    I really liked dying light but the following was very short but 10 times better then the main game...... its worth a buy the ending is superb and I really like the fairly unpredictable plot twists

    There is a misunderstanding when a game that gives more for the player to do, that it instantly is deemed only a pro without understanding how well done the content is. Dying Light's definitive version is one that only zombie fanatics and those that have friends on with them alot will find the most enjoyment in the game. The gameplay is good, but the challenge and merit is too simple even on harder difficulties once you obtain powerful weapons. The game is simply "another zombie game" that doesn't push anything forward or tries anything creative that many zombie games have done. This is not to say it sucks, but it's disappointing how some people think that adding more means its more value when really it can actually dilute it instead. The Following expansion and other DLC is lackluster and ultimately forgettable, which doesn't bold well with the base game already having a crowded foundation that has nowhere to grow organically. With weak add-ons and a flawed base game, the definitive version becomes more niche than it would like.… Expand

    One of the best games I've ever played. The only thing I'd have improved was the story, specifically the relationship between Kyle and Jade. It would have made "certain" scenes more impactful.

    The Gore Level shown in dying light and its DLCs should be industry standard, (wink @ Ubisoft !!!). chopping off heads and limbs, hacking bodys in 2 parts , blood spurting from decapitated torsos and the likes. Hats off guys, just plain awesome...anybody who hates this politically correct censorship in video games nowadays ought to buy the game just for that reason !

    Graphics are real beautiful, short loading times, no performance issues, great story, i could go on and on. Almost flawless game, the looting and lockpicking gets a little much sometimes but thats really the only dowside u could possibly ever find. Masterpiece, goes into the collection !    … Expand

    This is on of the Best DLC i've ever seen. It's really incredible mechanics, artificial intelligence is powerful on the game. Also Dying Light it's a beautiful game. Thanks for the amazing game.

    I started the game a little skeptical. Once a huge zombie fan, I've played Dead Island as well. I won't say they were bad, but a few glitches in the cinematics and the style weren't my cup of tea. This game though, beautiful, beautiful Dying light made me fall in love with the genre again. It brough tme back to the glory days of RE: 4. I love the free running, and then tense chaseI started the game a little skeptical. Once a huge zombie fan, I've played Dead Island as well. There are usually ways to avoid fighting is well, which is a nice approach. My biggest "YES!!" moments though, were the tense atmosphere in the hotels, hospital, and any other small areas. Lighting is incredible, and I found my flashlight to be a close friend as I traversed The Slums, The Sewers, and Old Old Town alike. Techland, please keep making games like these.     I'm pretty tired of zombies but this is the best zombie game since Dead Rising. The graphics are very beautiful and detailed and the gameplay is precise and rewarding. I also enjoyed the story.

I played both dead island games and dying light is a huge improvement upon dead island. I am a little shamed of myself to truly enjoy this game just for pure fun gameplay.. I don't care about the voice acting and the characters... I found them stupidly fun, even the story is enjoyable for me. They added a better level system and day-night cycles which are so scary. I first played the game on hard but I cannot survive a minute in the night time so I changed to normal. It is still challenging and scary sometimes.... imo, dying light is so much better than dead island, which I recommend to everyone who likes zombie games..... I know the game has tons of obvious flaws, but I dont think I have this much fun playing a video game. I got addicted badly and played around 100 hours to finish everything in the base game and the dlc, ;the game has tons of missions and things to do...this is one of the most fun games I played!… Expand

    I was sceptical about this game,because i am not a fan of zombie games,but this is something different.Visuals are stunning,campaign is really good and addictive..The DLC is fantastic,i was blown away..Mechanics are good,parkour is fluid,especially when you get skill points.Also,the ending in the DLC is very good.I tottaly reccomend this.For me,it's well spent money.

    get yourself a buddy for coop get this difficulty on hard and turn down the lights and you've got yourself one of the most unique multiplayer experiences ive played for quiet sometime! ive never died so much in game and ran head first back into the fire with a smile on my face! i picked this up for £16 which is nothing really and the amount of content it includes makes it a steal.

    Pros:
    - still fresh feeling in gameplay
    - great smooth graphic
    - great leveling system
    - perfect skill tree

    Cons:
    - no hdr and more than 30 fps on ps4 pro

    One of the best games of 2015 and this is an amazing package. It includes all of the DLC, but that's just the icing on the cake. You also get new game play additions like the legendary skills, new weapons and new moves. The following is an amazing piece of DLC by itself and will last you 25-30 hrs of game play easily. Must have for gamers who love fun and atmospheric games.

