also quite short at only 9 levels, but I feel that any longer and it would have overstayed its welcome, unless it was to introduce more enemy or weapon types.

    Considering this is a 'simple' indie game, the character design, voice acting and gameplay are all incredibly smooth and it makes for a fun couple of hours on the couch.

    The only real issues I had with it were the aiming was quite rigid where sometimes I died because I couldn't aim my gun diagonally, or because my guy would start to shoot down as I ran forwards. But these are relatively small issues that didn't ruin the game for me.

    It's got couch co-op too, but not having any friends around I wasn't able to test it. Considering how much fun I had on my own though I'd imagine it's even better with a friend. Highly recommend.    … Expand

    GG&C is not original in any way but if you simply want to spend a pleasant couple of hours shooting people and burning zombies (preferably in co-op) while enjoying great hand-drawn visuals and unconstrained humor, it’s a really good pick. [02/2016, p.50]

    Overall Guns, Gore & Cannoli was a nice surprise once I got into it. I could certainly feel similarities to Metal Slug and other side scrolling shooters. The setting is interesting, art direction and soundtrack is unique and suits the game well.
