    Bom, eu de fato gostei muito do jogo death stranding. Mas tenho que dizer que algumas partes na gameplay são cansativas. Me fazendo cansar e me deixando ficar longe do ds por um tempo. Entretanto acabei zerando e achei a historia extremamente maravilhosa e complexa. Gostei muito das musicas que usaram no jogo, deixaram o clima excelente.

    Simply put, it's been years since the last time a game captivated me the way Death Stranding have. The game is not for everyone, but i'm having a blast!

    Pretty unique, interesting plot, but extremely boring and time consuming. I prefered to watch people play it, for me it was just too slow.

    This game is polarizing for some...but do not believe the "shallow walking simulator" complaints. It is a game about deliveries from point A to point B, yes...but the gameplay is refined and the decisions made while going from point A to point B...what you are carrying, how to approach an objective, inventory management, and smooth controls make this game one of my favorites of all time!

    The story itself is interesting, featuring unexpected twists. However, the gameplay process is extremely boring. The open world is lacking in depth. After playing for 20 hours, I decided to delete it.

    I've being avoiding Death Stranding since its release due to its mild reception. I'm playing it now and near the end, and I'm having such a great time with it. It's definetely meant for a niche audience, but that's okay. Gaming industry doesn't need only mainstream juggernaults with universal acclaim, it's refreshing to find something that's meant to attune with a smaller audience whileI've being avoiding Death Stranding since its release due to its mild reception.     Another trash from Kojima. Most of products from this guy are mid quality with bad gameplay design. The only thing he's doing great is cutscenes because 85% of his games are cutscenes and QTE.

    Graphics are amazing and the world/atmosphere itself is beautiful, I actually was surprised of how much fun I had with it after seeing the gameplay. The way Sam interacts with the environment is very satisfying and the way they introducte new tools to transverse the map also helped to maintain a bit of freshness + the soundtrack also made a considerable mark on me, to say the least ... yet it stills fails to provide a game in which I could actually be fully entertained most of the time because of its story's pacing.

    The plot, which even if somewhat convoluted, was very intriguing, thought provoking and emotional, but most of its actual content is literally dumped onto us in the last 2 to 3 hours of the game.

    Either you will like it or you won't. Very unusual game. I had a lot of fun managing my cargo and making deliveries. I liked that it's a very story driven game. There are no "wrong choices" and the bosses are not hard. I found the dialogue between the characters very weak at times. The first three chapters are very long but then the pace picks up and you feel like your finally making some headway.

    um otimo jogo. só que o jogo fica bem enjoativo e repetitivo depois de terminar as missões principais, o combate com armas de fogo não é tão divertido. más passar numa área de EP's pra coletar entregas sem arma nenhuma enquanto vê a sombra deles é de deixar qualquer um em desespero.

    A lot of people are saying it’s a walking simulator. It’s not. I enjoy walking simulators. I do not enjoy this. Playing this is a chore, and not in a good way. I’d also enjoy a good chore simulator. This is not that. It’s more like a nightmare, but not the kind you’d like to play a simulator of. It’s wholly unpleasant.

    The story is akin to getting your five year old to describe what they think a scary movie should be like, then running that through ChatGPT, then running that back through your five year old and getting getting them to write it as a summary, and then sending that summary to someone on fiverr who’s only charging $3 to write a script for a feature length movie.

