    You'll like this game if you like Far Cry generally. It plays the hits well: hunting, collectibles, liberating bases, killing villains. But there's nothing new offered, really. You burn plants while music plays, you shoot bad guys with the bow, you drive cars. And that's fun, if you like that! I do and I enjoyed a lot of it. But the game gets old after a while because it's just kind all derivative after a certain point. The game only has so many things it does well. It eventually overdoes them and it becomes a slog at that point. It's just a re-skin of a the last few games in the series and once the novelty wears off, it just becomes forgettable.

    The plot is nothing to write home about. It's alright at first, then gets very stale by the time you're done with your second of the three territories you have to free. Giancarlo Esposito is a wonderful, wonderful villain but there isn't enough of him. And the ending is unfulfilling on a lot of levels, but thankfully it is not as bad as 5's. There are a few good twists, though, which is nice.

    As far as this series goes, it's nowhere as neat/inventive as Far Cry 3, so it's tying with Far Cry 4 in the series. It's not worth the full price, but if you'd like a fun-action shooter this game is probably worth like 30 bucks, tops. 40 would be stretch.    … Expand

    Pros:

    -Beautiful game, really felt they did a good job diversifying the environment. -Enjoyable combat and mechanics. -I liked that there's still base-building (gathering supplies to upgrade hideouts and such, which I enjoyed in 4 and New Dawn as well) -Like Far Cry 5, more effort was put into developing the resistance characters than just the villains -Nice selection of    Pros:

    -Nice selection of Fangs for Hire, glad that they kept that feature.

    -Giancarlo Esposito provides a great performance as Anton Castillo. Very sinister.

    Cons:

    -There's so much going on with upgrades and supremos and gear that it gets a bit messy. I get being ambitious, but there's a point where it just gets overcrowded. The way in which one upgraded or altered weapons wasn't the most straight-forward process either.

    -Did not like the fact that skills are attached to clothes and items instead of a skill tree.

    -Was not fond of the vehicle handling. Felt that the cars were way too easy to flip or upset.

    -While I enjoyed the base-building, it was not as comprehensive as New Dawn's system.

    -The story was weak. Part of what made me like Far Cry 5 so much was that I liked a lot of the side-characters; I felt that they were developed as individuals very well, and therefore felt invested in their fates. I didn't really get attached to any characters in this game.

    -Anton Castillo is a great villain, but he isn't nearly as present in this game as Vaas, Pagan, or the Seeds were in their games. On a series that gets its fame for its villains, that's a big misstep. No point in having a great actor if you're not going to under-use him.

    -I was also not into some of the political stuff in this game. Previous games took stabs at different political figures here and there (Obama in 4, Trump in 5) but for the most part focused on greater themes about loyalty, power, peace, war, human nature, etc. There were points in Far Cry 6 where the line was crossed from "the game is depicting mature themes" to "the game is preaching to me about how to feel about different topics". The best media lets you draw your own conclusions instead of spoon-feeding it to you.

    This was not a bad game, per se. But bigger isn't always better, and I feel like Ubisoft would do better by scaling back a bit in whatever they do next. Like sure, offer loads of side-quests like the Yaran stories, the treasure hunts, the Lighters in 5, etc- but don't lose focus of the plot, and don't over-complicate the mechanics.    … Expand

    The game mechanics are great, even improved on the previous Far Cry series.
    Though still has too many boring side stories, repetitive task, identical checkpoints, military targets etc..     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Well...I expected nothing and it was fine. I got it from a friend so I was happy not to pay for it. The gameplay was as always, typical far cry. I like the weapons but did not really use the arsenal. The use of gear was useless in my eyes. The setting was cool but the villain was not...sadly... the previous parts were way better.

    The last 10 hours were a struggle for me as I wanted to finish the game to get it over. The end was bad, with no real boss fight and a non satisfying end... well...    … Expand

    Pretty good game with an… OK ending. Enjoyed Far Cry 5 a lot more. Giancarlo Esposito was a fantastic choice for a villain. Also, had some issues playing on PS4, occasional freezing and bugs, but nothing too unplayable.

