A fun survival scenario, that is very well realized.

It's a simple concept, in a game with a simple gameplay loop. You are a night security guard at a kids' pizza place with a handful of mascot animatronics. The animatronics will move and try to reach you. You can monitor them on a feed of the restaurant's cameras and can manually close your office doors to protect yourself. These

The animatronics will move and try to reach you. You can monitor them on a feed of the restaurant's cameras and can manually close your office doors to protect yourself. These actions use up power, though, and you only have a finite amount of juice to last you the night.

This first entry in the FNaF series is, in my opinion, still the best at creating horror. The animatronics have never looked better, by looking the most like something a real-world amusement attraction could conceivably own. I've never seen a real-life animatronic that didn't look abjectly terrifying, so the more FNaF models prioritize looking realistic, the better. Other entries in the series may be more effective at creating tension, but tension and horror are very different beasts and I believe FNaF 1 is the best horror game in the series.
