When I bought this game I didn't expect much. However surprisingly enough I stayed with it from start to finish. There is a lot of different stuff to do to keep you occupied which is great because I tend to lose interest very easily if things get too repetitive. However a help tutorial that saved game tips in the system menu would have been helpful because there are times when it tells youWhen I bought this game I didn't expect much. There is a lot of different stuff to do to keep you occupied which is great because I tend to lose interest very easily if things get too repetitive. However a help tutorial that saved game tips in the system menu would have been helpful because there are times when it tells you stuff early in the game that you can't do yet then later when you can do it you may forget about it. The dear ghost that you chase was frustrating at 1 point because it seems like you can only access him once a night and since you were limited on how often you could sleep you sometimes had to wait a good while before attempting it again. If there wasn't a limit on how often you could sleep this probably would not have been an issue for me. This frustrated me only in one area on Vulcan where the deer can be very hard to chase down because of obstructions. Another thing that kind of frustrated me later in the game is some game trophies that did not pop like treasure digger and perfect timing and when I was fishing off of docks & would fish til all the fish were gone, the water would still be still bubbling and when I checked my map the green fish icon for that area did not appear. I did not have this problem when I fished off of land instead of docks so because of these issues I obviously did not get the perfect interest trophy as well. Hopefully these issues will get fixed in updates however I was bummed that I could not get 100% completion for this game because I tend to be a perfectionist on such things. Overall a great game and worth the $20 I invested in it Expand

Dysmantle is an interesting survival game with good rpg and craft elements. It can be played in local coop. The game has great art style and level design as well as mechanics which are very thorough.

But the game lacks depth in lore, characters and story which has a very simple goal but after every minor success, a new problem that will prevent you from succeeding emerges from nowhere

The reason why I give it six is due to the last objective (1 minute before credits) that requires you to use base-defend gadgets which can be obtained by completing grindy side missions but until this point you could do just fine without them. So that feels like a foul trick to me.
