Eu achei o jogo mt bom e bem desenvolvido, as DLC's são maravilhosas, e o jogo é mt lindo. O jogo é bem fiel a história do anime, e tbm o jeito q eles adaptaram o estilo de jogo, combinou mt com o anime.

Game recommended for Dragon Ball fans only. I enjoyed it but it has many flaws, it lacks epic moments from the anime, the story is sometimes too short, the music is missing, the fights are all the same, the open world is boring.

Its just Xenoverse with less charcters....... BUT! the graphics are faaaaaar more better, the combat fells smoother, the animations are great, its just feels great to play the original dbz story instead of a custom story (like the ninja storm games)

The best Dragon ball game of the entire history. Please, Toei animation and Bandai, do the same thing with the Dragon Ball Super Manga. I beg you!

El mejor juego de dragón ball en consolas ya que es un RPG en tiempo real, la historia está sumamente bien contará, además de actualizarse con dlc después de 3 años desde su salida

The game was good, the gameplay was decent but the problem with it that it was repetitive in some way or another, and the dynamic scenes was a cure for the blind tbh, but the filler in the game literally had me stop playing it for like 3 months, overall if you found the deluxe edition with a sale on it, and you're a dbz fan, BUY IT IMMEDIATELY

Dragon Ball game for Dragon Ball fans.
Good fights and visuals, but it always stucks on the same thing.
    Way too much more potential

Great tribute to the manga and the story is very well reconstructed through the lens of this game. Gameplay is fun and every move feels impactful, boss fights are challenging, music is great and graphics are amazing. This looks like a PS3 game. In my opinion this is a wasted chance to have THE Dragon Ball game.
If you are fan you'll have some fun exploring the world that looks really like the anime, and trying all the characters. But combat system become soon boring; if you expect an evolution from the PS2 titles (that are still the best DB games) you will be disappointed.

Yes. The game is good. Easy. But good.

The combat is simple, and easy to master. The leveling up system is WAYYYYY too broken, especially if you have the first and second DLC pack. One: The game has a tendency to lag.

Two: The exploration still takes a long time, despite being able to fly at quick speeds.

Three: Villainous enemies don't change at all.

    And that's it! Nothing else.

It's literally one of the worst video games I've ever played in my life. I image it was programmed by a bunch of over the hill has beens. It plays like a piece of crap super Nintendo game. The controls are horrible. HORRIBLE!! Combat is boring. Spam spam spam spam. One button to do it all. And the bosses suck. First real boss you fight is Vegeta. He is not challenging to fight. But rather than fix this the "programmers" decided to have Vegeta cheat instead. Literally if you start winning the game spams and causes damage and knocks you out. You can be right in the middle of a special move, with a beam of energy with Vegeta slammed into the ground, doesn't matter YOU GET HIT instead, and then you lose you're power and can't move (something you CANNOT do to your enemy) and then one hit causes over 1000 damage. So it's practically impossible to beat him. I gave up after thirty minutes and asking myself, why am I doing this? Why am I getting frustrated on a D title game? This game isn't worth investing any time into whatsoever. I'm glad I got it on sale. Do not waste your money on this. This game sucks. I am not over exaggerating. It blows so bad. Wait, it will be free on game pass or psn. In about a year no one will be even willing to pay $5 for this hot garbage and it'll be free. Don't waste you're money. You'd be better off buy fentanyl over this. On top of the terrible 7 generation old game mechanics, the game constantly crashes. Yea, seriously, and it's not even optimized yet. This game is truly one of the worst games ever made. Made by people who used to know how to make games but didn't keep up with the times. If you're a Dragon Ball Z fan I would avoid it because it's going to put such a bad taste in your mouth its going to ruin it. Absolutely garbage. Expand

Now I know I'm late to this but DBZ Kakarot is a good way for me to relive my childhood watching Dragon Ball Z on Cartoon network but the game felt to easy once the Cell saga came and even though this game is one of my favorite DBZ based games (besides Budokai 2 and the Xenoverse games) the enemies became easier to beat and the game over all dropped in quality But it went up to an 8 for me because the Trunks DLC. DBZ: Kakarot is the best Dragon Ball game ever made. The battle system is really amazing and easy to learn, the graphics are beautiful and the open world is awesome.
For new fans, the RPG element might be too simple, but for true fans of the series, this game has everything they want.
And that's what really matters! The fans!

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is a game clearly made with love and appreciation for the source material: the environments are faithfully recreated even when not integral to the gameplay, new original side-quests expand in charming ways on popular and forgotten characters alike, while many features are subtle references to various multimedial instances of the franchise's history. But sadly, as much as this game is full of love, it is almost completely devoid of any technical quality. The Combat system is overly simplistic and excruciatingly repetitive, remaining static throughout the entire experience both defensively and offensively, as the same enemy attack patterns repeat continuously and the new abilities unlocked merely provide an increased damage output. To aggravate this boredom, the challenge is non-existent, not only due to fights themselves being too easy, but also because of the possibility to carry an unlimited amount of healing items to use whenever desired, totally trivializing any fight. For this reason, the many side-quests and side-activities around the map, of which the main reward is raising your stats, end up being entirely unnecessary to the main progression. This ultimately comes off as a blessing, since all activties are incredibly shallow and devoid of any real depth: time-wasters that either provide more ridiculously easy battles or embarassingly simplistic minigames that lose all appeal after a couple of minutes, copy and pasted throughout the entire game world without a hint of variety. Even the game's main strength, its faithful retelling of the original story, doesn't deliver properly as in the second half of the game it often skips iconic story bits.

Clunky gameplay filled with grind, boring content, unintuitive ui, pointless game mechanics and just overall lack of polish. I regret spending money on this game. I'm sure i'd have more fun just rewatching the anime. I fell for it because of the high review scores but now I know that they are just flooded with fanboys. The truth is that this game is much below average.

I felt exactly like I was play-watching the anime while playing this game. Though the game is not perfect and it's RPG mechanics leaves much to be desired, this is a wonderful game for the fans that rivals The Legacy Of Goku II in greatness.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is a great Dragon Ball game, if not one of my favorites. One person I saw wrote a review saying it was a "fake RPG". It's a hybrid of RPG, action-adventure and fighting game, zorkeon, not a "fake RPG". Though this is a great game, it does have problems, like being repetitive because of the damn robots you fight pre-Raditz. Overall, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a great game with surprisingly great graphics, but it's also a bit on the grindy side because of the god **** damn robots. Anyway, I recommend this game to anyone who is fine with grinding. Expand

A very few games can compare to Kakarot in terms of sheer love towards the original series and storytelling qualities. Not without its set of flaws that leave only regret not being even greater, Kakarot still manages to be a great game for fans. No, scratch that. It manages to be an amazing game! May they not stop here, and deliver more and more of love-letters like this. If it goes in the right direction, the next one could definitely be legendary.
