The menus lag, offline games lag even worse and online lags to the point its completely unplayable. Not all of us have a PS5 EA. Some of us don't want one. Some of us may want one but cant get one. Gameplay a side, all EA have done is try and halt RTG players. If you are a gold 3/2 RTG player than you will never qualify for FUT champs with the new qualifying format. Gold 5k packs and Bronze 400 packs have been removed to stop coin grinding. Starting prices for cards has been raised and discard prices save been lowered. So cards wont sell forcing you to discard for less. The level they have gone to to try and force pay to win is criminal.… Expand

    Incredibly frustrating and unpredictable gameplay as usual added with the gambling loot boxes which is a major factor as to why the game is unfair, as I was playing I was seeing people use the best and most expensive cards before the game had been fully released for everyone.     Same thing every year and worst is you pay 69€ for almost exact same game. You Will be tired of the New content/cut scenes in a few Days. And then you Will realise that 90% is still fifa 20 and 21. Career Mode in fifa could have so much potential but still so far of containing what the fans want and the details that could make our game play better.     Long: I was waiting this game for some time, they said that the game is brand new wrote from scratch, more realistic (scorpion goal kick??), and all the hype around it made me to buy it, which now I regret it. For me    Short: (FUT) Pay-to-win, unplayable, frustrations, torture, rage, altered nervous system and broken controller, I want my money back - for the game and for the controller.

    Long: I was waiting this game for some time, they said that the game is brand new wrote from scratch, more realistic (scorpion goal kick??), and all the hype around it made me to buy it, which now I regret it. For me this game it's a torture, lost all the rivals except 2 or 3, tried squad battles, more torture, also, they are forcing us to play online friendlies to complete long objectives, they know rewards are important in this game and we will spend time for useless modes. The only method to play it is in short boring passes, it's somehow discriminatory, as the players used to this methods in previous game, now have big advantage than players playing other styles. The opposing goalkeeper is like a wall, while mine is like an open door. Easy to lose the ball, hard to get it back. Those AI CBs are always near the ball, hard to score, while mine CBs drink coffee when the opponent is about to score. FUT is more pay-to-win than ever. A lot of duplicates from packs. A lot of bullies, players who maybe already spent money in the game, or they are really good at the game, and fifa shouldn't match with weaker players or beginners. I know I'm not a PRO, but not like losing most of the matches, the game won't me let to win. And so on, a lot of frustration, I could write kilometers. If they will patch and make it better, I will change my score as well.    … Expand

    Trash lol I can't imagine someone actually playing this game as their main and only game everyday.
    I don't care how much you love football but please consider your existence. I can name a million games better than this pile of garbage. It says a lot when the majority of the community thinks the PS5 version is actually worse than the PS4 version which was basically a copy paste.

    Same game different number. They should make this a free to play game not worth the 60-70 bucks. Aswell as the ps4 game as the ps5 game are bad. And imo both versions should play the same but it actually don't. I have given back my game and I am never going to buy a Fifa anymore. There are alot of stupid streamers for this game which are actually more in the menus of this game (brainlesslySame game different number.     Nothings changed! What the hell they been doing for the last year?! Still the same old awful gameplay. Lag issue. Scripting. I'm just so glad I only played the trail and not bought the game. EA should be ashamed

    Abysmal game, nothing new other than the sloppy basic programming of some career mode stuff. None of the actual game plays any better and nothing new on the looks either. Another number added onto the basic game of FIFA 15. Avoid.

    This game is not football. It blows my mind that EA after all these years still can't make a great football game. it generates income off a gambling machine. If Konami don't get it right on the pitch there is no hope for football games if this is out only option.

    I enjoy it. Im not huge into soccer but its fun to play and i dig career mode as a manager. I try to do scenarios like only players from whatever country the team I pick is in or only players under 25, etc. be creative in manager mode and its fun

    Legacy defending not working properly. Connection issues all the time. Passing in online mode is the worst I have ever seen and you can't score inside the box. Worst Fifa ever.

    Offense is unrealistically overpowered
    Broken game in every aspect.

Players stop running, ball bumps everywhere like you are playing pinball, players with 90+ passing can't pass anymore, etc. Passing can be horrendous.     Got Fifa 22 for PS4. Only scoring a 4 on the basis that the Switch version is abysmal and literally hasn't been meaningfully updated (other than players and kits) since Fifa 19 (which had bugs in the first place) so couldn't possibly be scored higher than the PS4 version which is bad enough in itself for new gameplay. Gameplay is good in itself (when not glitching) and feels realistic butGot Fifa 22 for PS4. Gameplay is good in itself (when not glitching) and feels realistic but the lack of effort put in to career mode is telling. EA have sold themselves out to microtransactions and have made it clear through the lack of effort they put into their games that they are only interested in FUT and appealing to those willing to spend more money than the £50 disc. You can't even play offline divisions offline now in FUT so the only option is squad battles or play with your friend. For that reason this will be the last Fifa game I'll purchase until things changed. I didn't buy it last year and nothing much has changed from the year before and year before that for the casual, offline player.
    The biggest frustration of all however is that even in career mode the game was running really slow and glitching as if it was being played online with a bad connection.definitely would not recommend. If you have a PC version, I'm sure you could download a player update patch for Fifa 21 and have the same experience as players playing this year's version. EA are rip off merchants and players need to stop accepting mediocrity.    … Expand

    Awful game, not only is it exactly the same game it has been for the last 4-5 years, but they've not done anything to fix the issues with any of the previous installments and just thrown it all into one complete f***ery of a game.     FIFA 22 is really good. With new features on career mode like the return of Create a Club and improved gameplay and animations. I can say it's a recommendation.

    FIFA 22 makes the leap to the new generation in a conservative way, with slight changes in its gameplay that lay the foundations of what the saga may become in the future. Lovers of football simulators will enjoy its fast pace and large amount of content.

    After many hours spent on the next-gen version of FIFA 22 (PS5-Xbox Series) and its old-gen bent, the conclusion is there: PC, Xbox One and PS4 players will have a version with the flaws of the new generation, but cut off from its strengths.