The wingsuit was better before. Just Cause 3 was slightly more than this, which they appear to be ripping off.     The game is so cool the gameplay cool and the graphics and the world are cool the missions are not bad but the problem is the story and some of the characters in the game

    Look at the accounts that are given to the game 10. These are bots of the Ubisoft. They give 10 points to the game on all platforms and they have no more reviews in their history.

    Definitely the best Far Cry game since 3. Story, soundtrack, setting and voice acting are top notch. Has some of the best missions in the franchise. Very enjoyable. Unfortunately not without bugs, but then again it's a Ubisoft game.

    Sad to see that people think it's acceptable to rate the game 0 due to the absence of Italian dialogues, these types of issues need to be addressed on the    Definitely the best Far Cry game since 3.     Il grande problema di questo gioco come hanno fatto notare già in molti è la mancanza della lingua italiana nei dialoghi. Ma non soltanto questo perché i dialoghi in inglese sono orribili, parlati con un terribile accento spagnolo, una specie di anglo-spagnolo e non si capisce niente! Alla fine la trama la capisci pochissimo, senza contare che il gioco è abbastanza scemotto, i personaggi eIl grande problema di questo gioco come hanno fatto notare già in molti è la mancanza della lingua italiana nei dialoghi. Ma non soltanto questo perché i dialoghi in inglese sono orribili, parlati con un terribile accento spagnolo, una specie di anglo-spagnolo e non si capisce niente! Alla fine la trama la capisci pochissimo, senza contare che il gioco è abbastanza scemotto, i personaggi e amici si comportano in modo strano, fanno cose senza senso, dicono cose senza senso, con una specie di humour strano che si fatica a capire.     the game lacking Italian spoken dialogues is inexcusable mistake. Moreover it does nothing to innovate its old open world formula with uninspired quests, weird characters, eccentric humor and meaningless activities. Visually uninspired too.

    Game gets boring FAST. Story missions are disjointed and every mission has a "fetch quest" vibe to them. Playing for 30 minutes at a time is enough as it's an open world created without any soul or love. None of the characters stand out. They're all so bland and forgettable.

    Dopo aver giocato tutti i Far Cry precedenti con parlato in italiano, questo sesto episodio lascia l'amaro in bocca e non si capisce perché abbiano tolto la nostra lingua dal gioco. Se persino Watch Dogs Legion aveva il parlato in italiano ed era un giochino secondario, per quale motivo avete eliminato l'italiano da una serie consolidata e con tanti fans come quella di Far Cry?

    This is comfortably the best Far Cry, and I've owned them all since Far Cry 2, all of them purchased on day one. But it's better than that, I do think it's the best FPS I've played. It's going to get alot of GOTY awards, as time will pass: and people will realise that nothing else will have reached this plateau. Guns were animated before, now they seem simulated with how the recoil bounces them around. The optical sights also are simulated and move around alot, which I haven't seen in a game yet. Impacts are very brutal. All the weapons now feel as good as an FPS gets. That alone-the gunplay, might be the single biggest(and most needed) improvement. But it's not really, the fact that you can cause so much chaos it just doesn't stop for 15 minutes till you're dead, is the real star. It's the chaos simulator it was always meant to be.

    It also feels and looks next gen to me, and it SHOULD. Far Cry V was the first not to be held back by last last gen, so was the first true PS4 gen game. This blows it away graphically, really does seem to be the same as in the gameplay vids (even the water with its next gen effects, is on PS4), lighting's phenomenal, the same rich particle effects, shadows are being cast way into the distance, water is especially impressive-though not at first glance. This is the swansong for the PS4 and X1: there won't be another game that looks and plays this good for those machines. Couldn't be happier, as this is everything I was hoping for. Just as Far Cry 3 was the swansong for my '360, being the best looking, best playing and most technically impressive game on that system, so it is for Far Cry 6 on my PS4.    … Expand

