Dont understand why this game has so low reviews, i’ve been playing it recently & its really good, great graphics, great full locomotion with smooth turning controls, good doctor who story & on psvr, if u are a fan or even not, give this a try, it wont disappoint, really fun for like 3 hours.

I’m a big fan of Doctor Who and have been for a LONG time and this game is great for people who like doctor, people who don’t, and people who don’t even know what doctor who is! Not only is it a great doctor who game but it is also a GREAT fr game. I recommend it

Everything starts out great. The graphics are great in the first scene, the doctor needs your help. Everything is set up to be a wonderful adventure...until you realize it is a puzzle solving game where you basically have to solve puzzles, often through trial and error as the clues you get are often very vague. Everything is set up to be a wonderful adventure...until you realize it is a puzzle solving game where you basically have to solve puzzles, often through trial and error as the clues you get are often very vague. The Doctor is very patronizing, which is fine, because the doctor can be that way with lowly humans, but I really don't need to hear the doctor repeat the same cryptic clue every 30 seconds like I'm some kind of moron or something. LIke, literally, I'm solving one of the puzzles which is taking me a little bit of time and I have to hear her spout the same clue over and over again even though I know what I'm doing and just need a few minutes to do it.
The Tardis controls are horrific to manage and when you make a mistake the doctor makes some pithy comment. Also, later in the game, the graphics seem to be a little blander and less detailed than in the beginning like they just got lazy when they designed it.
To be honest, I didn't finish the game because it just plain got very frustrating trying to solve some of the puzzles when what I was looking for was a cool adventure.

Doctor Who: The Edge of Time doesn’t really feel like a 2019 VR game, with simplistic VR tropes and mostly obvious puzzles. As a result, the quality of the experience relies too heavily on its licensing to communicate any significant quality.

Doctor Who: The Edge of Time has some fun ideas and offers fans a great opportunity to go on a time-hopping adventure with the greatest alien hero television has ever seen. Unfortunately, it doesn’t quite feel ready for prime time nor is it optimized well enough on the PlayStation 4.

I wanted to love Doctor Who: The Edge of Time, but I was left feeling let down. The periodic injection of obligatory “cheeky quips” from the disembodied voice of Whittaker’s Doctor just felt like another superficial distraction from the fact that, at its core, this is just an ok VR puzzler that wastes its legendary source material. If you’ve always wanted to take the TARDIS for a spin, by all means check it out — but beyond that, temper your expectations.
