    Death Stranding would have to be the weirdest but most addictive thing I've played. Even by Hideo Kojimas standards this is weird. If you've ever wanted to be Norman Reedus as a futuristic postman while dodging and stealthing weird floating ghost things (BTs'/ Beached Things) that are connected to the underworld by a strand, while carrying a BB (Bridged Baby) to your chest. A literal babyDeath Stranding would have to be the weirdest but most addictive thing I've played. Even by Hideo Kojimas standards this is weird. If you've ever wanted to be Norman Reedus as a futuristic postman while dodging and stealthing weird floating ghost things (BTs'/ Beached Things) that are connected to the underworld by a strand, while carrying a BB (Bridged Baby) to your chest. A literal baby that cries, laughs , and will give you a thumbs up that at times you have to rock to sleep or settle down.     Es un juego que aburre sobradamente. La mecanica principal del juego es llevar mercancia del punto A al punto B, y el principal obstaculo es el entorno. Las primeras 6 o 7 horas son insufribles, donde estas mas tiempo con el mando en la mesa que en las manos, debido a las LARGUISIMAS cinematicas donde se te intenta transmitir la problematica del mundo en el que te encuentras. Tras esas 6-7Es un juego que aburre sobradamente. La mecanica principal del juego es llevar mercancia del punto A al punto B, y el principal obstaculo es el entorno. Las primeras 6 o 7 horas son insufribles, donde estas mas tiempo con el mando en la mesa que en las manos, debido a las LARGUISIMAS cinematicas donde se te intenta transmitir la problematica del mundo en el que te encuentras. Tras esas 6-7 horas primeras, ya si estaras jugando mas tiempo que viendo cinematicas, pero estas siguen existiendo. El juego tiene un tiempo de juego aproximado de unas 40 horas, pero creeme, si se te hacen largas las 12 horas de un God of War o de un Assasins Creed, no vas a soportar este juego. El ritmo de la narrativa es TAN LENTO que no te entran ganas de jugar.

    Tengo la sensacion que me han vendido una pelicula bluray muy larga a precio completo de videojuego (70€) en lugar de a precio de bluray (20€).    … Expand

    Mailman walking simulator 2019. Terrible pacing, Horrendous and boring game-play. What a let down. Only pro is the Cut-scenes, save yourself the time money and watch the Cut-scenes on Youtube. Wish I didn't waste my money on this self indulgent, 60 hour walking fetch quest. Beyond me how this received a score of 83, probably boomers and Kojima fan boys.

    The game is just incredible. Gorgeous environments and great gameplay mechanics. It has a lot of different ways to deliver packages, Kojima did it again. He achieved the miracle of making deliveries fun.

    I found myself immediately engaged with the story. There are some frustrating things (mostly weird button mapping for some functions) but it’s a unique and rewarding experience. I feel connected to other players and I feel a desire to leave likes and leave things to aid others. I’ve never played a MGS game all the way through (2 hours of MGS5) but this is a different game entirely. It’sI found myself immediately engaged with the story. There are some frustrating things (mostly weird button mapping for some functions) but it’s a unique and rewarding experience. I feel connected to other players and I feel a desire to leave likes and leave things to aid others. I’ve never played a MGS game all the way through (2 hours of MGS5) but this is a different game entirely.     Obra prima feita pelo grande Hideo Kojima, criador de metal gear saga, o game faz com que a gente pense sobre as questões de mundo, sobre uma terra desconectada, como sobreviver a isso. O game não é somente gráficos, o jogo tem tudo que o coloca no topo dos grandes games de todos os tempos.

    Don't believe the negative reviews. This game is a masterpiece. It's kinda slow burner, but it's eventually very rewarding. Easily one of the best games ever created. I've been playing it for a day now, and I'll sure go for platinum. I don't know why some people complain about it being boring, it's merely trying to be different and bring something new to the industry.

    Very repetitive game that it becomes not fun. Graphics are nice.. but games aren't all about graphics. Too much cinematics to the point I feel like I was watching a movie and started to nod off to sleep... its better you just watch the cinematics on youtube and save yourself wasting the cash.

    Going into this game I was expecting a lot less than what I got, this game is an incredible experience, something that can't be understood just from watching it. The world is extremely immersive and the characters and story are amazingly written.

Unsurprisingly, this level of plot construction takes some time build up, not unlike any great odyssey or large-scale fantasy. It feels not dissimilar to the vibes of Bird-Box, Postman, Final Fantasy Spirits Within. It plays a little like MGS5 without emphasizing the violence, although it has a very complex system to learn and gradually build upon. Bottom line: We have plenty of formulaic games already, I tip my hat to Kojima team for making something new and fascinating. Игра по сути не для всех - особенно не для любителей Fortnite. Игру кушать надо не совсем уж и залпом, а тоЛучший симулятор доставщика в мире))).     Com um pouco de cultura, torna uma excelente experiência, diferente mas com sua própria de maneira de repassar a história do modo que Kojima sempre contou, ótima sonoplastia ambientação com um craft ao estilos RPG atual, excelente para passar o tempo curti de maneira lenta e até mesmo cansativo mas não ruim ou péssimo apenas do modo Kojima de ser não direto só discreto como nano robôs.