This game is the definition of don't fix what isn't broken. It is full of stupid game design choices. They managed to make a solid gameplay foundation feels broken and dumb in every way. It's still a fun game, but with stupid gameplay designs,I don't know what people praising this game are smoking, but this game is **** stupid.     Far Cry 6 perde molto senza l'audio in italiano, sia come atmosfera sia nel seguire la storia principale, sia nell'afferrare l'umorismo dei personaggi di gioco. Mi tocca constatare poi che l'audio in lingua inglese è fatto molto male con cadenza spagnoleggiante e risulta incomprensibile in più occasioni. Per quanto riguarda il gioco è ripetitivo, non intriga, è molto banale e i personaggiFar Cry 6 perde molto senza l'audio in italiano, sia come atmosfera sia nel seguire la storia principale, sia nell'afferrare l'umorismo dei personaggi di gioco. Mi tocca constatare poi che l'audio in lingua inglese è fatto molto male con cadenza spagnoleggiante e risulta incomprensibile in più occasioni. Per quanto riguarda il gioco è ripetitivo, non intriga, è molto banale e i personaggi con cui ci si interfaccia sembrano degli idioti sclerati senza cervello.     siamo guidati da uno dei migliori leaders al mondo, Mario Draghi; siamo il primo paese in Europa ad aver messo il green pass obbligatorio e saremo tra pochi giorni uno dei primi paesi al mondo ad introdurre il vaccino obbligatorio per tutti; abbiamo vinto gli europei di calcio quest'anno; siamo stati storicamente la culla della letteratura, della lingua e della cultura e dalla nostrasiamo guidati da uno dei migliori leaders al mondo, Mario Draghi; siamo il primo paese in Europa ad aver messo il green pass obbligatorio e saremo tra pochi giorni uno dei primi paesi al mondo ad introdurre il vaccino obbligatorio per tutti; abbiamo vinto gli europei di calcio quest'anno; siamo stati storicamente la culla della letteratura, della lingua e della cultura e dalla nostra lingua ne derivano molte altre come il francese, lo spagnolo, il portoghese. E nonostante tutto questo Ubisoft ci ha snobbati e ritiene che l'italiano sia una lingua insignificante tanto da non inserirla in Far Cry 6. Peggio per loro, perchè io credo che questa mossa si tradurrà in una riduzione di vendite del gioco in Italia, molti non lo compreranno e dovranno ricredersi perché in Italia negli anni dal 2004 ad oggi ci sono stati milioni di appassionati di Far Cry, siamo una delle più grandi comunità al mondo di appassionati del gioco basta vedere i tanti forum che abbiamo in Italia che parlano dei vari episodi di Far Cry e delle tante testate che hanno recensito la serie negli anni. Ubisoft hai commesso un passo falso questa volta, io credo che il gioco ne risentirà molto in termini di vendite in Italia perchè noi giocatori italiani ci sentiamo presi in giro… Expand

    awesome game huge world to explore great graphic awesome world built great music choices best game i highly recommend it a must play don't let the bad reviews of Far cry 6 steer you off make up your own mind it's nothing more then entitled gamers whining like babes all cause wow the game did not go off there political narrative of woke like they wanted

    Overall I enjoyed far cry 6. But I also loved 4 and 5. If you expect the same gameplay you pretty much get that. The story is pretty interesting and the protagonist is likeable. Chorizo is my favourite amigo. Taking out outposts with him is a blast. Also cant wait for the blood dragon dlc . The game does have some issues though. Like texture pop in mostly when driving fast or doingOverall I enjoyed far cry 6. But I also loved 4 and 5. If you expect the same gameplay you pretty much get that. When I play a game I like to listen to npc conversations. Upon entering one of the main camps, 2 charecters have a conversation. One talking about how he is gay. Her of course replying about her wife. I was waiting for the " hello fellow gays" guy to show up. We get it and theres no need. So obviously inserted on behalf of groups and agenda driven people.     Great setting, good story and fun gameplay! And if you dont like health bars or a compass, just customize the hud.

    The PS4 version looks great! A good end of a the last gen consoles.

    Had a lot of fun playing far cry 3,4 and 5. The a.i in part 6 is a bit buggy enemies also keep on spawning out of nothing. First missions are a bit boring and i miss the old system of leveling up. But still I had fun finishing the game especially the missions near the end of freeiing a zone.

