    I see all these comments saying not to listen to the criticism. Well i'll tell you not to listen to these 5 star comments. They're shills paid to promote and defend the game.. It's the same as fifa 19 with the exception of a gimicky game mode which will get boring after a couple of days.. Not to mention P2W and handicapping being just as prevalent this year.

    EA excels at every game manipulating games and player mentality. Again, an arcade game with anti-physical reactions that hooks players with UT like crack, a big slot machine

EA takes easy money for just a minor update, and this year after year. If you like something else, try PES for once.     A shocker!! How can anyone give this game more than 3 unless you are on EAs payroll or too young to comprehend how basic and shallow a game this is. It’s all about the “spectacular” and zero realism or depth. Bugs and scripting effectively mean it’s an x button mash to advance the story. Giving this a zero to compensate for those giving it a 10.     Its interesting isn't it, that FIFA disappears off the main games area of metacritic just before the game gets officially released and the real critics, eg the players get to review it. So the only time it is there is when the paid shill critics have said how good it is. Very suspicious Metacritic. Anyway, this is FIFA 19 reskinned, updated rosters and an extra cash grab mode.

    I don't know how these reviewing companies are giving it such a high rating, it's hardly changed from the last one especially this "revamped" career mode, it's STILL full of bugs, the Volta mode is just a copy and paste of fifa street 2012

As novidades do modo carreira são basicamente o over dinâmico e editar seu treinador, o resto é totalmente irrelevante, tipo mudar o cenário de fundo de uma animação. Na jogabilidade tem os mesmo problemas do 19, como a(PORTUGUÊS) O jogo é muito mal polido, por exemplo várias faces novas virieram totalmente estranhas, com uma textura péssima, o Tony Kross, por exemplo tem esse problema.     The defense changes of fifa 20 are absolutely stupid. The players dont react to anything in the defense so you can just run and shoot. Badest football game ever made.

    I am not a hater, but this game is so bad. Unrealistic gameplay, scripted gameplay. FUT is a separate game with a whole different gameplay that the basic game. Again, the same thinga. Same gameplay, same bugs, same issues.
    FUT is a money grab full of microtranzactions, lootboxes gambling and pay to win. Nothing new, nothing improved. I will stick with PES 2020.

FUT being the only mode with microtransactions is once again the main focus here but is virtually a re-skin of last year with a few improved animations and a tweaked menu system that is actually a downgrade over it's predecessor. Gameplay wise the same issues are at play. Tackles bounce back to the opponent, passing is awful and the shooting system is erratic and unpredictable. Icon SBC's have also been removed from the game in order to punish those who grind towards completing them over an extended period of time and hence push them to an inflated transfer market and buying FIFA points.

    In short this is arguably more pay to win than ever before and possesses the potential to be the worst instalment in the franchise which after playing 19 is quite a statement.

    If you have any value for mental health and the retention of your hairline avoid this cash cow money grabbing casino at all costs.    … Expand

These people are hopeless and should be ashamed to represent such an awful game developer. EA do not care about the customers that aren’t constantly spending additional money on FUT and this is proven by the fact that #fixcareermode is now trending on Twitter and yet they haven’t addressed the long list of issues being faced while at the same time have assured FUT players multiple times since release that minor connection issues are being worked on to ensure they have a good experience. Talk about hypocrisy and disloyalty. Career mode players like myself have played fifa since the late 90’s and seen our favourite game mode sink into oblivion each year. Shame on you EA!     It's really sad to see that professional websites are giving high scores to this game. They do not play online mode or EA is simply buying them. This is basically the same game as the previous two ones. EA spent efforts to bring VOLTA but no one cares about it. They wont make a new guy because they're making rivers of money.     I have played FIFA for many years. But im so tired of EA. Its almost the same game as FIFA19,18,etc. The gameplay is too arcady and not realistic at all. It actually feels worse than last year in some ways. the animations, the whole build up play is a mess and runs from teammates feels akward. I also play PES and did for 3 years now beside FIFA. And after been playing PES20, im soI have played FIFA for many years. But im so tired of EA. Its almost the same game as FIFA19,18,etc. The gameplay is too arcady and not realistic at all. I do like FIFAs graphics and sound, but again it often looks like a cartoon and not like real life. Im tired of Ultimate money mode ruin the other things in FIFA because this is just a cash grap game now! I normally love career mode, but now there are so many bugs in the game and the mode that its almost not playable. This is horrible and so bad. Im tired of unrealistic gameplay, bugs.

No apology from them and deleting any thread mentioning it, after admissions from them they don't even test the game on anything other than PS4 pro and one X, not base consoles. Same mistakes are occuring every single year and EA do not resolve this. FUT is generating money for them because of micro transactions, so they have completely ignored the single player aspect of the game for 7th year running. The career mode isAbsolutely horrendous. Players are so unstable and can't control the ball. The game is emphasising on manual defending but still has legacy defending in the game which is completely impossible to play against cuz the attacking and dribbling optionsIt's sad how people rate this game positively by comparing it to FIFA 19.     FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.
