    this was my 1st Fifa that I played and this one is just not good. It's so broken and I never get anything good on Ultimate team. Just not good.

    It's pure cr*p, repeated mechanics that don't make any sense, the volta mode is horrible and nobody uses it, it's also full of bugs that they supposedly always fix but it's never like that, I hope they stop creating this crap as it probably is the eafc 24, same graphics engine and pure cr*p again

    It is quite diabolical. It is one of the most poorly balanced games in existence. The buttons don't work half the time. The passing is nonsense. I pass the ball, three seconds later the guy tries to pass. The AI players on your team will literally stand staring at the ball which is on the ground in front of them and do nothing.     Das Spiel ist von den Mechanics gut bis durchschnittlich. Jedoch steht das Spiel besonders durch das von der Regierung fragwürdiger Weise erlaubte Kindercasino für die PlayStation heraus. Das es so ca. 10.000€ kostet um etwas nur annähernd brauchbares zu ziehen behandeln wir hier garnicht erst. So ein 10€ Taschengeld von Papa ausgeben und Messi oder vergleichsweise gute Spieler ziehen istDas Spiel ist von den Mechanics gut bis durchschnittlich. Jedoch steht das Spiel besonders durch das von der Regierung fragwürdiger Weise erlaubte Kindercasino für die PlayStation heraus. Die Animationen, wenn zb. ein Spieler ein Tor schießt ist immer die gleiche und hängt einem nach so drei Toren den Hals raus. Insgesamt nicht wirklich empfehlenswert. 1/10… Expand

    Catastrophic, embarrassing game. NO improvements in the actual match gameplay which is THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS for the game to be playable and enjoyable. The AI is way too simple, it's way too easy to play through the middle of a defence and almost impossible to play with a target man (striker) since he keeps running until the back line in stead of making e.g. a clever run to the backCatastrophic, embarrassing game.     I've never played a Fifa game with defending as bad as this. And the defending somehow gets worse when you use a back 5 or two CDMs. There are basically three different ways that the defenders feel in this game:
    1) Sometimes the defenders are pretty agile and responsive. They rarely ever feel like this.
    2) More often it feels like they are literally ice skating. Especially when the    I've never played a Fifa game with defending as bad as this. And the defending somehow gets worse when you use a back 5 or two CDMs. There are basically three different ways that the defenders feel in this game:
    1) Sometimes the defenders are pretty agile and responsive. They rarely ever feel like this.
    2) More often it feels like they are literally ice skating. Especially when the attacker does a skill move. No precision in defensive positioning whatsoever.
    3) Most often, they are heavy and trying to make them change direction is like trying to do a 3-point turn with an 18-wheeler full of cargo.

    There's just no consistency in the defensive gameplay at all because manual defending is dead. So often, when i play against someone, they usually just let the AI automatically defend for them. Keeping clean sheets is impossible when defending manually. And instead of actually fixing the defending, EA decided to make the goalkeepers extremely overpowered. The one thing you have no control over is the biggest factor in whether you win a match or not. Ridiculous.

    I've genuinely never played a video game that made me feel less in control of what's happening in the game than this. I didn't think they'd manage it but EA actually made a Fifa game worse than 21.    … Expand

    a truly horrible and frustrating game...I've played FIFA since 06 and I've just had to stop at 19. I don't understand what possessed them to drastically change the gameplay. Defending is worse...just forget about it in this game because the ball can be passed to a winger and your fullback will not do anything even if you are using the sprint.     Una verdadera mierda de juego , no entiendo porque los jugadores tienen stats si no las respetan , un jugador con 40 de ritmo supera a uno de 99 , un jugador de 50 de tiro te hace tremendo gol fuera de área, un jugador con 60 de defensa es imposible pasarlo , entiendo que hay dificultades pero nada es realista

    I’ve played more than 1000 games and i regret buying it in the first place,, players community are €unts, game is glitchy AF,, do not buy to save your own sanity and wallet.     The defense becomes unbelievably terrible. It's just impossible to take the ball away from the running player. When you press X players just run near the opponent and don`t create pressure like before. I played FIFA 19 and it's a bit better than this new game for 70 euros. Typical EA.