    Im really enjoying this i have to say! Its like a FPS just cause which i love. It looks great and so much to do. Played every far cry so far and this is up there as one of my favorites.

    Far Cry 6 is a 20 hour ffirst person shooter where you play as either male or female version of Dani Rojas because ubisoft cant commit to a story.. and this is ultimately Far Cry 6’s downfall, at first I was in love with Far Cry 6, having a Far Cry 3 feel.. the beginning island was so detailed and memorable, Iwas having a blas doing the beginning missions, and then the game opened up about 3 hours or so in and wow did it feel like the soul left the body of this game.. here your goal is to take down el president Anton Castillo, and much like the previous far cry game, to get to him you have to take down targets around him to expose him for an attack.. however unlike Far Cry 5, nothing o nyour journey to take him down stood out…
    Far Cry 6 reminding me a lot of Just cause 3, in that while youre in this massive world, everything felt pretty cookie cutter generic.. and unlike just cause 3 the weapons weren’t crazy enough to keep fully entertained and there weren’t great story pieces pulling me through… just the same stuff over and over again, get to the spot on the map, deal with checkpoint along the way, take them over for future fast travl points, get back to the mission, kill all the people there.. thankfully youll unlock pets such as a crocodile or puppy to help along the way to attack and distract, but kill all the nemies, or find a key card so you can enter a building to throw a switch, or kill al the enemies and hack a computer which is just you guarding It while a percentage meter fills, over and over and over.. again no great story piece or story telling within the actual campaign except maybe couple of times.. really exposing the games bloat, I felt like I was doing side missions through most of the campaign.. I know box numbers are imorptant to people spending 60 to 70 dollars on a game, I get that.. but I would prefer and epic 12 hours over a mediocre repetitive 20.. I would even be fine having to level up to unlock those story missions and feel an urge to liberate the island and find weapons, if the grind didn’t feel obnoxious and get in the way of my play… maybe I have to capture a certain amount of enemy bases… if that means I get some story missions with some effort rather than feel like an algorithm developed the game.. Ill take it…
    Overall Far Cry 6 had its moments that made me laugh or moments of me actually having fun, but for the most part I felt lke I was just going through the motions of a soulless shooter, chasing credits rather than chasing the next epic event around the next corner..
    Far Cry 6 is a good shooter, it is brimming with things to do and weapons to find, you can even play with friends… but wow does this game do nothing memorable.

Вся карта завалена всякими точками интереса и доп. квестами, контента много (очень однообразного контента).

The crafting evolution is noticeably out of New Dawn except there is much more to do at the workbench. The different kinds of ammo and targets make it too specific to carry a desired load out. Player will need to spend more time farming for resources. Player will need to spend time in a workbench to sort out what to use for the next quest. Regardless of the negative I love this game. The player gets a chance to get more powerful weapons eventually. The story is amazing so far. The map is beautifully crafted. Enemies are a bit tougher than other games at first.… Expand

PS4 may be old but ubisoft in their disgusting laziness are making it look like a ps1, how can crisis on standard settings look better than 2021 farcry?, The craft weapons are a gameplay mechanic nobody likes, worse still they are done in such a way as to make the weapons look and feel ugly. The guards are non ai bullet sponges, the level designs are a mess, button presses are hit and miss, mostly miss, and the water looks like its just painted with a blue marker, how did they get away with this? If this absolute **** garbage game is all ubisoft has left in the tank then they are done as a studio. A note to the graphics designers specifically: you should be embarrassed by this game, for you to call yourselves graphics designers while delivering what looks like a ps2 game on ps4 hardware should make you ashamed to call this absolute s**t, a “creation” its more like some S**t you have thrown at a wall and kept what stuck.     Far Cry is (was) my favorite franchise of games. I didn't like Far Cry 5 much and was hoping this would be better. After playing 5 hours, I can't believe they even released this mess of a game. The whole world feels dead. Nothing makes me want to go out and explore like previous games. Playing Far Cry 3 again and loving it. Hopefully, someone will buy this worthless game from me on Ebay.