    Death Stranding is without a doubt one of the weirdest games I've ever had the privilege of playing which I suppose is to be expected from one gaming's greatest icon's himself. I can understand where people are coming from when they say this game isn't for everyone because the way I see it, most people think of fun video games as primarily just mindless hack and slashing, shooting others,Death Stranding is without a doubt one of the weirdest games I've ever had the privilege of playing which I suppose is to be expected from one gaming's greatest icon's himself. I can understand where people are coming from when they say this game isn't for everyone because the way I see it, most people think of fun video games as primarily just mindless hack and slashing, shooting others, and innovative gameplay but not delivering packages or complex stories but to be completely honest with you, after putting more than 100 hours into this game for the platinum, I personally believe the people who are giving this game a 0 didn't even bother playing this because this game is so much more than just a lifeless open world delivery game. The main thing to understand what I mean is that I wouldn't describe this world as "lifeless" since there's plenty of lost cargo along the path meaning you can decide to stop and quickly pick it up making sure it's a mindless point A to B path with nothing to look at since the lost cargo all over the place will make sure you keep a careful eye all over the place. It's not even like there's nothing to look at even without the lost cargo since the graphics are PHENOMENAL even for a base PS4 to complement the atmosphere to ensure it's both relaxing which I can imagine is what a lot of people play games for and it stays in your head on what a post apocalyptic world would look like and it also helps the performance is excellent since the frame stays LOCKED to 30 FPS which is especially impressive for a world this detailed even for a PS4 Pro. The way how the gameplay is more fun than it looks since your cargo is heavy and the world is also a challenge with terrain potentially posing a danger to cargo making you plan out and experiment on how to get past the challenge and it's always satisfying when you do it. I'm not kidding when I say the sandbox a big strength of this game since you could overcome a challenge or reach a destination however you want; for example, I decided to try and kill all the human enemies and cremate their bodies to see what would happen and sure enough, their bodies NEVER came back making me feel rewarded I tried an experiment. The "emptiness" is intended since you can build any types of structures you want but there's also other structures other players made and when you use them/make structures, you're helping other people out and they're helping you to make you and others understand that in order to save America (or let's face it as gamers, probably just get the platinum trophy), we need to work together and unite as one which now that I think about it, must've been Kojima's plan all along. Whoever made this soundtrack should get a raise because there's not a whole lot of music but then when it does come up, it shows up when you're about to finish a difficult delivery and it genuinely feels like a massive burden is lifted off your shoulders and you feel so relived thanks to the soothing music. Finally, the story is frankly complex and convoluted and that in return is what makes it incredible but it's really the characters surrounding the story that makes it something special because without them, this story would've fallen flat on it's face since a good story is completely around it's characters to tell it. HOWEVER, I don't think this game is perfect and even though Kojima is quite an icon in the gaming industry, even he isn't immune from criticism and I've seen plenty of people say these flaws are his "style" but to be clear, just because it's his style doesn't make it good. Like even though the physics are amazing, they're not perfect since Sam could slip and act like he hit a wall even when a rock the size of his knee caps is in the way and it's extra annoying when you feel your cargo shouldn't have gotten damaged like this. The performances are great for the most part, but there was this one character who was just downright HORRIBLE especially considering this is a AAA game. Finally, what I believed created of the initial negative first impressions, nothing happens in the first 4 chapters. To be frank, it's not the players job to continue on throughout the game to see what happens, the developers need to get the players engaged from the very beginning otherwise players are gonna think this is how the game is gonna be for the rest of the game which is clearly not true. Overall, despite it's flaws, Death Stranding is one of the most unique games I've ever played and I'm so happy I played it since I haven't felt both this relaxed and lost in a video game for quite and a while and if you can get past the first 4 chapters, I can happily recommend this game and I can't wait to see what Kojima has to offer for the sequel.
    EDIT: Actually, scratch what I said, the human enemies I killed DID come back but that wasn't for a LOT longer than if I knocked them out    … Expand

    A very cool experience. If you are not patient you are going to hate this game...
    Personally I enjoyed it for the immersive and beatiful music, I felt lot of empathy for the characters, the graphics are just stunning and animations are well made. The gameplay has some problems , it's fun at the start but too repetitive in the end, the fact that you can't build everywhere is a limit , but the fact that what you build could help other players it's a concept in multiplayer games that i have never seen before. Nevertheless I really enjoyed being Deliveroo and I have platinumed it. I felt lot of emotions near the end of the story. Thank You Kojima for this wonderful experience, looking forward to play DS 2 . ;)))

    el juego me gusto mucho, que si que al principio se hace un poco pesado pero despues te vas enganchando y la trama es muy buena pero fumada tambien xd (grande Kojima) y el soundtrack buenisimo tambien (grande Low Roar) y pues eso te quiero Hideo.

