    They really nail the character, and the game is hilarious and mostly fun. The problem is the control and the camera and the sudden spikes in difficulty. The melee combat is pretty standard, but there were too many times when I got overwhelmed and could tell where attacks were coming from. That's a confusing mess with way to powerful attacks coming from seemingly everywhere. Also, to all developers out there, please put the checkpoint AFTER the cut-scene. No one wants to re-watch the same thing after dying the 15th time.
    Overall it is a good time. I just wish they polished the gameplay a bit, because they clearly put a lot of time into the comedy.    … Expand

    More or less what I was expecting: a real funny but not sophisticated game.

    Graphics and gameplay are really poor (it reminds you the old PS2 times), but this is normal taking into account it is not a super-production.

    Give it a chance, at least, you are gonna laugh.

    Deadpool is... fine. Better than you'd expect, worse than you'd hope. The gameplay, while sometimes very stiff, is still varied and fun. There's a wide variety of combos and weapons and you'll need to constantly be on your toes to adapt to all of the new things they throw at you. However there are some technical issues. There are some points where the framerate does suffer and even whenDeadpool is... fine. Better than you'd expect, worse than you'd hope. The gameplay, while sometimes very stiff, is still varied and fun. There's a wide variety of combos and weapons and you'll need to constantly be on your toes to adapt to all of the new things they throw at you. However there are some technical issues. There are some points where the framerate does suffer and even when it's not, the general flow of the game, namely between attacks or during platforming, can feel awkward. Aside from those occasional frame drops, I haven't encountered a single bug.

    The humor, if you're into low-brow poop, dick and fart jokes are well done. Again, well done for poop, dick and fart jokes.

    In summary, it's ok. Nothing phenomenal for the character action genre, but an ejoyable, semi-replayable romp nonetheless.    … Expand

    Ah Deadpool. He literally tears up the script right before your eyes. So expecting a masterpiece would just not be smart. The game is funny and sometimes fun to play, but it gets boring and repetitive too quick.

    Deadpool is one of my favourite comic book characters of all time, so when I heard that the game was being remastered for PS4, I bought it straight away. And I love the game.
    Deadpool is centred around, you guessed it, Deadpool, with High Moon doing a great job of illustrating his hilarious personality and constant breaking of the fourth wall, with Deadpool constantly disobeying the    Deadpool is one of my favourite comic book characters of all time, so when I heard that the game was being remastered for PS4, I bought it straight away. And I love the game.
    Deadpool is centred around, you guessed it, Deadpool, with High Moon doing a great job of illustrating his hilarious personality and constant breaking of the fourth wall, with Deadpool constantly disobeying the script.
    During the story, Deadpool has to rescue Chance White from the malicious Mr. Sinister, teaming up with old friends like Cable, and even some of the X-Men like Wolverine. Deadpool is equipped with katanas and guns, all of which can be upgraded with Deadpool Points (DP), in-game currency found everywhere in the game. The levels in Deadpool have also had so much detail put into them, being chock full of exploration, and making sure you search every nook and cranny before advancing.
    However, the games does have some downsides. The length of game is just too short - the game is so good and hilarious that when you reach the end, and you realise how short it is, you probably get angry because you paid full price for it. On the other hand, the graphics seem decent, and while there are occasional freezes, still a good remaster, which is in my opinion just as good as the Xbox 360 and PS3 version. However, I probably wouldn't pay full price for the game.    … Expand

    Ya know I knew going in and it being Activision that the game was going to be a lazy cash grab port, I get that and purchased anyway to support a game that will hopefully one day get a sequel. Its the same game in every way as the PS3/360 versions but now in 1080p BUT........

    Iron Galaxy was in charge of the porting, that right there should kind of be a warning sign, the ONLY half way    Ya know I knew going in and it being Activision that the game was going to be a lazy cash grab port, I get that and purchased anyway to support a game that will hopefully one day get a sequel. Its the same game in every way as the PS3/360 versions but now in 1080p BUT........

    Iron Galaxy was in charge of the porting, that right there should kind of be a warning sign, the ONLY half way decent port they have done was the Handsome Collection. Im honestly not sure how Deadpool even got certified, while playing it will periodically freeze for a spit second almost everywhere, standing still, fighting enemies, fighting a boss, in the upgrade screen, in a cutscene everywhere......Being as its a port I somehow doubt it will get fixed either since generally 99% of ports/remasters NEVER get problems fixed.

