    Manipulation. Manipulation. Manipulation. This is the game in a nutshell. Weather you play offline or online most of the time you have no control over the actions. It is the most frustrating game I have ever played. If you are a casual player, great. You start playing and Konami looks after you.     Somehow Konami keep making Pes worse and worse with each new edition. The game is fully scripted, no control of outcome of the match. Do not recommend

    - Half the normal double-tap tackles are fouls even when the ball is won but instances when a player is shoved to ground are legal - When a user switches to a defender chasing an opposition player, the user’s defender will pause for a split-second, break his momentum and thus allow the opposition    - Inexplicably misplaced passes

    - Players that lose the ball will stand and watch instead of moving in the direction of the ball to try to recover it - Players with high stats like Ronaldo will slip when taking a straightforward shot

    Games are scripted, gameplay is boring and you cannot turn off the replays which is annoying.

    Everytime you play against strong teams the game automatically put them in advantage, with scary own goals, they winning every ball dispute, and your defensors become the most stupid ones as npc’s! Oh also you fowards loose goals that when you are playing weaker adversary’s, they never lose! KONAMI EVERYTHING WE WANT IS A FAIR GAME!

    Konami had an opportunity to take the lead in football game genre. Sadly they were more interested in manipulating and frustrating players for a quick buck (myclub). The engine is pretty good and when the game just let's you play (without the insane scripting/handicapping/momentum/whatever) it can be a lot of fun. I just can't bring myself to play it anymore. It literally feels when playing pes2021 like there is a little troll in the playstation that's trying to get you as frustrated and miserable as possible, just to get you to spend some cash to strengthen your team. Which are useless since the pes troll decides whether your players will do anything right on the pitch.

    Ну что тут можно сказать, игра не становится лучше из года в год... раздражающий ИИ, из-за тупейших ошибок которого невозможно нормально играть, переходит из игры в игру... В общем, я не могу больше в это играть...

    Онлайн режим отстой, судейство полный бред. При игре в мяч судья дает желтую карточку. Гандикап в онлайне решает. Отскоки мяча только в одну сторону, простейшие пасы не проходят, тупейший ИИ, когда мяч катится рядом с игроком, но он даже не бежит к нему. Задержка отклика при нажатии.     Ставлю единицу, играю с 2007 года, pes 2021 просто параша. Невозможно представить как они сделали ТАКОЕ ГАВНО?! КАК? У меня уже все сгорело, поиграйте онлайн, там тупость компьютерного "интеллекта" который "помогает" тебе стремится к бесконечности. Это Ад. Несколько болезненных примеров:
    1) Твои игроки в упор не видят мяча, который лежит перед их ногами, вместо того чтобы выбить его на    Ставлю единицу, играю с 2007 года, pes 2021 просто параша.     2) Не часто, но бывает, что на тебя может наткнуться свой же игрок, просто бежит на перерез и сбивает тебя, мяч потерян.
    3) Переключение на игроков полностью рандомное, переключается именно на того, на кого не нужно.    … Expand

    Не покупайте игру! Сохраните свои деньги, из года в гож становится хуже и хуже, онлайн мертвейший с самого старта, ИИ максимально подкруенный, скриптов тут стало больше чем в фифе.

    Made the switch from Fifa a week ago, I prefer the gameplay of PES but my god the online is frustrating, my team chem is 99 but plays like -99, my players can hardly play a pass ended not winning in twenty games so deleted the game, my club is garbage and is worse than FUT, back to Fifa i go, sigh

    I am surprised at how much better this is than the 2020 version. More measured gameplay, less rigid attack patterns, crossing actually works too now. You can really feel the individual attributes of each player.

    Não tinha esperança nenhuma, só comprei por causa das atualizações dos elencos. Jogo muito bom. Fluido. Claramente uma cópia da DEMO do 2020, que estava muito boa.

    10/10.

    I didn't have any hope, I just bought it because of the squad updates. Very good game. Fluid gameplay. Clearly a copy of the 2020 DEMO, which was very good.

Konami stuck to a focus, a plan, and it all comes together. Sure those who like new sparkles, and non game fluff will not be happy, as nothing fundamentally changes there, as Konami were honest about (check the title). But on the pitch. The finalIts about Gameplay, Gameplay, Gameplay. Years of tuning, untuning, incremental changes finally coming to a full and complete football experience. Konami stuck to a focus, a plan, and it all comes together. Sure those who like new sparkles, and non game fluff will not be happy, as nothing fundamentally changes there, as Konami were honest about (check the title). But on the pitch. The final 1% tuning - its the difference between thoroughbred and nag, ferraris and ford (except GT40 of course). This is a game that rewards you for learning how to play it properly, because when you score a goal you remember it, like you are on the pitch yourself. Its Japanese culture - detailed, precise, complex embodied in the best football gaming experience. Those in the community that supported this game over the years of frustration have spoken, read their reviews if you want to see what it is all about. Well done Konami.… Expand

    It may just be a season update for pes 20, but it's still an even more improved version and game play seems more fluid and a.i. is improved. Keep up the great work Konami, Pes is much Better than fifa at this point and with the option files installed pes has all the clubs which I love. Thanks Konami. And thanks pes Univers.

    Perfect gameplay, thats really matters. No problem by licences, just install a option file via USB and we have all leagues.

    It is simply the best soccer simulator out there. Real movements, reactions, the players are very well recreated and they have polished everything that the users asked for. VIVA PES!

    Having played every single entry in this series since the PS1 days, I can say this is one of the worst entries to date and most certainly the worst release of the past 5 years.

    First of all, it's a season update so if you own PES 2020, stick to it. The changes in gameplay have made the game worse than the previous vesion that was already a bit of a scripted mess after the last patches.     The "update" itself is a joke. Most teams and leagues have not been updated at all. Certainly if you play a smaller league team, the roster will be unchanged from the starting roster of PES2020. I understood this will be patched at some point but what is the use of launching an update if the update has not been done? There are no cosmetic changes worth mentioning compared to the 2020 version.

    Most game modes are unchanged and remain as unsupported as they have been for years.
    My club is more or less the only mode that receives attention.

    The my club gameplay however is held back by the total lack of defensive AI and heavy scripted gameplay. A lot of players just spam lofted through balls from deep - hope you get Beckham from the Legends - and often these simple over the top balls will create a one on one with the keeper as your defender sometimes turns into a dummy doll that trips or just decides he will run in the opposite direction the attacker is running. I've played over 100 online games since launch and I think 90 of them started a kickoff passing back to long pass specialist that then kicked the ball with a long through ball hoping AI would grant him a goal.

    Switching players also often results in the newly controlled player to react like somebody who just woke up and doesn't realise he was in a football match doing things like stopping mid-run, take a step in the wrong direction creating space for your opponent,...

    And what I find very disappointing, as this has been great in the past, is the individual feel of players. Some players with high acceleration scores feel sluggish. Strong players sometimes feel weak.

    Just to be clear. I'm a fan of the series and FIFA has dropped the ball so bad over the last few years so this is most likely still the best option if you want to play a game of football. But if that's what you're after, stick to PES2020 or pick up the free version that will no doubt release around the start of the year. Maybe future patches will improve the game but at this point, this feels like a half-finished game and KONAMI grabbing some money from what is left of their fanbase.    … Expand

    The word ''update'' perfectly describes not only this edition of the game but probably the last five titles in a row. Then again, PES remains to be a good, license lacking simulation. The price is fair but the wait is real, as we are already looking forward to the new installment that will shake things up a bit, after a long wait.