    Si un jour on m'avait dit que je jouerais a un truc pareil. Je joue au jeu vidéo depuis mes 3ans, de la Nintendo 64 a la switch, et de la PlayStation 1 a la 5. J'ai joué a des centaines de jeux, passé des milliers d'heures, et explorer de nombreux terrains. Si The Last Of Us, Life Is Strange ou encore Beyond:Two Souls on a véritablement marqué ma vie de gamer et même ma vie tout court, Death Stranding est pour moi le jeu avec le scénario le plus prenant et le plus émouvant qui puisse exister a l'heure actuelle.

    Comme l'avait bien dit son créateur Hideo Kojima "ce n'est pas un jeu fait pour tout le monde" si vous n'êtes pas du genre émotionnel ou que vous préférez juste jouer au jeu vidéo pour passer du bon temps avec vos amis, alors passez votre chemin.
    Death stranding s'adresse a un public impliqué dans les questions "existentiel" de notre monde. DS questionne tout un tas de choses constituant nos réalités sociale et humaine, en passant de notre nature d'être humain jusqu'à notre représentation même de l'univers.

    C'est ce qui je pense déplaît à beaucoup de gens qui s'attendaient à avoir un énième shooter a la MGS, en effet même la narration et le scenario sont "bizarres". C'est très ouvert et sujet à interprétations, je trouve ça absolument génial.
    Comme dans l'art chaque joueur va avoir sa propre perception d'une même histoire, et c'est trop peu commun dans le jeu vidéo pour ne pas en parler ! je pense aussi que c'est ca qui a refroidi beaucoup de gens qui se sont retrouvé perdu face à cette liberté narrative.

    Pour ce qui est du gameplay en lui-même, cela se résume à faire des livraisons à travers l'Amérique. Absolument rien de plus, ça va donc vous paraître bizarre que je vous dise que le gameplay n'est pas répétitif. Mais, en effet, l'histoire va sans cesse donner un nouveau sens au gameplay et venir nous redonner un second souffle avec toujours plus de motivation pour rétablir les "Villes Unis d'Amérique".

    Le système de récompense est très jouissif pour le joueur et a aucun moment je n'ai été ennuyé par le jeu. Death Stranding est basé sur la natation, et même si son système atypique et innovant font de ce jeu un hors norme, il est pour moi l'un des meilleurs jeux vidéo que j'ai pu expérimenter jusqu'à ce jour    … Expand

    In an industry where many action games adhere to familiar formulas, Death Stranding stands out as one of the most unique AAA experiences available. While it does exhibit moments of self-indulgence that border on silliness, Hideo Kojima still deserves admiration for his vision. Keep it up, Hideo.

    When i saw first time gameplay i was like : wtf is this simulation of courier job? Then i decided to buy this game and give it a chance, and i started to enjoyingng storyline the gameplay bossfights and crafting some tools, and i was wrong at start this game is very good, cant wait for Death Strainding 2, Actors also very good.

    I started to play the game last year and eventually put it to the side after being influenced (I confess) by some people calling it a glorified walking simulator, which it is if I'm honest. However, it's so much lore than that!

I'm glad I did, because after what may be considered a long drawl up until chapter 4, the game becomes a true masterpiece.
    It's so much more than what I imagined it to be, and so engrossing that I needed to share it with you guys.
    Kojima is truly a master of his craft, and is in top form in this particular game.
    Guys, don't let the first chapters dissuade you, because you will be missing out on something truly amazing.
    And on a side note, the Social engine for this game is the best I've seen in a long time because it never takes you out of the atmospheric eerie feeling of the game while bringing the best out of people. Love it!! To bad the sequel is only for the Ps5.    … Expand

    What a masterpiece! The story is not easy, but it’s deep and philosophical, not for kids and small minded people. It’s about finding a connection between oneself and humanity. The game really opens up after quite some hours of gameplay. Truly unique!

    Such a fresh, unique gaming experience. It is a slow burner which requires patience and the story requires an open mind. I can understand that simpletons and kids will not enjoy this because it is too slow for them, not enough action for them, they don’t understand what the game is about. I only recommend it to open-minded, conscious people who don’t have ADHD. Masterpiece.