    Don't believe the hype, this game is crappy and pretty mediocre, could have been much better if they improved the mission system, the path finding system, the ammo creation and the characters . The path finding is horrible. Would it have killed the game developers have a hint or something to the locale of the actual opening where you can get into the pharmacy?

    Even when you completed missions, you have to look everywhere in the apartment building and there is no indicator where the mission giver is, no audio clue, no nothing so you might have to go around from 19th floor, 20th floor to 1st floor, the game doesn't tell you where you are. It's utterly frustrating.

    Later in the game you get a chance to craft a lot of arrows, etc but you cannot craft bullets? Really, this is stupid on the game designer decision, the fastest way to kill a zombie is pretty much a shot to the head but no, you cannot craft them at all, even though you can craft other weapons. And whose idea was it to be allow you to able to carry 15 guns and only have 40 ammo? This is utterly the stupidest decision I ever seen, every other games would only allow you inventory spots for as many ammo that you're carrying, like in Resident Evil, you have 50 bullets per slot and one gun slot, that could've easily be done here but no, this is just laziness on part of the developer.

    Overall, Dying Light is pretty crappy due to its major problems and that won't be fixed anytime soon, I doubt I will play Dying Light 2 unless the developer fix all of the problems in Dying Light.    … Expand

    When I first started the game I thought to myself... it's just assassins creed with zombies. However as I began to get more into the game, hearing it's intriguing sound tracks and deathly zombie hallows as I traversed the big open world of Dying Light, I found myself enjoying it more and more. Even now I am going back to it now and then just for the experience of jumping around killing zombies and completing side quests to get that sweet XP. Building on the XP RPG system of the game, jumping around rooftops actually rewards you agility XP, while combat has its own skill tree along with survival for completing quests. Traversing the world at night for bonus XP felt satisfying and very rewarding watching that meter slowly rise up the more complicated moves you do keeps you entertained throughout.

    The plot of the story is nothing special which is a little more of a let down however in The Following DLC it was much more interesting and original which I liked and felt real progression whenever I found out anything new. Moreover the following adds a car into the mix rather than simply going around rich or poor cities jumping around their rooftops you're presented with a much more open world with not as much rural activity but a whole lot more zombies.

    Overall I feel this game is a definite worth buying as it isn't that expensive now and runs very smoothly on PS4. A new and fresh game with a gritty feel to it that keeps you on your toes.    … Expand

    Dying Light was a fabulous and fun game, although definitely a bit flawed. I never regretted my playtime or purchase and would buy the second one for sure, so that's a great endorsement of it. The Following expands on it by keeping the original game, adding a fun and upgradeable buggy, and having a good story and side quests to go with it. I had a lot of fun and that's the point of most games!

    What an amazing game. Physics are incredible. So much to do. Beware. The first two hours aren't fun. But once you're in, my goodness the game delivers time and again. Best single player zombie game I've ever played.

    At the moment this is the 2nd game in my life where another DLC would be much appreciated. Techland and CD Project RED guys are the best.

    It has probably the best parkour system in gaming, the day night cycle is fantastic. Its suitably gory, as it should be. It looks really good, but some of the details on the enemies are a bit lacking, which is totally nit-picking.

    The developers from Dying light should be super proud of themselves. This is by far one of the best online campaign multiplayer's going about. So much so that when a new friend bought the game we went all the way back to the beginning to do it all again.

    For me,this is the best zombie game ever. Rich game, stunning visuals, nice story. The thing i need to especially compliment is the MUSIC. Both in the original and in The Following, music is one of the best gaming tracks ever. Worth your money.

Every encounter feels tense and personal. Found the bladed weapons the best for dismembering and decapitating. The day/ night cycles add a great depth to the gameplay as the hunter becomes the hunted.Awesome game and dlc , best stress reliever after a hard days work . Love running around seeing how many zombies I can take on. One of the top zombie game packages out at the moment. Every encounter feels tense and personal.     I should start by pointing out that the graphics for this game are amazing, and the gameplay at times is extremely suspenseful if not genuinely frightening.     I should start by pointing out that the graphics for this game are amazing, and the gameplay at times is extremely suspenseful if not genuinely frightening. Certain aspects really reminded me of Far Cry 4, from the climbing of towers, beautiful visuals, the antagonist, even the protagonists voice. I must say though that as much as i enjoyed that game, this one was evern more rewarding of an experience.

