    Did you see that? Oh yes, its me flying because a bear hit me and i hacked the code. Ok, nope. Days gone has bugs, yep. It is kind of repetitive, also true. But is it enjoyable and fun? Absolutely. The way you have to wait to fight the hordes, like if you were actually there, LIVING your fantasy zombie life, it's giving me the adrenaline i need.

    I’ve played numerous “zombie” games, but none have pulled me in like this game.

    The story is great from start to finish. The survival instincts such as fueling up your bike make you really focus on what you’re doing, as your motorcycle is your lifeline and without gas, you’re a worm on a hook waiting to be eaten. I’ve completed this game probably 5-6 times and it’s still 1 of the 1st    I’ve played numerous “zombie” games, but none have pulled me in like this game.

    I’ve completed this game probably 5-6 times and it’s still 1 of the 1st games I’ll put in the PS4 when I need to unwind from a day at work.

    Just awesome. Beautiful world, great story and gameplay that lets you play the game any way you like. Some of the character acting by minors is cringeworthy, there are graphic glitches every often but who cares about that? One of the very few open world games I've been gutted to finish, I was never bored. While it's clear the game has some flaws they don't deserve to drag this title down.Just awesome.     Days Gone is one of the best zombie games that ever made. The story and feeling of the game was just amazing. It was fun game with open world. Had around 40hours in the game and it was so emotional. Hope they make Days Gone 2.

    Days Gone suffered a lot due to various bugs, the game has an open atmospheric world with infected people, the plot is unfortunately not so interesting, riding a motorcycle and survival elements are done well, but after a while everything gets boring

    its been a very long time since I enjoyed playing a video game, i loved the graphics, story, music & the characters.

    The most underrated game in my opinion. A very interesting zombie apocalypse with a Lite version of the survival simulator. Shooting freakers, crafting, motorcycle riding, what more could you want...

    Superb zombie-slaying combat and enjoyable motorcycle gameplay are integrated perfectly with a well-paced story. But the game’s major highlights are the terrifying zombie hordes which are unlike anything seen in a videogame so far.

    Que jogo sensacional! Pude joga-lo no PS5 e fui ter essa experiência somente agora em 2023, e tive uma enorme surpresa em relação a qualidade do game em todos os aspectos. Possui belos visuais, gráficos e ambientação, além de entregar um mundo aberto com uma variedade enorme de conteúdo. Mas o ponto mais alto é a gameplay. Extremamente satisfatória e viciante.

    Precisamos de Days Gone 2.

(this is my review which is being written after earning the platinum trophy for Days Gone) After hearing how this game was extremely under appreciated at launch i was very excited to jump into Days Gone. I was mildly disappointed. The story takes so long to get interesting. when it picks up it gets really good. but by that point i just want the game to be over. The story alone is easily a 8/10. but the games poor gunplay and memorable open world bring it down by a lot. The entire game is basically an errand simulator, running jobs for the various camp leaders. doing bounties, taking out enemy camps, and rescuing hostages, all for **** camp owners (except Iron Mike he was the one defend camp leader, rip) who don’t give a damn about the people in their camps. the first half of the games slow boring story is taken up by keeping boozer alive. the next half is still more errands until you learn that Deacons wife is still alive and you know where she is. the last 1/4 of the game is working with the militia to blend in so you can help break out Sarah. The last stretch of the game is easily the best part. Destroying the militia camp that has done sarah so wrong and pissed everyone off for the time in that camp. Even that segment of the game is held back by the terrible gunplay. managing the bike is a pain in the ass. that’s all about the bike.

