This is a 9.0/10 game in my opinion but I ranked it 10 to compensate for the ridiculous low scores. This game is revolutionary. If it's not your style of game then that's the genre not the game itself. Read the other reviews on here for impressions. I agree with it all! Excellent game!

Awesome PSVR game! The game is a little light on variation with game types but this does not mess with the fun factor. Also the aim controller can go a little crazy from time to time but this is a PSVR must have and a reason to own a PSVR. Sorry about the dude with the nipple aiming but I have never had this issues. I have about 6-10 hours of playing and never had this issue.

It is hard to live up to the hype...but Firewall does that and then some. Looks great and plays even better! The aim controller really shines here and makes mowing down the enemy so damn fun. Teamwork is key and I haven't fun into any toxic players so far. This game is tense! Short review but it is time to get back in.

    Extremely immersive
    Aim support

    Cons:
    some annoying bugs
Games are one round instead of best of 3
Matchmaking with a party of any size can split your group up (known bug)
VOIP drops out sometimes (known bug)

In short if you own or are thinking about getting a PSVR this game will keep you busy for the months and maybe even years (depending on post launch support) ahead.

I've played it for several hours now and its definitely the most fun i've had with the PSVR in terms of multiplayer gameplay. The launch has gone very smoothly although there are some bugs that need fixed, this doesn't take away any of the fun whatsoever and I look forward to continue playing it and unlocking all of the weapons, characters and gear. I want to just jump back in and play more!

This game takes VR from a fun tech demo to a serious gaming platform. The first VR game that I will play on a daily basis instead of picking up the headset once a month. This game does what we all imagined VR should be. It has much room to improvement, but is by far the most fun in VR I have had. I have played and own many VR games, this game will be a waypoint in VR history.

Definitely best use of VR for a first person shooter that I've seen. I have over 100+ PSVR games and this one blew me away. I'm not a huge online shooter fan but this one has me hooked wanting to jump in for more. Literally leaning IRL and blind firing in the game is so fun. Duck under cover..etc.

This game isn't perfect but it's revolutionary. Best VR game.
Positives: I've just never had this much fun; the unlocking system is deep and varied. So much equipment, guns, skills, skins, cosmetics... it's actually unbelievable. I haven't experienced any lag which is remarkable. The polish, the details, the gameplay variations. The aim controller tracking is exceptional and the best yet.

Negatives: Party system for finding matches needs to get fixed, sometimes going into public matches with friends doesn't work. And they need host migration or need to fix it -- been dropped from a few games.

Firewall is everything I ever wanted of a VR game. I play a lot of Multiplayer shooters. But in VR its amazing. I will play this game for a long time.
I give it a 9/10 because there are still things that can be improved.

This is the best game on PSVR besides Superhot. It’s pretty much exactly what you want from a VR shooter. Great gunplay, great tracking, good graphics, excellent level design and rewarding customization. As for “nipple aiming”, it’s actually pretty intuitive and after a round or two you don’t even notice it. This is game is a must-buy for PSVR owners.

If Farpoint introduced the AIM Controller, then Firewall: Zero Hour is the game that introduced us to its true potential. The visuals are top-tier in terms of PSVR, with high definition textures and a perfectly smooth frame rate.

It's a slower-paced, tactical shooter more like Rainbow Six than Call of Duty, and the objective layouts are softly random, with multiple spawn points for the Laptop on each map. The shooting feels responsive and satisfying, and the relatively slow movement speed makes it suitable even for people who are mildly susceptible to VR motion sickness (which I am).

If you were turned off by the repetitive textures, muddy graphics, and awkward weapons of Farpoint, then give Firewall a try. Though the games were made by two separate developers, Firewall improves the concepts set forth by Farpoint in basically every aspect. The animations are still a tad wonky, such is the nature of VR with free movement and 1:1 weapon tracking, but they are a massive improvement compared to the stiff, elongated models of Farpoint.

The star is, again, the AIM controller. Buy it if you don't have it, or use it if you do. The control layout is easy to use and the tracking is spot-on. The rare issues I have are fixed by a bit of wiggling of the controller outside of the view of the camera. The head tracking is always spot-on, meanwhile.

Leaning around corners to peek, or blind-firing by holding the AIM controller over a wall are tactics that could only ever be this satisfying in VR, and they are viable tactics encouraged by the level design and tactical pacing.

Sitting right there as the Player vs. Player equivalent of Skyrim VR and Resident Evil VII, Firewall: Zero Hour is an early-stage VR masterpiece. There is room for improvement in the medium as a whole, but its potential is powerfully tapped in this game.

My only complaint are the length of the games, there's only 1 round per map and they often end in less than 6 minutes (which is easily fixable).

This game is amazing and probably the first true multiplayer PSVR game that's worth the price.

The wait is over and now after spending a whole night playing (and morning/afternoon) this game and fiddling with everything it has to offer, here is my short review:

    Graphics:
This game looks amazing, it really shows that devs took their time to make it look as good as possible on both PS4 pro and OG (yes, it does look great on OG too!)

    Audio:
Easily one of my favorite features of the game, it does makes you feel totally immersed, 3D audio really is spot on and it makes you feel like you really are in the middle of a very tense conflict!

    Gameplay:
Superb. It really is very well crafted, this is not your “Rambo” kind of game where you can just charge like a super soldier, you NEED to work as a team (this is the core of the game) and communicate as such, move as one and strike with precision, fortunately the game DOES live up to the expectations and every time I got killed it never felt like it was because of bad game design of but because I messed up, the game can be played with both DS4 and AIM but the AIM makes this a whole different experience, it feels perfect and responds perfect too, you can aim down the sights and just basically handle it as you normally would a weapon in real life. Rounds are fast but while playing feel longer than what they actually are because they are so intense! And once you’re killed is not over for you, you can still help your remaining teammates by using surveillance cameras and providing advice on enemy’s locations. I never had any issues playing online with lag and such and there are plenty of unlockables and customization to keep you busy and coming for more. As of right now there is only one mode (defend a laptop or attack the defending team and hack the laptop) but I’m sure the devs will keep adding to the game.

    Motion sickness:
I had none, and this is because fortunately the devs made a great job of offering plenty of comfort options, you can basically adjust the game to your liking.

    Tracking:
Spot on, the Aim responds perfectly and you can easily play this standing up or sitting down, no drifting at all.

    Overall value:
Lots. This is a very polished game, every little detail has been carefully crafted into a very high-quality product that you won’t regret purchasing, and this is coming from someone who dislikes online games, and first-person shooters!

    + Amazing visuals and audio
    + Immersive addicting gameplay
    + Very social
    - Lack of modes (as of right now)
-/+ Takes some time to unlock things

Firewall Zero Hour is the beginning of something truly great, from the moment you boot it up you can tell the devs really put love into making this game, this is not some cash grab game plagued with microtransactions, day one DLC, season passes and such, in fact everything is bought with in game currency that you get for, you guessed it, playing the game. If you’re on the fence, don’t be, for $80 you can get a sweet bundle that contains both the game AND the the AIM controller that you can use for other gems like Farpoint, so you can’t go wrong. PSVR owners rejoice, this is indeed a system seller.

Firewall Zero Hour needs more support from a pretty large community of PSVR owners. It's understandable that it may not be everyone's choice of gameplay. With dozens of small quirky titles and some fully fledged AAA games that don't rely on interpersonal competitiveness, some players may choose to pass on this shooter. It's way too early to tell if the game will take off and garner the praise and community that it arguably deserves. Firewall Zero Hour is a dream for any shooter fan.