    This is truly one of the most suspenseful, or "scary" games I've played. And it should be said, THIS IS NOT A GAME FOR CHILDREN, it is extremely violent, disturbing, and has plenty of adult language.

    If you like zombie games, open-world games, or survival games, I highly suggest this game. It may not be one for your girlfriend, but I'll definitely recommend it to any gamer with the nerve to stomach an intense game like this. As far as horror games go, this one gets an A+    … Expand

    I highly recommend this game.
    This is the best zombie game I played. The map is huge and full of fun stuff to do.
    Playing with friends is also very enjoyable. It feels like being in a walking dead world.
    For 30$ it's a steal!

    Challenging for most of the game, but still fun when your OP
    Co-Op works great
    My only issue is its parkour can feel a little floaty in certain situations, and starting off weapons break so quickly, but that changes once you get the right upgrades,

    Nice graphics, exhilarating parkour, decent performance for a console and a top notch RE voice actor for the lead role. The not so good a greyed out and fading "I can't see what the hell is going on" U.I. The controller scheme for weapon hot switching is also the worst. Four slots for weapons and four slots for items and the way the control scheme is set they just don't work smoothly or quick enough. It doesn't take much to die in this game and nights are even more tricky. So a fast and fluid hot switching is a must for survival. Auto default cheap spawns and the combat just doesn't feel as satisfying as Dead Island/Riptide.

    The survival and crafting elements are just arcade basic. Some annoying really scripted dumb BS. For a game that is about leveling, progression and acquiring cool gear? Well that all gets thrown out of the window in the four major boss fights. Just the thought of having to replay those gimped fights in replays argh! In Dead Island/Riptide I was allowed all my fun weapons/gear in those boss fights Techland. This time Techland forgot how to scale the difficulty with fun. Techland went the cheap and lazy route of player gear stripping in all the boss fights, fts. The near instant mob respawn and loot repawn totally breaks the survival immersion aspect.

    I absolutely despise the gamerfied last level game design.

    "The Following" add-on to the base game didn't really resonate as much. Lots of games have generic open world driving. Bonus feature the add-on unlocks some cool extra weapons and gear that can be used with the base game or the add-on. Thankfully the base game relies heavily on the exhilarating parkour element and that alone is what made me want to keep on replaying ( several times so far ). Jumping across roof tops has never been so much fun.    … Expand

    Amazing gameplay! Melee, Shooting, Driving and Parkour all the best. This and Bloodborne are my 2 fav games of all time. Best Zombie apocalypse setting and atmosphere. Soundtrack and sound effects are epic. What a game! Sorry DL2 you are just an 8, much prefer DL1.

    Dying Light manages to keep it's survival horror/action-open world until the very end, however, when I was halfway through the story (when there's a scenery change) I started to get bored and tired of the same mechanics and how the game was basically turning into a genneric sandbox game, besides, the ending left a very sour taste in my mouth. A really good game, but it has its flaws

    Im playing this game many years after it came out because im intrested in dying light 2. Im blown away how much i enjoy this game. Great map, story and game play! Im 100% buying dying light 2.

    No es un Dead Island, pero para quitar el mono vale, un buen juego mas que disfrutable solo y mejor en compañía. En Ps4 va justo de rendimiento. Esta bastante logrado el parkour pero en el combate podría estar mejor. Un juego de contrastes con detalles muy trabajados, como cierta animaciones, emplazamiento, situaciones, guiños, objetos, etc..y otros que, o no les dio tiempo, o no se.     The not so good bits: when parcouring works is great, but more often than not it doesn't causing you to crater to your death (or something like that). Also, the lock picking gets old pretty soon. I’m looting for an hour and spending it all in just a few encounters to do quests, and then I have to go out and loot again. It feels tiresome. The amount of damage that the zombies can absorb without dying makes me cringe every time I arrive at a new quest zone and see there’s another fatty in an orange jumpsuit—ohI REALLY wanted to love this game, but every zombie is a damage sponge. The additional title "Good Night, Good Luck" isn't there just to make the title more serious, but literally, if you complete quests or just roam around the map of Harran at night, you will be always making sure that you have a safe zone nearby so that you can take shelter in it, if you get caught by volatiles, which are probably the worst type of zombies in the game but at least you can't find them roaming around all the time since their skin can't support UV radiation.
    The day and night cycle and having different weather effects makes you feel more or less safer, more or less cautious, all in all, weather does effect how easy you can get scared.
    In the beginning of the game doing quest during night is a suicide mission, later when you get access to takedowns, camouflage, guns and overall better gear, playing at night will be a rewarding and scary experience.
    The main story isn't at a Last of Us level but it's acceptable as the main selling point for this game is the combat, parkour and the environment and the amazing coop experience.
    Combat and parkour are fluid, something on which the first Dead Island hasn't been really working on as the only parkour you had were interactions with objects and jumping.
    Coop is probably the best way to play the game, similar to Dead Island, as you have to finish the prologue first and set the game server to public.