На стволы можно навесить разные модули, за местный хлам. Вот и все улучшения. Твоя главная задача поднять свой ранг, что бы проходить более высокоуровневые миссии как в Boardriders. Вообще проходить доп. задания не нужно, пустая трата времени. Так как ранг поднимется и от основных миссий + захват всяких блокпостов и грузов. Зато теперь вся игра завалена каким то хламом, железом, топливом и ломом. Всё это надо для открытия новых модулей оружия и строительства баз (смысла этого строительства я так и не понял). К концу игры скопились тысячи штук этой хрени, тратить было не на что.
    Сюжет шаблонен, и опять таки похож на какой нибудь Just Cause. Есть строгий диктатор который не разрешает мочится с крыши на головы людей. Короче вы не можете терпеть такие ограничения и свергаете его. Но меня порадовала концовка - серьёзно, жестоко, как в жизни. Да ещё одно, больше половины наших друзей погибнет, что добавляет реализма войне. Но к сожалению 90% всей игры это тупые забеги, заезды, зачистки.
    Из вышесказанного ясно, что Far Cry 6 почти потерял своё лицо.
    Атмосфера более менее держет, хотя Dunia Engine v2 уже с трудом тянет открытый мир с такой графикой.
    Есть и нововведение, это супрэмо. Такой типа рюкзак с разным назначением, ракетами, эми зарядом и т. д. Это просто панацея от вертолётов и танков. Да ещё наш протагонист ожил и обрел дар речи.
    И конечно баги. Некоторые задания становятся просто не проходимыми. Приходится игру перезапускать. О этот огонь, он вернулся прямяком из Far Cry 2. Горит всё: трава, земля, деревья, камни. Этот огонь не потушить. Ужастно раздражает. Ещё из двойки вернулась супер горелка которой можно всё чинить. А из четверки супер вертолётик на котором можно везде летать. Есть парашют и вингсьют, оба полный отстой.
    Чуть не забыл, феминизм льётся с экрана водопадом. Просто со смеха помираешь когда какая нибудь семнадцатилетняя сиповка взводом мужиков командует. Все бабы героические лидеры, а все мужики либо трУсы, либо подлецы, либо нытики, либо упрямые ослы.
    Но почему Ubisoft выбросила на помойку все наработки предыдущих частей? Да по тому, что игру делали совершенно другие люди. Не Ubisoft Montreal которая делала 3ю, 4ю и 5ю части, а Ubisoft Toronto. И для неё это сольный дебют. На мой взгляд не очень удачный.    … Expand

    Far Cry 6 is not as good as FC5, but is better than FC New Dawn.
    It's still a bit glitchy & buggy, especially when driving or flying.
    The amigos didn't work as well as it did in FC5, they're not as useful. I did enjoy immersing myself in the Caribbean island culture and atmosphere, music was fun too. Plot was a bit boring.     While the graphics, voice acting, gameplay and music are all good, the story, characters, map and missions are not. Everyone is a caricature in this game, all huge personalities who are joking constantly despite horrible things happening around them. The map is once again a huge sandbox in a tropical setting with lush greenery and vast bodies of water, it's getting old.     The game itself isn't bad, has a decent plot, good characters (awesome villian played by Giancarlo Esposito) and nice graphics.

