    This game was such a let down. Definitely not worth the $60 that I paid for it. Within the first two games of I knew it was going to be boring and not much to do. It's the same repetitious gameplay as the monster. Run like hell in your first two levels and eat as much as you can, and become nearly unstoppable by the time you get to your final evolution.     Im really glad I did not buy this game… a cosign of mine did and he was pissed, so I gave it a try to see for my self… and its true. Destiny aint got **** on Evolve. This piece of **** should have been free to play with the lack of content.

    Its boring from the beginning to the end, you have to follow an space dog kinda thing to find the tank… I mean.. the monster.     Day one dlc is unacceptable for something that should have been included on the disk

    The gunplay is boring and stale and loses its edge after an hour of playing.

    This game is Destiny all over again, and it's sad. Avoid it completely or if you did buy it, trade in your copy for another game.

    I have chosen to not purchase this game. Reason being all of the negative feedback on your DLC model. You have stepped into EA territory with trying to drain consumers wallets. Destiny will also go down a doomed path except for LOYAL fans. While DLC should be used to "Add-On" to the base experience in the future, it should not be an option to enjoying what should be a complete game likeI have chosen to not purchase this game.     imagine the monster is invisible and you only can avoid it by reading foot prints and broken bushes, you need to be very close, because there is an hidden enemy out there. every 5 or 10 minutes he can be invisible and can kill one of your group.who will be the next? can you survive or hunt it down? that game would be amazing, but instead they created a comic game dlc milk the cow fest. for me its disney's adventures of the gummi bears because everyone is jumping and flying around, this game feels and plays really bad, there is no long term motivation.
    its not ultra bad that they created an alternative to a zombie survival (left for dead), but the long-term motivation can not be maintained without their dlc policy. if you dont buy dlcs maps and monster the game become really quick very boring, the gameplay isnt the best.
    please why didnt they just create another left for dead game or a nice hunt and stealth game like in the "predator" movie. matchmaking is bad aswell. for me evolve is a dissapointment.    … Expand

The problem w/ asymmetry, at least in this game, is that individual player skill dictates the outcome of the game too drastically- staying alive and playing well matters a bit less in games designed for balanced teams. Either you play with friends, or the game is a far too often a nightmare of frustration. Also, the game in general is, well, too frequently a sci-fi sprinting simulator. It might seem not so bad to watch, but playing it sucks. Total resident sleeper. Combat is flashy, but not deep (as either hunter or monster). Modes didn't feel all that special to me, I really wish there was a monster vs monster at release. Honestly though, my biggest beef with this game is that there simply was not enough content to justify the price. The game felt stripped and empty. Not necessarily for dlc purposes, mind you, but hollow nonetheless. Unlike others who expect readers to simply take their word for it (as though some content isn't valued subjectively) I urge any potential consumer to investigate more into what the game has to offer for its price. As is now, I'm giving this game the lowest score possible b/c if that's the price this game is to sell for, where is my other 3/4 content? Missing to be supplemented l8r as if I'm being treated?     For 60 bucks you get a multiplayer only game. They had that beta test and the game still has major bugs on all platforms, but its ok because they were too busy pay walling the crap out of this game to fix anything. Seriously go on the Xbox or Playstation marketplaces and look at how much stuff they cut out of the game and turned into DLC at release! Evolves not even a week old and it hasFor 60 bucks you get a multiplayer only game.     I have looking forward to this game, (due to the severely slow and limited choices for PS4), for several months now. The worst part is the company gave a pre warning that critics would try and falsely bash the review score and encouraged that its not a true reflection of the game. well, IT IS, what a load of garbage.     Director says its going to be free to play, franchise gets transferred to 2k. They claim there will be no DLC at release. Okay... $200 DLC at release

    Bad broken poorly executed gameplay. Bugs, bugs, bugs. Invincible shields, spawning as a random critter incapable of attacking. I've fallen through the ground countless times.

    Each update makes the game worse, as if they had a complete game that they took parts out, polished the rest, and with every piece they put back, new issues arise. I especially dislike how the framerate can sometimes drop to 1 for no reason... on a console. The acknowledged bug list went two months after release without being updated. This is the most critical time to let the community know you're working hard on bug squashing, instead the bug list went completely ignored... for two months. Please tell me how they're supposed to fix bugs if they're not even acknowledging them. It gets worse...

    And you're like, well the game is only a year old, surely they're going to keep working on it... No. Just no, because Turtle Rock has already begun hiring for a new unannounced IP that will NOT have anything to do with Evolve. A year later and the developers have already abandoned this game.

    I spent $85 on this game at release, $60 for the game and $25 for the season pass, not including tax. Three months later I traded it into Gamestop for $8. The cashier said, "I'm surprised you lasted this long".

    I am not a multiplayer guy but i though give this game a chance... God!! No!!! 60 dollars for a unfinished game! Really!!! the maps looks all the same and looks like a running simulator. Of course this game has its moments but in the end it is a truly deception!

    This is probably the worst game I have played in a long long time. It could have been great but there are only 4 main characters and in the first hour of playing I could only choose two missions. Definitely a title not worth the $60. The environment is nice however but this again like the rest was over hyped and fell flat on it's face. This game gets old after about 10 minutes. Shameful way to milk the players without offering enough in exchange for such steep price.

