Felt like a classic. Fun to play. I would recommend it to shmup fans. The controls are great, and while shooting ground enemies is hard at the beginning, it becomes easier as you advance and improve your weapons.

DOGOS sends you on a ride that every SHUMP fan needs to check out, there is such a need for this in this gen of games.

The levels are well thought out and offer nice varying degrees of difficulty for all players. The 3D allows for a gameplay that few dare to try and few pull off, and yet DOGOS comes out ahead and shows you it’s not messing around. This game is worthwhile to buy and

This game is worthwhile to buy and is a must for any fan’s of Project Root, and SHUMP games will find this to be one you will enjoy for days to come.

I give this game a 7/10 as in the game has fun controls, sweet weapons, and enough bad guys to make you squirm. I just would have liked to have seen some more depth and feeling in the music.

The game is decent at times but it lacks some features that would have made this a better experience. Things like mutiplayer and a leader board would have really helped to give Dogos legs. There's also some irritations in the art style, frame rate and general presentation, and the lack of a narrative to give context to what's going on hurts as well.

There’s a lot of potential in DOGOS which acts on many lessons from the developers learned with their previous game Project Root, but this twin-stick shoot ’em up still has a few more lessons to learn about fun and boss battles. Drop the difficulty, ignore the trophies and enjoy it for what it is but don’t expect to fall in love with the game.