A lot of reviews I am reading are all about how this game is the 'same as the other Far Cry games' - and well yeah - of course it is guys it's a Far Cry game ! As a fan of the series I am nothing but pleased with Far Cry 6 and found it to be utterly enjoyable and engaging. I hammered out the game a little too fast but completed everything - and I enjoyed every second of it. I highly recommend this to anyone who was a fan of any of the previous games. It was shorter and less monotonous than 4, had the awesome setting of 3 and the excellent mechanics and graphics of 5. As far as glitches and weird stuff goes I did experience some pretty funny physics glitches and the occasional mid-air enemy spawn .. but that didn't ruin my game and honestly if this sort of stuff 'ruins your immersion' then maybe you need to get outside a bit. I had very little pop-in textures or late loading graphics ( only when I was in a vehicle going really fast ) and the game looked , worked and played exceptionally well. During my play through I think my game crashed twice - which is almost nothing when compared to other open world games. If you haven't been a fan of the Far Cry series so far then don't look here for anything new , meanwhile established fans will certainly enjoy Far Crying their way through the beautiful new setting and using the supremo to take down choppers or whole squads. For me this was overall a positive experience and one that I was very happy to play. Now for a bit regarding the abundance of 'complaints' about all the LGBQT characters and content in this game .. get over it guys - it's 2021 and I think after decades of man on man video games we can allow other perspectives to creep into the gaming world. Let's focus on open minds and open worlds , not closed minds stuck to rusty old rails. That said it is impossible to avoid the political agenda in this game - and to those who are uncomfortable with female heroes or homosexuality in general you will probably struggle with many of the characters in this game - as they are not the stereotypical puffed up super males or barely dressed overly endowed waifus that gamers have feasted their eyes on since games began. The push to highlight alternate lifestyles in this game has shaken a lot of gamers - they can't grasp it - they don't want it - and many are being really harsh about it. I am not LGBQT but i do know many people who are and I can't help but feel that hating on the alt characters in Far Cry is kinda sad and scared and even a little impotent. Personally I always play the female option in all games when there is one - since I'd rather look at a her than a him on the screen any day. Final words - it was really nice to get this game and have it work right out the box and deliver the experience it was claiming - a rare thing in gaming these days. I look forward to the upcoming dlc and will definitely be playing it.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Far Cry 6 is a mediocre installment to the series in my opinion. Plenty of dialogue that has no impact on the story or makes any sense. The main focal point of the story doesn't really get the attention it deserves. Let's start with the good

    - Graphically the game plays great on the PS4 didn't experience any serious issues. Nothing was really upgraded for Far Cry 5 in terms of graphics which is fine since I enjoyed the graphics of that game.
    - The location of Yara; which is obviously heavily inspired by Cuba, has great scenery. I enjoyed being able to fly around the country in helicopters and seeing the environment
    - The gameplay is obviously why we all bought the game. The formula hasn't really changed through each installation of the series and that's what makes it so successful. Plenty of weapons, vehicles and armor to cause mayhem.
    Now for the bad:

    - The AI was not very good for both enemies and allies. You could walk in front of a soldier with a LMG pointed at their face and they would take way to long to notice or engage you. As far as your allies go they are very lacking in the support department. All of your amigos (what they call allies) are animals in this game. They would constantly need to be told who to attack and wouldn't do it on their own unless all hell was breaking loose and an entire magazine was being empties into them. One thing that annoyed me was when animals attacked you your amigos would just chase the animal that attacked you but never attacked said animal.
    - Dialogue that did not add to the story was common. We all know woke ideology is becoming too common in media and that includes video games. One of the main characters is names Paolo and is a woman that wants to be a man. Toward the beginning of the game a field surgeon talks about how Paolo had a double mastectomy without anesthesia; implying that somehow makes her a bad ass. It was early on in the game so I figured maybe this would tie in somehow which it didn't. Another example is the subtle end the patriarchy message in the game. One of the characters in the legends had you give 10 of his illegitimate children an apology letter. When you complete the mission the mission giver tells you to end the patriarchy in new Yara. It just seemed unnecessary and out of place for the story since one of the most powerful antagonist in the game is a woman. Gay characters are all over the place and play a big part of the resistance and at first glance you think maybe the antagonist is killing or imprisoning gay people because of some anti gay agenda...... wrong that never comes up so again adds nothing and makes no sense to the story.
    - I did experience a bug that caused me to die as if I was falling after landing and exiting a helicopter. Didn't happen often but enough to be annoying
    - The story seems uninspired and a reskin of the same generic communist dictator controls a country. If they would have focused on the rare tobacco leaf that essentially caused the antagonist to be the power figure he is more than all the random woke talking points it would have been more polished.

