I'm giving this a 10/10. A fantastic first gen PSVR racing game. Currently the ONLY racing game on PSVR. One could argue about the graphics. Sure, not the best, but it doesn't stand in the way. Since 1992 - All Important ones , I have them all... this one is a MUST TO HAVE if one is a driving games fanatic as I am.
All the issues about resolution - ok , it's very low comparing to our pc's but bare in mind that it is also much much cheaper than Oculus & Vive .... also , we're just encountering the first signs of VR... so therefore believe me , Sony did a god job to deliver their VR for just 400,- $ and Euros. Still 50% less then the Big competition. Once again , it's less than satisfied when it goes about graphics - I admit ... , but it's f***** good when it goes about responding - steering ( even with ps4 remote !!!!!!! ) and for us driving games ppl
it's much more important than grapics in such case.... besides graphics are NOT SO BAD as you get it on the Demo of DrivingClub VR . Full game is much better , I swear ... still NOT SO GOOD I HOPED it will be but for 20 $ in here ( the Netherlands , Europe ) it's just a MUST to buy for every driving games user as I am since yeaaaaaaars ! If you like driving games - JUST BUY and you'll say : wtf it so good ! like I did when I started the FULL ver of DC VR.

I just need to give my perspective. The gameplay is fantastic and it works extremely well in VR. I just streamed/played Driveclub VR for three straight hours last night with no discomfort. Batman is probably the best VR game at the moment, but DCVR is my go-to. I've sunk more time into DCVR than any other VR game bc it's actually a game. It has hundreds of hours of content and is a joy to start your own club, race in multiplayer, and create challenges for others to beat.

The game features new tracks, new game modes, and new ways to play. It is technically a new game. The visuals are a bit unclear, but they are also going for extreme realism which is not easy to achieve in VR. You have to understand this instead of making a blanket statement that "the graphics are bad". It's Driveclub graphics, just slightly less clear, but the immersion of VR more than makes up for it. I still find myself marveling at the beauty of the snow kissed mountain tops and the crumbling Scottish castles even with the VR fidelity. In reality, i appreciate it more bc i'm actually there. Free cruise in the Wombat buggy is actually one of my favorite things to do.

It's a travesty how Driveclub VR has been perceived. Just try the demo and tell me it's not enjoy? I would give Driveclub VR a 9/10, but i rated it 10/10 to offset the idiocy that i see. Try it and you will see.

I´d bought Driveclub VR as a preorder with my VR set but put it aside after reading other reviews. For me, coupled with Until Dawn it has been the best VR "gaming" experience I´ve had. I found it immersive, I´ve had no problems with motion sickness (although I am currently taking a break after every 2 races). Graphically, I was never expecting great things with VR, and I was actually pleasantly surprised after reading other reviews. There is plenty to see and yes while the graphics ARE undoubtedly blurry I never felt it affected the immersion which is truly remarkable in the game and surely the reason we're playing VR in the first place. Maybe other players have had the advantage of playing games like Dirt on the occulus and are judging it by that standard...Something I cannot do...But this has certainly whetted my appetite for more! I had the motion sickness for the first 2-3 days but I made sure I stopped as soon as I felt it coming on and it soon wore off and now I can play it for hours with no problems.. The graphics are pretty blurry but photo-realistically blurry, if that makes sense.. they are not cartoony at all so you still feel like you in a real place, it's just that you forgot to put in your contact lenses that morning! Hopefully the playstation 4 pro will improve things over time.. But given that Grand Turismo Sport will not be fully VR compatible after all, if you're into racing games this is where it's at for the time being, and it's a great place to start your VR racing career.. The graphical quality is surpassed by immersion and content available. I've played 20 hours with no motion sickness. That's up to 3 hours in one session and I'm no motion sickness super hero. Love this game and my family and friends who have tried it really enjoy it too

I really don't get all the hate. It's Driveclub, but now you're in the car. I think it's solid, and until Gran Turismo takes a crack at VR, this will definitely do. I used the DS4 to play, but was hoping the Move controllers would act as steering wheel and shift knob for manual. Either way, I'd love to try it out with the GT steering wheel and pedals if that's possible.

The side and rear view mirrors are a bit blurry, and the competition seem to follow the drive line a bit too much, but the feeling of passing a car, then being able to look to the right and see it through the passenger mirror, then turning your head 3/4 of the way around to spot him in your rear windshield. I not sure why people are disliking this. Obviously the graphics wont be as good as normal driveclub. The framerate is good. it drives smooth. It works well with thrustmaster rs300 steering wheel and most important its fun to play and very immersive. Playing in the dark is a awesome experience. If anyone likes racing games then this is a no brainer until gt comes out.

If you get motion sickness then don't play this game and rate it down. You should be rating yourself down, not this game. Like having motion sickness and rating an F16 jet down. It's not the jet that's bad. It's you, Dummy! The graphics aren't great, but the immersion is excellent. The gameplay is excellent. The audio is excellent. Not bad for the first Playstation VR racing game!

My favorite VR game so far.
It doesn't look very good - it's especially blurry in distance, but it has great gameplay (realistic driving feel) and a lot of content like for a VR game. I never played it online, but spent around 100 hours in single. For me, it beats other VR racing games. It's not perfect racing game, especially from technical point of view, but there's nothing better at

This is not poor man's driveclub in VR, it is PS1 graphics. The blur is everywhere.
Cars in the distance are blobs of colour. If this is the reason you are buying VR, demo it first.

Well. For a personal user, I will sure give a very low score for any game I can't suffer.

The motion sickness for DriveClub VR is among the top level as EVE:Valkyrie or PS VR World: LUGE. Maybe it is caused by the blur or the low graph quality.

Apart from that, adjusting your position before match is one the shining point of this game. You really have a feeling of inside a racing car.

Well let's begin with the graphics.....or the lack of them I should say. One word BLURRY, I mean so blurry that is very disappointing to even have this game looking this poorly, which you would think the developers would try harder especially seen it in 1st person view as it's on psvr.
The sound is mediocre, gameplay is mostly a vomit fest, and the longevity of it is as good as a demo.

I picked this up cheap in the sales and I'm playing on the PS Pro I think a few of the reviews are a bit unfair on this title. I have put a couple of hours in and had no motion sickness. Graphically it's not perfect but it does a damn good job of immersing yourself into the experience. Sound and music is great and it feels like an old school arcade racer.

It's a good game, with steering wheel. And one of the biggest VR games around at the moment. Nice sense of speed. Because you are staring at the horizon a lot, it sometimes feels a bit pixelated, but the immersion is still fantastic.

I dont care for racing super cars much. Would rather it was imports, muscle or even my 1500 ram. But on the VR, Driveclub has an edge. It looks very nice inside many of the cars. The backgrounds in the game are pleasant but not sharp enough i thought.
I found myself trying to get all the stars I could on solo.
I never tried the online because i dont care for actual racing online much.

As of writing this, there are a couple driving games out. Dirt is nice looking but I would pick driveclub because i like the pavement.
Its a nice experience and maybe half believable if you had a nice gamechair and racewheel.
For me it got boring with the supercars and i slowly stopped playing steady.
