    While I was highly satisfied with the main game, I was only moderately entertained by this DLC. The content is short for the price, maybe only about 8 hours of game play. The DLC is 100% linear, compared the numerous directions you could take in the main game. The main characters are all also forced into a boring and unnatural state of sitting around in a courtyard.

    The DLC does bring DAI story does come to a beautiful conclusion, but that’s not worth the price. You could probably watch the end scene on Youtube, but that’s not what I paid for.

    As a stand alone product, this DLC would be a complete flop. As an add-on it feels kind of slapped together to be honest and detracts from the overall gaming experience.    … Expand

    Although you learn some interesting things about the Qunari and the Ancient Elves along the way, Trespasser really isn't worth its initial price. Although the areas you visit, the Winter Palace included, are pretty you don't have a lot of exploring to do. There are only a few Eluvian you can travel through that have nothing to do with the story, and they all lead to one room where you haveAlthough you learn some interesting things about the Qunari and the Ancient Elves along the way, Trespasser really isn't worth its initial price. Although the areas you visit, the Winter Palace included, are pretty you don't have a lot of exploring to do. There are only a few Eluvian you can travel through that have nothing to do with the story, and they all lead to one room where you have to defeat some demons to open a chest. Once you play all the way through the game you get another, "true", Epilogue and your Inquisitor and his/her allies will announce that they have to look for allies somewhere else to stop a new threat you learn about in the DLC. Honestly, at the end of all of it I just felt like I spent €15 to learn where the new Dragon Age will take place... So, Pros: You get some interesting lore about the Ancient Elves. Cons: It's railroad-y with little exploration. It's no Mass Effect 3's Citadel when it comes to meeting up with your allies again. I already spent my money on it.… Expand

    It closes the Dragon Age: inquisition like it should! A great story that leeds to a deeply satisfying end and sets up the next Dragon Age game. I am definitely hooked!

    Trespasser is an epilogue to DA:I. Giving closure to the main game's storyline, and foreshadowing the next game in the series.

    As an epilogue, it works. BUT, it also manages to feel detached from the main game. It feels like both a goodbye to the current cast, and also a huge tease on what DA4 might be. If anything, I feel this DLC would have worked better as a stand alone film (like    Trespasser is an epilogue to DA:I.     I will not complain about the story as this DLC is loaded with new lore and plenty of explanations for a few unanswered questions from DA:I.

    The new locations are just gorgeous. Granted most of it is just vistas, they are stunning. Trespasser's design is superb, adding many new elements to a world already rich in design.

    One really irritating thing from this DLC for me were the Trials trophies. As I usually only keep 2 or 3 saves per character, these trials did force me start a new game (and after 5 full play throughs already, that was annoying.) For me, these trophies would have been better off being in an earlier DLC.

    Overall:
    Trespasser adds tons of story to DA:I and does a good job wrapping things up. Gameplay wise, I did find it lacking, and too short. While the trials trophies were a pain, I will admit they were a good idea (just a little too late.) But in the end this is a great DLC, I just wish it was longer.

    Side Note to developers:
    - No more Sigils, they suck.
    - Make the even ground trial permanent.
    - Nevarra and Antiva. In next game. Please?
    - Pretty please??

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I am in love with DA: I and with all the games from the franchise, but the ending felt like I was stabbed in the head with a machete. At first, this DLC seemed to be great. It had lots of interactions with your allies, it had a lot of action and you found out interesting things that answered many questions, but the ending blew it all away. I hate it that even though I spent over 140 hours in the game to complete everything and played it in the best possible way, in the end The Inquisitor is left without a hand and The Inquisition ends up being a peacekeeping organisation or it is ended and nearly all of your allies left. I wanted the Inquisition to stand tall with my Inquisitor at its peak along with all his friends, you know? Anyway, you should play this DLC in order to further understand the series.… Expand

    Este es el final que Dragon Age necesitaba, me agrada que no cometa el pecado del Origins de no plantear un futuro, y que no deje al jugador con una última misión corta y mala. Me encantó la historia y la profundidad de los personajes. Muy emocionado por DA4.

    This final seven hours of story DLC doesn’t offer exciting loot to collect or huge environments to explore, but the story and combat left me feeling satisfied with the way things turned out for my Inquisitor and her merry band of adventures.