    Death Stranding is truly a game out of our world, for better or worst. It is definetly not for everyone, you need to spend time on things that a lot of peoples will find useless. But there is something about it that make it special. Its open world topography is by far the best / most realistic in the industry.

    Didn´t finish it, (played about 10 hours). it wasn´t what I expected it to be. The dialogue and cutscenes are too drawn out, feels like they weren´t edited. The gameplay is good when delivering packages (the part I liked the most), but stealthing around enemies and running from mules is very annoying and kind of out of place (only gameplay wise, story wise they fit).     If you play for more than a few hours the game mechanics make sense. You learn how to not fall over all the time, how to use stealth, or be brash and loud when needed. The gameplay is super fun. Trying to work out the best route for deliveries to maximise your route and avoid BTs.

    The story as well is so well written and unique. I love the characters and the history they have. Also how all the stories tie in at the end.

    The only really annoying thing in the game for me was the unskippable scene every time your BB detects BTs. If you make mutliple runs this can happen many times and it gets frustrating. Apart from that I highly recommend.    … Expand

    Is it bad if a game isn't all action? No. There are plenty of games that are just relaxing and are perfect for winding down after a hard day of work. This is not one of them. You constantly get interrupted by the oil people coming out of the ground where all you do is mash X and most times its a flip of the coin if they they get you or not and while that happens you listen to a baby bawling in the background. Its the opposite of relaxing, its stressful yet it poses no challenge.

    Hell sometimes it is more efficient to get dragged away by the oil people. since its a random direction it could be in the direction you are heading towards.

    And then there is the world. Its made by an algorithm randomly placing assets. You constantly get stuck on geometry and clip on the terrain. The physics are equally screwed, your character can run down a near vertical slope sometimes and trip on a flat road with no obstacles other times.

    Eventually you unlock vehicles which also get constantly stuck on terrain but since they are so efficient. Its better to spend 20 Minutes jamming it up a mountain and then spend 20 minutes getting to your destination. Than it is spending 5 minutes climbing up the mountain and 1 hour getting to your destination.

    And after all that you are rewarded with an hologram saying "Thank You", that's it.

    And then there is the "action part". The bosses have no way of hurting you and all you do is unload bullets into a sponge. And their designs are dare I say less inspiring than Ubisoft like copy and past, its the same whale like monster Every Single Time.

    The acting in the actual cut-scenes are really good. But is squandered away with writing that constantly switches between powerful emotional mode and im14andthisisdeep mode. Not to mention the gameplay contributes almost nothing to the cut-scenes.

    Go watch the cuteness on Youtube, its better than playing the game.    … Expand

My girlfriend doesn't play video games about the Death Stranding book for her so she can at least experience the story and she absolutely loved it. I am looking forward to playing Death Stranding 2

    Death Stranding looks like a typical Kojima game; the player is catapulted within the first few hours of the game into a sequence of cryptic cutscenes aimed at stimulating the player's curiosity, and right from the start one can understand the highly authorial tone of the work. The location is the USA, in a “post apocalyptic” setting. It is neither coincidental nor strange to understand almost nothing of the plot of this game in the first few hours, but it is precisely where the player does not fully understand the plot that he or she can begin to speculate, later finding themselves with pleasant predictions and surprises as the story progresses. In the first steps within the game, the mechanics that will later be used throughout the playthrough are brilliantly explained, thanks to the accurate level design and the clarity of the main mechanics.

    DELIVERING PACKAGES:
    Death Stranding's gameplay is one of the most talked-about gameplays of 2019; between those who are bored and those who are thrilled, it is undeniable that Death Stranding created something new, which in today's AAA is no small feat. Just giving the game an actual genre is complex, being that it created a new one in its own right. There is no denying that this gameplay, based on merely running from point A to point B is nothing epic, and it may bore the casual gamer, but if you take it the right way it becomes a very relaxing game, given also the mainly natural style of the environment.
    Nonetheless, the game has several mechanics that can delight various types of players and different playstyles; you can rush through the game skipping everything by bike, always go on foot admiring the scenery, or fight looters who will try to steal your cargo. There is of course no shortage of problems, but I will report on them in the game cons later.