    Overall I give this game a 6 out of 10. If you are looking for a game that has a solid story combined with the game play we all know and love you will be disappointed. Fortunately the game is already hitting clearance shelves or constantly being on sale. I picked this up for $25 which in my opinion was worth it for a game I sunk like 30 hours in. Hopefully the next installment will be more story driven instead of inserting random talking points that have nothing to do with what is going on. Pick it up on a deal or borrow it from a friend if you really want to play the game.    … Expand

However, the game convinced me otherwise right from the first few hours. The game offers a typical Far Cry formula - the villain is literally the most important character here, you are here to free Yara from the tyrannical rule of Anton Castillo.Far Cry Primal, Far Cry 5, Far Cry New Dawn... All these games were not particularly good, so you can guess what I expected from Far Cry 6. However, the game convinced me otherwise right from the first few hours. The game offers a typical Far Cry formula - the villain is literally the most important character here, you are here to free Yara from the tyrannical rule of Anton Castillo. But the Far Cry formula isn't necessarily bad, it just keeps repeating itself. The gameplay is not crazy revolutionary compared to the previous works, but it somehow takes everything from the five and makes it even better. So the gameplay here is insanely fun and despite the monstrous playing time, it's not hard to enjoy this game. Graphically, the game moved decently for me. It actually looks a lot better than the five and New Dawn. The new animations, such as for finishing the enemy from behind in stealth, are insanely good and realistically conceived. The arsenal of weapons is extremely extensive, and choosing a weapon for you will not be easy at all due to such a large selection. But we'll stay with weapons for a while. Imagine that you are going to shoot up some hotel full of Anton's soldiers. You're running out of ammo so you kill one of the soldiers and want to take his weapon. ERROR The game doesn't allow you to do this. The weapon can roll on the ground, but you don't pick it up. IT CAN'T. This is a very stupid design for me and I did not expect that such a small thing can change the gameplay and the feeling of the game. What about the villain? is it usable or is he at least better than Mickey and Lou...? Wrong is absolutely brilliant. Normally, I didn't expect that Ubisoft would write such a good villain whose goals and actions you basically understand, especially after you learn one important thing (I don't want to spoil it). Of course, he's not the second Vaas and probably not even Pagan, but he's still a great villain who fits beautifully into this games. Unfortunately, I have another illogicality and that is... You can't jump in a camp or a base. Like WHY Ubisoft? Give one good reason WHY. Again, it's just a small detail, but it still turns me on. I'm not even talking about the fact that the moment you reach the base, the game switches to third person mode. Just WHY. The last would-be minus that comes to mind is the unnecessarily large map. Recently, Ubisoft has been trying to go for quantity rather than quality, which is a shame, but at the same time, I was almost never bored with this game. The characters are fun and I even liked some of them. They mostly have good lines and even chemistry with main character Dani Rojas, so when one of them dies it's sadder than you'd expect. The music is amazing, you literally feel like you're really somewhere on an island in the Caribbean, whether it's playing in the car or simply during a mission, it's great and sometimes you're even grooving xD. Another thing I can "criticize" is the AI of the soldiers is really terrible. They're blind, they just overlook you and go somewhere else entirely. However, I can't take it completely as a minus because this is in every Far Cry I've ever played. To sum it up: This is a typical Far Cry formula, but it's certainly not bad. The gameplay is basically what we wanted after the fifth part, the graphics are definitely on a better level than the previous games and it looks pretty good even for its year of release, the arsenal of weapons is bigger than I expected which is definitely great, Záporák is better than Joseph for me Seed and Mickey and Lou together , The characters are definitely fun to listen to and have an interesting role in the story and the music creates a great feeling especially when you're driving in the car and Bella Ciao is playing on the radio :D On the other hand, you can't pick up the weapons from the ground, maybe the game is unnecessary huge, you can't jump in the camp and it gets a third person view and the AI is just as stupid. I would say that I enjoyed the game more than enough and I recommend it at least to all fans of the series...… Expand

    Far Cry is now officially a Just Cause knock-off. There’s a grappling hook, a wingsuit, plenty of vehicles with universally poor handling, a huge open world and a dumb story with one-dimensional dictator. It wouldn’t be too bad by itself, but the gameplay is also a lot slower than in JC, turning every potentially fun activity into a chore. [Issue#256, p.32]

    Far Cry 6 offers an adventure similar to the previous chapters but on a larger scale thanks to the virtues of the new generation of consoles, with hardly any changes in the playable and certain bugs that obscure the final result of a long and entertaining title.