    I've spent over 10 Hrs. in DS on my livestream Da J spot and enjoyed every minute of it. I Love the cut scenes, Beautiful atmospheric graphics. The grind doesn't Bother me. I Really enjoy the Like system and deliveries are a pain in the butt.     A unique but fantastic game from the creator of the legendary series, Metal Gear Solid. While combat exists, the primary mechanic revolves around delivering cargo to the disconnected colonies of a destroyed America. This is different from anything you have ever played. Keep your mind open and you will be treated to a new fresh experience not yet seen in AAA gaming.

    Basically you are a porter, delivering stuff to people around a post apocalyptic america.     Basically you are a porter, delivering stuff to people around a post apocalyptic america. You have to plan routes, connect with different npc's, use vehicles, stealth through enemy camps, avoid or fight monsters/bosses. But the online play brings the real joy. Because you can build stuff in the world that makes traversal easier for you and other players. See a cliff? Place a rope so every player can use it for climbing. Its a really addicting part of the game. You really feel like you can accomplish something, working together.
    But be warned, the first chapter takes its time to explain everything to you, after that you are already mastering most gameplay concepts.

    This game is perfect! Perfect story, perfect graphics, perfect soundtrack, percect gameplay, everything is perfect! Still, not a game for all. Is a game for people who want's a game with feelings and philosophical content, is a game for people with sensibility to this kind of narrative, is funny as hell and that's it, this is a masterpiece!

    Great game certainly not for everyone. Requires alot of patience and micromanaging. I think it's really cool how everyone is working together to build the world. The story makes you want to find out what happens next. Graphics are great and this might be the best soundtrack of this generation of consoles.

    Absolutely gorgeous game, and amazing story. Slower paced then what some may be expecting but it definitely delivers and will be one of the most unique games ever remembered. I find this game extremely tranquil and enjoyable. Well done Kojima

    I don’t really understand the hate, I am absolutely loving this game, the mechanics of delivering packages is so therapeutic and feeling of being a part of a community is great, the story makes sense compared to mgs and is so interesting

    Unique, kojima has done it again. It is undoubtedly one of the best games of the generation. ths soundtrack, the world, the detail level, the history and mainly the gameplay, it is very addictive to plan your path and protect yourself from adversities during the trip.     The story is amazing, the animations are fluid, the graphics are fantastic for a PS4, the music takes you to another world and the gameplay is surprisingly addictive. I came into this game blind by avoiding any spoilers possible and what I found is a game worth your time.

    recomendo Mud Runner que pelo menos você não anda a pé e tem uns caminhões dahora.

    Like nothing I've ever played. Surprisingly addictive gameplay making you think outside of the box to complete missions. If you came here for guns, guts and gunships, well you need to evaluate why you played Death Stranding.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Death Stranding is a fantastic game with intriguing and fun gameplay, logically coherent background but too much cutscenes. I haven't played a lot of Hideo Kojima games but this one is at least way better than MGSV.

    The gameplay itself is outstanding in the whole game industry. It is indeed a misplacement to categorize it as a walking simulator which the mechanisms are almost nothing or designed solely to serve the narration (like in Edith Finch). The core playable content is like Human: Fall Flat which is an adventure with puzzles that is enhanced in freedom by a bit of physical simulation and sandbox. As the game proceeds, you will be able to use a large amount of tools with upgrades to make the delivery, and the use of them can get very deep.

    Building a world together is not a fresh idea but it can easily become homogeneous and repetitive when it comes to strategy games, or require impossible amount of resources. The game applied a smart asynchronuous online playing that implement this idea while bringing some fun from social media.

    I didn't mention anything about the soundtrack and graphics, because those are peripheral elements of a game as a kind of art. However this game is a masterpiece in interactive art. On my opinion, the best of a game them in other kind of arts is that the background and plot can be deeply embedded in the game mechanisms and in Death Stranding the relationship between them is very tight. For example, the mechanism of deleting facilities is the timefall, which also account for why you need to make deliveries in person. The growth system is well designed, unlike some media said it is nothing, the previous EXP in other games is granted the meaning of LIKES and each kind of level will give our character Sam different kinds of buffs. There are even more outstanding details that make the game coherent but I don't want to spoil them here.

    All in all, 10 for the gameplay and -1 for the cutscenes, I don't really care about the decorations on the prototype.    … Expand

    Is a very monotonous game, it has great music and world detail, but no more. The story is compelling but not enough to compensate for the immense boredom.

It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
