    This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. Undertale was the best RPG ive ever played, so this game had alot to live up to. It did not dissapoint. The village is very charming and is was amazing to see how the characters moved into the surface. The gameplay was a upgrade from undertale. if your a fan of more traditional RPGs than this will be better for you. having 3 people makes it more interesting.

    There is only one issue i've had with this game. I did not really feel much of a connection to the enemies. In Undertale, the game turned a pretty reckless person into the guy who cant kill even the most minor of characters. even a fight like Mettaton EX, which was a PITA to beat, i still did peacefully. In this game, the enemies felt less human and more like traditional bad guys. when i got stuck in a fight, i just killed the enemy. Other than that, a amazing game. I really hope that chapter 2 comes out soon.

It is a purposely corny and charming surprise we got on Halloween, and so far, I like it. The battle system is solid, the characters are very charming, and the story is kind of lame, following the same path of Undertale, and that got a wee bit old. The soundtrack is good, not on the level of Undertale, but still good. It rightfully is short, and I love the return of Toriel, Undyne, Sans, Alphys, and etc. Also Sans told you he befriended Toriel last night, which was...interesting. Lancer was funny. The puzzles were okay. Susie was awesome, but something was just out of place. I know this was on purpose, but no choices matter. When you boot up the game, you waste 3 minutes building an avatar just for the game to place a middle finger in your face and move on. The games bosses were also lacking, I don't know. It just felt like there was no motivation to complete it.
    Overall, a cute start to a sequel for Undertale, but I hope it gets better. So far, Undertale is years ahead. It's like if you go to Mexico, get a taco that is fine dining, you love, LOVE it, then you want another taco. You head to Taco Bell, get a taco, and it's good, just not on the same level as the first taco. If the game continues this, it'll end up average.    … Full Review »