    LOOKING THROUGH UNBORN’S EYES:
    Graphically the game is really good, on consoles it looks almost always clean and detailed, on pc you don't notice excessive differences from the console version except for the rendering distance and framerate. The facial animations are decent but the models are superb. Yet another merit is the world design; the use of photogrammetry, the assumption of real environments to give the game a realistic architecture, makes the game incredibly immersive. In addition, the use of lighting and colors is always apt and impeccable.

    “LIKE SOUND EFFECT”:
    On audio level, the game has very few imperfections; it boasts of a soundtrack composed of dozens of songs always used at the right time, some truly catchy osts created specifically for the game, an astronomical cast with some of the best voice actors in the video game world, and a perfect choice of sound effects.

    BUT WHY 9?

    PROS:
    Death Stranding is one of those gems that should be played by those who are fans of exciting and intricate storylines. If what you are looking for is a game purely dedicated to gameplay, it is not the game for you, as that is not what it was created for. The story, world building and characterization of this work is one of the best ever created. All of this is extremely augmented by the fantastic actors used and the great voice actors in the cast. The study of the game's level design is almost always impeccable, and it suppresses the repetitiveness of the base game.

    CONS:
    The cons of the game are several, and they almost all relate to subjective tastes a player might have. Let's start, however, with objective problems; The motorbike; the motorbike is one of those things that are essential to the game, but turn out 80% of the time to be extremely clunky, and you often find yourself stuck, bugged or in impossible situations. Another thing is the facial animations, which as opposed to the facial models, turn out, due to technology, to be very expressive, and there are many scenes that would have been much more exciting with better animations. Obviously the worst negative point of the game is, if given in the hands of a casual player, the lack of franticness, action, and diversity; the presence of numerous cutscenes made many people give up on the game, along with the monotonous gameplay, and this is a shame, but as kojima said, this was calculated, and not everything can please everyone.

The online component of helping each other and being able to leave tools in other plays games and such is much cooler than it initially sounds. Down sides the fighting mechanics seem like a bit of an after thought. The constant reminder about the metaphor of strands and rope gets tiresome pretty quick.     You're a UPS man in a post-apocalyptic world with very little explanation. All you know is your name, and you are soon overloaded with wacky plot points within the first 10 minutes. You'll quickly find yourself asking more questions faster than you get any of them answered. This can be forgiven however. But, you're sucker punched with the most boring, the most tedious gameplay ever imaginable. You walk around delivering packages. You do this by walking huge distances over varying different terrains, while trying to constantly stop yourself from toppling over, while watching the degradation of your cargo, while trying to avoid any enemies you encounter, such as BTs, which initially started as a pretty suspenseful encounter, but quickly become repetitive and simply act only as a way of inhibiting progress. You'll later get a rather lackluster combat system and some pretty cool gear that makes traversal easier, which ironically is the most fun part of this game. If you find yourself getting past the initial boringness and tediousness of the gameplay, you'll progress far enough that you can skip most of the journey. That's great, but when the enjoyment of your game comes from how much time you're willing to waste to make it easier, you probably don't have a very good system. But, that's not all. There's this doozer of a story. The story itself is confusing, and it once again tests your patience. You must ask yourself how much time you're willing to spend to get interested in it, while the story itself it is plagued with amateur writing and dialog at best. The first few hours are cutscene after cutscene. Even sitting in your room is cutscenes of Sam performing the tasks you ask him to. If that wasn't enough, the game treats Sam like he's an amateur in this post-apocalyptic world when he is not. Constantly, Sam is explained the plot points of the story and the mechanics of the game as if he is new to it all. They are there for the player of course, but trying to explain these things through the characters in your game isn't very convincing or good when Sam already knows all these things. It just makes for annoyingly constant exposition that doesn't feel natural. Speaking of the characters, let's get into how awful they are. For one, almost every character you interact with is just a projection. That wouldn't be an issue, but the focal point of the game is about reconnectin the new world. You can never feel truly connected to these people you never meet. If that wasn't enough, you never see the effects your actions have on these people helping. You play errand boy to help these people, and the most you get from it? "Wow! Thank you! This helps a lot! Goodbye now." And if THAT wasn't enough, that's not even considering that Sam doesn't give a jack squat about the goals you're controlling him to achieve. Sam has to be the most uninspiring and unlikable protagonist you'll ever play. He is a massive ass majority of the game. He does not care for the people he's helping. There are parts of the game where he is completely silent or distant from people spilling their hearts out and telling him how much it means to them that he's reconnecting the world. He doesn't care. If the protagonist you control doesn't care about anything he's doing, you can never truly feel connected to that protagonist. Alright, there are some redeeming qualities to this game. It is a nice chill pill. I can see the appeal of sitting back, taking a casual approach to this game, mapping out your route, and just taking in the beautiful scenery this game offers. It has amazing landscapes and stunning artistic visuals, as well as an enjoyable soundtrack. But if you're looking for much else, I advise against it.    … Expand