    The Following DLC is a great addition to the story which takes place in the countryside near Harran after the ending of the main game. What you get here is a new story, much bigger map and the possibility to drive a buggy which for some reason is the only working vehicle left in Harran. I liked the DLC, but it's not as good the main game since many of the quests were scattered around the map, and made completing these tasks much more of driving chore and more less combat since the map is bigger than expected.

    Other DLCs are okay, they are basically additional contents without any relation to the story. You can try them, but it won't take long to become bored.

    All in all, one of the best zombie survival game so far. Parkour, combat, coop and the environment is where this game shines. The element of danger that this game offers will be enough for years and after completing it you will be left with only good scary memories.    … Expand

    Dying Light mixes excellent exploration thanks to its parkour mechanics and decent and straight-forward combat. It's fun and addictive when played with friends.     Really enjoyable, fun game. Made me wonder why Fallout couldn't do vehicles or 3rd person properly etc. Definitely top 3 game of the generation.

The games graphics run at a lower framerate and that can be bothersome but attention to detail is just awesome. The parkour mechanics rival Mirror’s Edge and its lackluster sequel. The story wasn’t a masterpiece but was still entertaining with likeable characters and a great protaganist. If you like this game you will love following dlc. The following is one of the best dlcs I've ever seen. Recommended to buy enhanced edition.

    Dying Light + DLC are my personal Highlight for PS4. I played the game x times and it is fun since the first play. Dying Light contains tons of easter eggs and fun things. I can't wait for Dying Light 2.

Боевка тоже,неплохая,но хочется больше,чем просто спам кнопок. Но как реализованы бои-мое почтение. Сколько мяса. Причем есть хороший кооп.

    Really good game, one of the greatest zombie game of all time I think. The gameplay is incredibly fun and the story was solid. This game had everything I wanted for a zombie game. Highly recommended

    Attention to detail, great animations, elaborate upgrade rpg elements to weapons and character, and a fun time to revisit. I've beat the game once by myself, twice with friends, and now am giving it another go in excitement for the sequel. Great game, holds up!

    Atmosferi, birbirini çokça tekrar etmeyen görev yapısı ve dönemine göre iyi grafiklerle oluşturulmuş korku gerilim temalı aksiyon oyunu. Oyun baştan sona sizi sıkmadan oynatıyor Türkçe alt yazı desteğinin olması da ayrı bir güzel. Kesinlikle deneyimlenmesi gereken bir oyun.

    The open world sucks, there is a huge deemphasis on parkour in this dlc since you get car and have to constantly drive across a huge map in this one with no fast travel and constantly have to repair and fuel your car with loot. Out of loot you walk which normally would be fine but this isn’t a city it’s a country side that is mostly long roads and open fields. The car can be fun to drive at times but after the first few missions it gets old really fast. Also you have to do side missions all over the map to get through the story. Over all this is just way less fun than the main game and offers an awful end to an already bad story.    … Expand

    La verdad es un juego muy bueno simplemente es genial hacer parkour y matar zombis el unico problema que tengo es que se me hacen muy duros los zombis para ser dificultad normal pero cuando subes de nivel eso se deja de notar una historia bastante buena gráficos exelentes para la época solo me hubiese gustado una mejor banda sonora y un mejor doblaje al español pero fuera de eso es una joya

    A DLC that has all rights to be considered a proper expansion, The Following adds so much to Dying Light that it almost feel like a proper standalone game. This is a great example of how DLC should be made - with new map, incredibly fun addition of vehicles and even improving upon the familiar gameplay.