I've played for just over a month, completed 413 games in squad battles, rivals and FUT and I'm left bitterly disappointed! In that time I've built an 89 rated team with 100 chemistry but you would notice the difference between this team and myFIFA 22 is awful! Passing is trash! The only player stat that matters is pace! The game is all about £££££ and how much they can suck off you! I've played for just over a month, completed 413 games in squad battles, rivals and FUT and I'm left bitterly disappointed! In that time I've built an 89 rated team with 100 chemistry but you would notice the difference between this team and my first team who rated at 73 with 47 chemistry! It's a joke game!… Expand

You play the same match multiple times and it feels like you playing prime Brazil in one and a bunch of one legged Farmers in the other. My own AI has an accumulated IQ of 3w with getting your defenders to well... defend andThe gameplay continues to be horrible. Even someone brain dead could have programmed it to be more fun to play. You can't tell me that scripting is not involved here. You play the same match multiple times and it feels like you playing prime Brazil in one and a bunch of one legged Farmers in the other. Most tackles go straight back to the opposition depending on how highly rated the player you tackled is. Keepers sometimes come out and completely miss the ball leaving an open goal. Your teams performance depends on whether the game wants you to win the match or not.     Same game every year, EA don't put all the blame on FIFA because yourselves made the franchise the crap it is today.
    Laziness and greed for money turned the game into something meaningless, just changing the game's cover with the same poor content in the box.

Fifa is awful and luckily for them, they don't have many competitors.     This is an update (downgraded) version of FIFA 20. New players, menus, music. Same awful AI, same **** bugs from FIFA 20. I thought they would have fixed some bugs ... it's been 2 years. Even 50% of the full price is shameful. But hey EA loves our money on don't give a damn.

    I purchased this game after skipping the last two for one reason only, custom teams. I bought Fifa 19 only for The Journey.

    Custom teams is a feature that should have been in years ago but has finally been added. I enjoyed this mode and was happy with what we got. The reason for my rating is all of the issues that are in the game. 1. The game engine is outdated and needs changing.     3. The ungodly lag between screens, pisses me off.
    4. The game needs innovation in matches, gameplay, cut scenes.

    Bugs, a lot of them. Goalkeepers doing legendary saves and soon after suffering ridiculous goals, in addition to the hideous simulation in the career mode that gives a lot of 2-2 draw results.

Don't get me wrong - its a very good game but even at less than half price you're buying a game that - if you've bought any FIFA game in the last few years - you've already got!     A few things that really annoy: menus are clunky and jerky, colour palette is garish, stadiums with sun/shadow on the pitch are unplayable as the ball and players disappear in the shadows, commentary is repetitive and cliched ('the atmosphere is electric' - really?), PLEASE bring back Martin Tyler, the layout within e.g. Tournament assumes players have no interest in reviewing their results in games played to date - it is truly awful - to simply see the results of your last few games is a fiddly time consuming mess where you can only see one result at a time then you have to scroll up/down through days and side to side through months to find the next one. And what is it with the absurdly clunky standing tackle?

    Really disappointing. Wish I didn't bother. If you've got any FIFA game since 2018, you've got FIFA 22.    … Expand

    Although the game is the latest installment of the popular franchise of FIFA games, and is the official license of the aforementioned-- this feels like it's an absolutely incredible game for its time, if it was the early 2000's that is.     The gameplay changes every match, one game you're springing off passes as if you're prime Pirlodinho (yes I did just cross Pirlo and Ronaldinho) and then the next match your players can't find the proverbial lady to in an establishment of ladies, that alone is absolutely unforgivable-- but there's more. The glitches and A.i in this game are absolutely awful, with the famed kick off glitch where your opponents players stand around like statues whilst you twinkle toe your way passed their 90 rated defence as you take your kick off to score a very dirty bad tasting goal-- there is also the fact that your players randomly do things in the wrong order of which has been put down to button delay, there are 10's more unforgivable glitches and pure awfulness of this game but the one that takes the cake for me is the fact that if you are lucky enough to have friends and those friends are also masochistic in their gaming and agree to play rivals with you, and you're absolutely destroying your enemy-- I mean opponent to where they forfeit, you COULD possibly come away from that with one of you winning that match and the other recording a match loss, ending your win streak and costing you a division promotion (yes this has cost me promotion on multiple occasions, my friend who pretty much exclusively plays co op with me is in the division higher than me because of it).

    Summing this up, I would suggest not buying this game at anywhere close to full price, and waiting for it to drop to what it is actually worth which is MAYBE £20 at best. Also just a note, the keepers went from being amazing in this game for the first time, to absolutely awful brain dead Bambi on rollerskates. (The keeper stats don't actually matter, look for the hidden in game stat called REACTIONS, this determines whether a keeper has half a brain or no brain)

    I play mainly career mode and this version offers little evidence of noticeable improvements over last year. In fact some menu tweaks have degraded usability and information presentation. The match commentary is worse, and bizarre things happen in game play like the opponent doing crazy back passes when through on goal, and play going into slow-mo during tackles.     FIFA 22 makes the leap to the new generation in a conservative way, with slight changes in its gameplay that lay the foundations of what the saga may become in the future. Lovers of football simulators will enjoy its fast pace and large amount of content.

    After many hours spent on the next-gen version of FIFA 22 (PS5-Xbox Series) and its old-gen bent, the conclusion is there: PC, Xbox One and PS4 players will have a version with the flaws of the new generation, but cut off from its strengths.
