It is essentially the same as the PS2 version just with updated graphics and trophy support. The character models, environment and cars look much nicer but unfortunately there is clipping and graphical glitches everywhere. It also feels that the difficulty has been somewhat toned down as well.

There were a lot of things changed in this version like the PS2 emulated version on the Playstation 3 mainly the soundtrack where we lost Billie Jean, Wanna Be Startin Somethin, WOW, Rock-it, Running With The Night, Bark at the Moon and five songs from the Esperanto radio station because of licensing issues. They also fixed the frame rate problems the original PS2 version had and the emulated version on the Playstation 3. They also removed all Haitian and Cuban references like in the previous remasters as well.

A great remaster to such an iconic game.

They were able to make a great port for iOS, but for PS4 they just used PS2 emulator. You can imagine how it looks like on a large TV with its 480i resolution. Nevertheless it is not able to run in 60fps... or 30fps... or sometimes even 20fps.

Vice City has and always will be one of my favorite games. But you'd think they could just remaster the game but instead, it's just a port. There's some graphical issues.

I tried GTAV and just ended up hating it. It was way too serious. This game blew me away! You actually travel to a time and place with a mood and aesthetic which makes it so fun to boot up again and again, in addition to the script having a more fun Tarantino vibe and a less realistic one

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was released in 2002, just a year after the 3 part. Considering that 10 years have passed since the release of the 5 part, the time intervals for the release of the early parts of the series are surprising. But Vice City can hardly be called a DLC for the 3 part. The game took a big step forward. But Vice City can hardly be called a DLC for the 3 part. The game took a big step forward. In the first Vice City, everyone loves for the Miami vibe of the 80s, which I could only understand as an adult. Secondly, this is a sunny and bright game, which cannot be said about the third part. Memorable characters, references to famous films. Vice City still looks relevant. And the more painful this part looks as part of the collection The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. I also went through a collection on the weakest Nintendo Switch platform. As part of The Definitive Edition Vice City, the most fun and less optimized part. But after its passage, there was a desire to go through the original game, after more than 20 years the game did not lose its charm. Expand

It's an overall decent title, that deserves A BETTER remaster/remake. Don't know why Rockstar never bothered to do it, but no matter the reason it is one of their best games.
Didn't like the poor mechanics either. The camera is always out of place and clunky.

I'm once again disappointed by Rockstars. I love Vice City but this game is unplayable on the ps4. They could've tried the IOS version on the consoles but instead we get a copy and paste game with very stiff and awkward controls and with no efforts to enhance the gaming experience. I recommend sticking with the IOS version and forgetting about the ps4 version. If I never grew up playingI'm once again disappointed by Rockstars. I know It's a 2002 game and I don't expect a complete remake but Rockstars didn't even try to enhance the graphics, let you move the camera around as you move using the right joy stick, make certain missions and tasks easier, etc. It's pure laziness Expand
