    Fossil Hunters is a game I’ve been looking forward to playing for the last six months and Reptoid Games have not disappointed me. This team based puzzler is superb and will be sure to unleash your inner palaeontologist.

    This game is okay if on sale for like 5 to 10 bucks otherwise it is a rip-off in my opinion. There is not that much to do and the game itself is very repetitive. Some game design decisions are also not very helpful, e.g. monsters stomping through the puzzle area. Same goes to levels that need specific items such as bridges, but when you are short and need to buy additional ones the ones that you already used disappear and the level resets. Very annoying. I m not sure whether this is a bug or intended but it will waste a lot of money / time.

    In general the game idea is not bad and the levels consecutively grow in mechanics, some of which are well implemented and some are not. Some are even frustrating. Overall if you want a somewhat cozy game and dont need deep mechanics then give it a try if it is on sale, otherwise I would not advise to do so. Game lenth will be around 7 to 12 hrs depending on how well / fast you progress.

    One more addition: I played this on a PS4 Pro with SSD and the loading times are way too high for a game that simple. In very few areas I had minor frame issues but this might be to some specific particle effects in the game.    … Full Review »
