    Death Stranding would have to be the weirdest but most addictive thing I've played. Even by Hideo Kojimas standards this is weird. If you've ever wanted to be Norman Reedus as a futuristic postman while dodging and stealthing weird floating ghost things (BTs'/ Beached Things) that are connected to the underworld by a strand, while carrying a BB (Bridged Baby) to your chest. A literal babyDeath Stranding would have to be the weirdest but most addictive thing I've played. Even by Hideo Kojimas standards this is weird. If you've ever wanted to be Norman Reedus as a futuristic postman while dodging and stealthing weird floating ghost things (BTs'/ Beached Things) that are connected to the underworld by a strand, while carrying a BB (Bridged Baby) to your chest. A literal baby that cries, laughs , and will give you a thumbs up that at times you have to rock to sleep or settle down. Then all while doing this build/ 3D print structures with the help of invisible online players in an amazing looking desolate world . Then this is for you. 92/100… Expand

    Es un juego que aburre sobradamente. La mecanica principal del juego es llevar mercancia del punto A al punto B, y el principal obstaculo es el entorno. Las primeras 6 o 7 horas son insufribles, donde estas mas tiempo con el mando en la mesa que en las manos, debido a las LARGUISIMAS cinematicas donde se te intenta transmitir la problematica del mundo en el que te encuentras. Tras esas 6-7Es un juego que aburre sobradamente. La mecanica principal del juego es llevar mercancia del punto A al punto B, y el principal obstaculo es el entorno. Las primeras 6 o 7 horas son insufribles, donde estas mas tiempo con el mando en la mesa que en las manos, debido a las LARGUISIMAS cinematicas donde se te intenta transmitir la problematica del mundo en el que te encuentras. Tras esas 6-7 horas primeras, ya si estaras jugando mas tiempo que viendo cinematicas, pero estas siguen existiendo. El juego tiene un tiempo de juego aproximado de unas 40 horas, pero creeme, si se te hacen largas las 12 horas de un God of War o de un Assasins Creed, no vas a soportar este juego. El ritmo de la narrativa es TAN LENTO que no te entran ganas de jugar.

    Tengo la sensacion que me han vendido una pelicula bluray muy larga a precio completo de videojuego (70€) en lugar de a precio de bluray (20€).    … Expand

    Mailman walking simulator 2019. Terrible pacing, Horrendous and boring game-play. What a let down. Only pro is the Cut-scenes, save yourself the time money and watch the Cut-scenes on Youtube. Wish I didn't waste my money on this self indulgent, 60 hour walking fetch quest. Beyond me how this received a score of 83, probably boomers and Kojima fan boys.

    After the beginning cutscenes and acclimation to the movement and other game mechanics, death stranding opens up to be a great game with many in depth systems layered on top of one another.     The game is just incredible. Gorgeous environments and great gameplay mechanics. It has a lot of different ways to deliver packages, Kojima did it again. He achieved the miracle of making deliveries fun.

    I found myself immediately engaged with the story. There are some frustrating things (mostly weird button mapping for some functions) but it’s a unique and rewarding experience. I feel connected to other players and I feel a desire to leave likes and leave things to aid others. I’ve never played a MGS game all the way through (2 hours of MGS5) but this is a different game entirely. It’sI found myself immediately engaged with the story. There are some frustrating things (mostly weird button mapping for some functions) but it’s a unique and rewarding experience. I feel connected to other players and I feel a desire to leave likes and leave things to aid others. I’ve never played a MGS game all the way through (2 hours of MGS5) but this is a different game entirely. It’s quirky and silly at times, but the humor is much appreciated in the bleak post-apocalyptic world you inhabit. This is more about the journey than the destination, but I was surprised how much I like it.… Expand

    Absolutely loving the game!! The story is amazing it just pulls me right in! The gameplay I can see why and understand why some would hate it but for me i love it!!

    Obra prima feita pelo grande Hideo Kojima, criador de metal gear saga, o game faz com que a gente pense sobre as questões de mundo, sobre uma terra desconectada, como sobreviver a isso. O game não é somente gráficos, o jogo tem tudo que o coloca no topo dos grandes games de todos os tempos.

    Acho ridículo chamar isso de "obra" o jogo é chato e repetitivo em alguns casos até o gráfico deixa a desejar.... Certamente é uma das decepções do ano

    If you miss the feeling you had when playing MGS3, and found yourself disappointed with MGS5, I guarantee you'll be more than satisfied to have the feelings of enthrallment and just plain fun when exploring and surviving through an unknown landscape once again. Hideo Kojima has apparently mastered his craft in story direction and sense of atmosphere when telling the story of DeathIf you miss the feeling you had when playing MGS3, and found yourself disappointed with MGS5, I guarantee you'll be more than satisfied to have the feelings of enthrallment and just plain fun when exploring and surviving through an unknown landscape once again. Hideo Kojima has apparently mastered his craft in story direction and sense of atmosphere when telling the story of Death Stranding. With gameplay that mirrors both metal gear solid1-5 and something completely new like the signs and equipment built by real life players, you'll never run of of something that surprises you and helps complete the overall experience If you've been discouraged by the low scoring Reviews, I emplore you to atleast have a free share-play session with a friend that owns the game, you'll find the game both nostalgic and wanting to find more.     Don't believe the negative reviews. This game is a masterpiece. It's kinda slow burner, but it's eventually very rewarding. Easily one of the best games ever created. I've been playing it for a day now, and I'll sure go for platinum. I don't know why some people complain about it being boring, it's merely trying to be different and bring something new to the industry.

    Very repetitive game that it becomes not fun. Graphics are nice.. but games aren't all about graphics. Too much cinematics to the point I feel like I was watching a movie and started to nod off to sleep... its better you just watch the cinematics on youtube and save yourself wasting the cash.

    Going into this game I was expecting a lot less than what I got, this game is an incredible experience, something that can't be understood just from watching it. The world is extremely immersive and the characters and story are amazingly written.

    The music in the game is also something I feel like is worth mentioning. The soundtrack is memorable and makes every moment a breathtaking, almost movie-like scene.

    Przykład geniuszu Kojimy i dla mnie gra tej generacji. Niesamowite widoki, mroczny klimat, genialne postaci i cholernie wciągająca opowieść. Prawdziwa perełka i tytuł do którego będą powracał za wiele lat. Interakcja z innymi graczami to mistrzostwo!

This game combines those aspects into a fascinating package and I am very pleased with what I have experienced so far (6 hours). I am blown away by the depth of the world-building, characterization, andThrowing my hat into the pile. I feel obligated to post a review that isn't a ridiculous extreme. Im not a Hideo super-fan, but I am a lover of sci-fi, horror, and video games. This game combines those aspects into a fascinating package and I am very pleased with what I have experienced so far (6 hours). I am blown away by the depth of the world-building, characterization, and sophistication in Death Stranding. Unsurprisingly, this level of plot construction takes some time build up, not unlike any great odyssey or large-scale fantasy. It feels not dissimilar to the vibes of Bird-Box, Postman, Final Fantasy Spirits Within. It plays a little like MGS5 without emphasizing the violence, although it has a very complex system to learn and gradually build upon. Bottom line: We have plenty of formulaic games already, I tip my hat to Kojima team for making something new and fascinating. If you don't care much for it, you have a plethora of other games to pick from.… Expand

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
