    EA really slipped. They lack decent competition. Konami is reluctant to impose a fight, although they would have been able to fight and win a loyal audience. With part 17, no worthy changes, only the price tag! The real price of this game is $ 8. Shame on the developers

    No idea why they felt the need, but this game has almost no worthwhile heading.
    There is no doubt in my mind this game is made by the worst human being they could put in a team together.

    It's such an illusion of a good game, but there's not a single gameplay mechanic that always works, there are so many obvious and well known issues that really have no reason to exist, yet they never get fixed. It's unbelievable how they release nearly the same game every year and they still manage to make it worse every time.

    Probably worst fifa ever, super fake gameplay, games are 100% scripted. Pretty simple if EA doesn't want you to win, you won't win.

    Inutile sforzarsi più di tanto a scrivere pagine di commento,brutto gioco,per niente divertente,script a morire che ti impedisce di progredire nonostante la tua squadra migliori di settimana in settimana,sistema di lootbox che rovina la mente di poveri bambini innocenti che vorrebbero solo giocare ad un gioco di calcio, bug a non morire, dei glitch non ne parliamo proprio(45',90' etc).

    Very funny to read reviews of journalists every year. What I can to say? When you play offline mods(career, be a pro, even squad battles in fut) - it's fun, competitive. But when you go to online, balance is going to be idiotic: you can't play with players even with your team, it's always stronger or weaker than you, and then the mighty handicap is decide which team is going to win. I played enough in this game, i played in many divisions and i can say that higher divisions are easier to play because in last divisions skilled players are collecting cards and if you fall in these divisions, get ready for chaos. I don't want to say about that casino in FUT, everyone knows everything about it already. So if you want to get some positive emotions, just play a career mode or be a pro. But it doesn't cost 70$.… Expand

    I miss FIFA 13. EA keeps ruining the game more and more every year. I stopped playing the game a long time ago. I found myself getting mad and even ended yelling at a game that has been ruined with scripting implemented by EA.

    Fifa is the game that I want to be good every year, but once again the game is not fun to play. One of these years they are bound to get it right. But man, this game sucks

    Te dan un jugador de 93 simplemente jugando partidos. Cartas nuevas todas las semanas.

    this game is strait trash. Its a money grab, its mechanics to make sense and its pay to win. If there was negative ratings, I would put it a a negative one.

    After 20 years of development they're still able to release a game, which is just the same every year, full of bugs.
    The game is, most of the time, totally unplayable. This is not about player's ability, most of the goals are scores thanks to AI bugs and errors.

    In the end the only good thing about this game is the graphic side, which is pretty simple to obtain given the modern tecnologies with which they can easily scan real players faces and movements.

    No one should buy games created by EA anymore. They do not care about their users, all they care about is making money. FIFA 20 is the worst football game ever made. Every online game from UT to pro clubs is rigged and every other feature is the same as last years and the year before that and the year before that

Interestingly this is very reminiscent to a child predator but instead of them giving you free candy, you have to give EA the candy which they so much crave. Now to get to this years fifa, fifa 20. What can I say? It’s the same old fifa you know and hate, some of the game modes are actually enjoyable like career mode and pro clubs but if you look back to say, the same game modes if older fifa games such as fifa 15, the game modes have had very slight tweaks and improvements over the years, but not AAA game changes over the 5 year period which is between these games. Every single year it is not A new fifa game that is released but it is a minor update which cost the consumer £50. If you want to waste your money on a game which isn’t much different to the one before it, go ahead. However EA is going to keep scamming you year after year if you keep buying fifa yearly. This leads me to my main issue with the EA fifa franchise. Ultimate team. The controversy over this game mode has exploded over the recent years with main stream media and governments getting involved in the glorified slot machine which is fifa ultimate team. If you don’t know what ultimate team is, it allows you to create a team with players you buy from earning currency in game. Seems innocent right? Wrong! EA has deliberately made it hard to gain large amounts of coins to buy the best players in the game, which gives you a huge competitive advantage. Or... you know, you can just pay for them :) This is where my personal hatred from the disease of a gaming company which is EA comes from. I can’t believe they get away with scamming young children who don’t know any better to use mummy’s credit card in order to purchase the devils currency, which is fifa points. You can spend these fifa points on fifa packs which give you all kind of players ranging from bad to good with chances of getting nothing good for your money. This is a serious problem because fifa packs are just disguises for online slot machines which literally follow the same principles and highly addictive nature of opening a fifa pack. As I mentioned earlier it has reached the attention of various governments around the world and they agree with the points I have made, in Belgium they have banned the purchase of fifa points and countless amounts of countries are proposing stricter regulations around loot boxes such as the UK. Do you know what EA’s response to mainstream media was? ‘It’s just like opening a kinder egg’. That’s all I’m going to say really.

    Thanks for reading this lengthy review about EA which was just an angry rant about how much of a scumbag company EA is. The point to take away with you is stop buying fifa for a few years and EA will be forced to add game changing features and game modes, if you care about the fifa franchise that much.    … Expand

    FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.

    The new Volta mode is loads of fun, especially with some mates. But the overall FIFA experience is starting to creak, despite an impressive array of bells and whistles.