    You just tried tp sell us a car, 2K Games. It doesn't have the windows, upper body or seats. but hey, it has the engine and can drive if you just duck there, see? But if we pay you more money, you shall provide us with the remaining parts. Not cool, guys, not cool.

    This game is very cool and innovative kappa. U can't even 420 noscope in this game. The monsters don't even lift. Overall GG, but it lacks the MLG sustenance. If it had some MLG elements like the ability to noscope monsters, I would rate it 8/8 m8. Don't buy this.

    This game have so much dept in it! It might be tough for beginner but its the type of game where its hard to master but once you master it, its a lot of fun. This game is indeed very challenging against human player at first, but its also very satisfying when you manage to outsmart them, Great game overall !

    Evolve is simply a hit and miss having played the game for hours I can see where the developers wanted to go with the game but unfortunately they fell just short of making this game a success.

    As for the multiplayer aspect it adds a bit of fun but just like the solo experience the multilayer experience gets boring and repetitive very quickly as there are a limited amount of maps allowing for a minimal amount of things to do.

    Evolve at the end of the day ends up as a mediocre with a mediocre score the game simply is more of a miss than a hit and it could have done with more time in development    … Expand

    The concept itself, a team of hunters with different abilities attempting to track down and kill a monster, is potentially a good one but in this case it simply doesn't work. After an overly protracted tutorial mission my brother and I joined up with a few other random players online and then spent the first few games running around in circles trying to keep up with the monster before eventually being killed by its final evolved form. Hoping it was just down to our lack of experience we pushed on but many missions later it was the same old story, basically run around in circles of 15 minutes until the monster is fully evolved and then stand there firing bullet after bullet hoping to kill it. Occasionally we'd win, but either way every mission just played out in almost identical fashion and within a few days we'd both lost interest.

    Maybe if you could find a regular group of five people to play with you'd get more out of it but my experience with the game was a frustrating and short live one.    … Expand

    I bought this past Saturday for a birthday present to myself and played it about 5 hours. While there were brief moments of greatness(Being a stealthy monster as human controlled players ran all around me unaware) those moments were brief and to me it became the same process over and over.     Absolute trash, no content what so ever. I was really hype for this game when it came out but it was just so lackluster i wanted to punch someone. I blame this on the developer and more on the publisher.

    On the paper this game is a killer, when you play it, u realise the game play is too much limited to not be repetitive on average 15/40 minutes match time length, as well the huge maps offers not enough interactions with the hunters, which could be for example: destructible parts of the rocks/buildings.     Evolve is the biggest let down of 2015 and in gaming in general. The game suffers from serious pacing issues, making allot of the matches boring within 5 minutes. No campaign, no substance to gameplay, no originality with the monsters and most of all, no fun. The game is clearly lacking in content, turtle rock studio have clearly created a free to play game and charged you full price forEvolve is the biggest let down of 2015 and in gaming in general.     Turtle Rocks 'Evolve' creative director Robb Phil stated "When Evolve hits the shelves; none of the DLC will be done". "However, Evolve launched with 44 DLC packs not included in the season pass... Each of these packs totaled over $130!"

    This game is as mediocre/poor as most of the user review say. Looks good, but handles poorly and lacks content and replay value. The game mechanics seem old, outdated and sluggish.

    Specially the monsters are disappointing in this game. Only 3 monsters to chose between from the start!

    So lacklustre single player content, basic multiplayer, and unvaried gameplay results in a game that should've been a free to play title with incoming content. Kind of like a beta (think Natural Selection) game, IMO.    … Expand

    Got this game on sale through the PS store, WOW, I have to say I am so disappointed, reading all the critic reviews about this game I was expecting something a lot better, after playing through all of the confusing and boring tutorials I finally got into the multiplayer and within 20 minutes I was sick of the game.     Pretty poor in all departments. I played this for one day and never turned it back on again, Complete waste of money, Would not recommend even for free.

    Somewhat fun game when it lasted, failed to keep anyone interested in the long-term. Obscene al la carté DLC practices (aside from the death of the game) makes this is the worst thing I have ever purchased. Ever.

    Should have been free to play.

    This game deserves the name Walking Simulator, considering this is how you will spent 90% of your time.     This game deserves the name Walking Simulator, considering this is how you will spent 90% of your time. You will be chasing after the monster player, which could go on for 20 minutes or even longer, at which point he/she will be level 3, and you will die inevitably. The balance between monsters and hunters is way off, as some hunters are clearly defenceless in some cases. As the medic you'll be the most valuable player, but it won't mean anything is your teammates don't defend you.

    This is the game that managed to promise and deliver emptiness like Destiny did. It has no single player, a tacky fake campaign and just 4 modes. Apart from Hunt, no one even plays the other ones.

    The good points: Graphics are excellent, and bugs are very rare. Probably because the game is so empty of meaning.

    And finally, the DLC is just pathetic. Trying cram in paid skins in a game you already paid 60 bucks for. Absolutely shameless.

    This game was a massive disappointment, and just a lazy attempt at making a game in general. I felt cheated out of my money. I rate this game bad, it gets a 4/10.    … Expand

    El peor juego que he jugado en ps4 con diferencia, juego aburrido, gráficos malos, no existe modo campaña prácticamente y el online desapareció hace mucho, simplemente un desastre.