    IF you loved the game on PS3/360 it could be worth it for another play but not until its fixed IF its fixed, luckily I was able to get a refund maybe I'll pick it back up IF I hear the freezing issue gets fixed, I know for a fact its the game because the other 93 games I own on PS4 all work perfectly....    … Expand

    Deadpool Remastered is a very fun game, the story is very funny, but too short. The gameplay is simple, easy and repetitive. There was no visual improvement in this version, and nothing further. Remastered Deadpool is a good game but short and repetitive without anything new. 7.5 / 10

    If like Deadpool, if you enjoyed even if for a brief moment the game on pc/360/ps3... Do yourself a favor: DONT BUY this crap "remaster".
    The game is like you just changed the resolution to 1080p on the same old hardware.
    Bugs, freezes, glitches.
    A really bad port. Dont buy this. Thanks

    Part 2. Edit from my previous post. Yes, you can play through the game, by selecting levels with the previous leveled perks. So, disregard that comment. The rest I hold to in my initial review.

Lo bueno es que se apega mucho al personaje, se pone buenos chistes y referencias al comic. Se recomienda este juego.

    Dont see why all the hate ..... yeah its not the most refined game but i had a blast playing it. Completely worth the 15 bucks it cost now. If u like deadpool its worth it.

    A bit of a slog to play. It's funny and has some fun sections to play through. Plus Nolan North is fantastic. But, the game-play and overall structure of the game is just boring.

    The game itself is a decent action game and kept me entertained until the end. There are a few different melee and ranged weapon options, special combos you unlock, etc. Deadpool fans will enjoy the references and the different characters from the Marvel universe. People who aren't as familiar with the Deadpool series will probably still enjoy the crude humour and a lot of the Easter Eggs.The game itself is a decent action game and kept me entertained until the end. The only real issue I had with the game is it occasionally would have split second freezes/lag which would cause problems with certain platforming and fight areas. From what I have read this is a fairly common issue and it is disappointing it was never patched, I probably would have went with a 7.5/10 if it didn't have that problem.For the $10-$20 it costs I would still recommend it even with the lag issues though.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. this game is hilarious. the gameplay is good but the comedy is the best. one example is when deadpool is taking a piss next to 2 guards and comments on there small cocks before shooting them in the head. the only downside is that the game lacks actual naked girls. if they make a sequel we should get to see all of the attractive female characters nude! including death!… Expand

    Fun game, yeah it's ha many flaws but we don't have another one better deadpool game. Many jokes don't land but the other half is pretty good make you laugh here and there. I thing if high moon had better budget they would make a better game here.

    Just as crazy as Deadpool himself, this is the game that every Deadpool fanboy wants, The game's narration and story and the ending are hilarious, the action packed combats with a variety of Deadpool weaponry makes it an awesome experience

    It's a 10 for 10 for me it's the best game I've ever play in my life. It's has great mission and you even can play in challenges how long you can survive. Please make a Deadpool 2 game I want to keep on playing more Deadpool it's the best and he is very funny in this game

    The game is a fun hack n slash, if you´re a deadpool fan, must play it. Deadpool is hilarious, also the game breaks the 4th wall, just like the comics.
    It has 3 kinds of melee weapons and 4 weapons, combos are combined between the 2. You can grab a used game and try it. Hope they make a 2nd game.

    O jogo que não consegui entender a nota dos críticos... O jogo perfeito do Deadpool. Se você gosta de hack and slash, vai curtir muito. História engraçada, personagens, gameplay. Não ultra foda, mas muito bom. Poderia ser um pouco maior, ter mais coisas talvez... Não sei sugerir.

    Not a bad game but it’s not a good/great game either. The gameplay is super repetitive and some of the jokes I found to be very bland compared to other portrayals of deadpool. The art style was possible my favorite along with the leveling up mechanic. Short and decent game to play and get some easy trophies on.

    The remaster of Deadpool is not really a remaster. It's more like a port. The game is not really brushed up and offers repetitive gameplay.

    The combat is average at best (and downright poor at worst), while the less said about the platforming sections the better. Nothing here is broken, (a case of damning with faint praise if ever there was one), but honestly, the sense of disappointment is often palpable given the overriding sense of this being a horribly missed opportunity.