Awesome game, it’s itself a new kind of video game, with a whole new concept and new way of doing things, of course it requires a lot of time and a lot of common sense and curiosity if you wanna make things simple, for example, I spend hours and hours walking because I didn’t understand how to use the equipment to travel from one part of the map to the other and tried to use the motorbike everywhere, but once you understand the ziplines everything becomes easier. The story is awesome, every character has a lot of personality and enrich the way to the end, it’s a time worthy trip, that everyone should experience and enjoy, Norman Reedus is such a rockstar, just to watch him worth the time. The villain is awesomely made, like all the twists at the end, for sure you won’t regret playing this game. The whole thing last around 40 hours, not going too deep into secondary missions of course.

    If there is one thing to mention, on a negative way, is the Call of Duty parts of the game, or the “Metal Gear” parts coming from Miyazaki, it’s so unnecessary those shooting sessions, and so frustrating, above all at the final hour of the game, when you think it’s over and just keep delaying the end, and shooting the VT is good, but those against Cliff are so bad and it may be the worse part of the whole game.    … Expand

    No representa ningún desafío, su publicidad descarada es molesta, la historia es lo interesante, pero si Kojima quería contar más una historia hubiera hecho una puta película y no este aburridísimo simulador de paquetería, no lo recomiendo para nada.

    Conclusão: Death Stranding é um jogo extremamente controverso, principalmente por suas mecânicas, realmente um jogo difícil de se aproveitar dependendo de como se joga, joguei após lançamento então pude ter uma experiencia muito satisfatória pois o sistema online do mundo dos jogadores se complementarem torna tudo muito mais divertido, tornando uma jogatina mais tranquila e menos punitiva, acredito que caso você tenha jogado no lançamento não tenha aproveitando tanto do seu online e tanha tido uma experiencia não tão interessante mas Death Stranding é sim um game que vale a pena, consegui me divertir muito e sei que nem todos vão ter essa experiencia, realmente é um jogo dificil de se entender tanto enredo quanto sua proposta de gameplay mas acredito que Kojima queria passar para nós uma sensação de dificuldade e realismo que Sam passou em sua jornada para que a cada entrega a gente pudesse sentir que mais um desafio foi concluido assim como os bosses em Dark Souls, muito gente vai achar entediante e acho totalmente compressivel por que as vezes realmente é mas num geral pra mim foi gratificante e sem duvidas me lembrarei desse jogo como um bom refresco entre os grandes lançamentos, uma experiencia unica e estranha porém satisfatória.    … Expand

    The emotional depth thanks to Kojima's storytelling and craziness makes for an awesome experience! Especially one of the most emotionally draining plot twists ever in video game history hits you in the face. However, the pacing especially over the mountain is tedious. Also the game is too easy - almost a masterpiece.

    Если честно я не прочувствовал гениальности, видимо не достоин понять возвышенности гения Кодзимы.     Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
