Jun 5, 2018Gorogoa is quite a nice puzzler, neither very simple nor very hard, with good art and interesting mechanic.
The reason why I give it 6 and not say 8 is duration. Game is very short. Charging £15 for 90 minutes game is uncool. I expected that it will give enough game for at least a weekend of video gaming. -

Dec 8, 2018Gorogoa is a very original intuitive puzzle game that is artistic and poetic. It's a bit short, but I enjoyed every second of it.

Mar 5, 2019One of my favorite games in recent memory - I really felt like this game was surprising me at every turn, and while I definitely loved the puzzle elements, my favorite part of playing this was having the whole experience come together and seeing the way in which different gameplay elements allowed me to experience this story in ways that I couldn't have outside of a video game medium.

Aug 17, 2018This is a very beautiful game. It's a puzzle game maybe in the genre of The Witness, where you sort of know what you have to do but not how or why. There are a few moments of discovery where you figure out something that was complex but logical. However it is a very short game, and that will turn a lot of people off. It doesn't woory me so much, except that I would have liked more of the same.

The game has a very cool graphic and the puzzels are fun.

Oct 10, 2020One of the most imaginative and pleasing puzzle games I've ever played. I usually don't really like the puzzle genre but the graphics are beautiful and the creative ways in which you complete the puzzles are so utterly satisfying. The story is a little confusing at times, I often felt like I didn't really know what was going on. But the novelty of the games unique style made up for it.

May 4, 2022Buried Signal’s genre-defying drag-and-drop puzzle videogame, Gorogoa, is an enchanting exploration of parallels, perspective, mythology and spirituality, and I’m beginning to believe the secrets of the universe are right there, in Roberts’ beautifully illustrated world, its ruled margins, its code.

Playstation Official Magazine UKJul 2, 2018It's short, but Gorogoa sticks around exactly as long as it needs to. Little else out there has such satisfying eureka moments. [Issue#151, p.97]

May 31, 2018Gorogoa is an immaculate puzzle game. Gorgeous art, beautiful but ominous ambient music, and mind-blowingly clever design combine for something special. It's a game like nothing we've ever played before, and with a modest run-time and low price-point to boot, you have no reason not to snag this outstanding experience.