    The idea of this game taking place in a post apocalyptic world is there at the very beginning, but slowly goes away the more you progress. With the merchants selling everything you could possibly need. Ammo, guns, gasoline for your bike, and everything you could possibly need in the apocalypse. If you want to play a good zombie type game. there’s plenty of better options than this, i would recommend dying light, or the last of us. Overall decent story, Terrible, unoriginal gun combat, lame open world, and **** Colonel Garret. 6/10    … Expand

Игровой мир погружает игрока в свою атмосферу, атмосферу которая удивляет мельчайшими деталями. Игрок глядя на очередную трагическую сцену, словно читает как открытой книге, что здесь произошло несколько дней, часов илиСчитаю Days Gone шедевром. Игра удивляет соотношением качества картинки и оптимизацией. При довольно скромных системных требованиях игра выдаёт просто шикарную картинку. Игровой мир погружает игрока в свою атмосферу, атмосферу которая удивляет мельчайшими деталями. Игрок глядя на очередную трагическую сцену, словно читает как открытой книге, что здесь произошло несколько дней, часов или минут назад. Открытый мир постоянно генерирует случайные события, будь то стычки между бандами мародёров, или нападение фриков. Причём это не заранее прописанные события как RDR-2 а действительно случайное стечение обстоятельств. На лагеря выживших нападают банды и сектанты. Если бы разработчики реализовали рандомные нападения небольших орд фриков на лагеря выживших, можно было сказать что в игре есть полноценная симуляция жизни. Фрики в игре представлены как враги всего живого, они нападают как на заражённых животных (мутантов) так и на обычных. Популяция фриков имеет в игре несколько видов, каждый из видов имеет свою модель поведения; например самые слабые - (шакалы) Ведут себя крайне осторожно и нападают на игрока только в крайнем случае, обычные фрики более мощные и атакуют сразу как только увидят. Есть и более опасные, агрессивно настроены и могут разорвать на части даже несколько обычных фриков. Животный мир очень скромен; олени, волки, медведи из птиц только вороны. Однако учитывая что есть ещё и мутировавшие животные, небольшая разновидность не кажется минусом. По понятным причинам, ведь помимо животных и мутантов повсюду обитают и многочисленные орды. Не буду вдаваться в подробности сюжетной части игры, для боевика в мире пост апокалипсиса он мне показался отличным. Как и в RDR 2 сюжет развивается неспешно, примерно после 1/3 игры начинает набирать обороты. Из минусов хотелось бы упомянуть про реализацию некоторых игровых условностей. Байк в игре реализован очень хорошо, чувствуется поверхность грунта и инерция. Есть тюнинг, кастомизация и прочие фишки. Однако начальные характеристики бензобака вызывают ощущение, что в бак помещается только пару стаканов топлива. После 2/3 прохождения игры ситуация выправляется, однако непонятно чем руководствовались разработчики выставив такие характеристики бензобакам на начальных этапах игры. Так - же не понравилось излишне хрупкое холодное оружие, судите сами; кувалда разлетается после десятка ударов по нескольким фрикам. Считаю что Days Gone незаслуженно оценили в угоду нынешней повестке; Белый мужик, сексист, натурал, все эти качества главного героя не подходят для шедевра нынешней игровой прессе. Видимо поэтому оценки игроков значительно выше чем у экспертов которые оценивают игры через призму нынешних норм навязываемых игровому сообществу.… Expand

    This game was incredible!!! I played it a while after it came out so def did not see the bugs the critics complained about. The story and acting were good. Gorgeous game. Loved the action and stealth. The bike is amazing once you start upgrading. The game had great pacing and was challenging. I am so disappointed they aren’t doing a sequel.

Já a parte técnica é a que mais peca no jogo, com diversos problemas de animação, textura e IA do game, que em alguns momentosA gameplay de Days Gone é excelente, em quesitos de armas, progressão e principalmente as melhorias da moto. Em relação à história, Days Gone traz uma construção interessante na maior parte dos personagens, todavia, senti falta de mais tempo de tela para alguns. Já a parte técnica é a que mais peca no jogo, com diversos problemas de animação, textura e IA do game, que em alguns momentos interferem na experiência da obra.

    The journey throughout this game was full of ups and downs for me. While a admire the devs initiative in trying to redefine a genre, my final sentiment was that the final vision was far from being accomplished.

    Unfortunately the story felt too long and predictable and I only could get emotionally invested in it in the final part of the game, with special mention to the incredibly boring flashbacks. The antagonists are not very interesting and didn't provide any surprises or meaningful plot twists.

    Nevertheless the game can be fun and I had a good time playing it in most of the times. Riding with your bike throughout beautiful landscapes felt really nice. The art style and character models and scenarios are top tier, with special mention to the actor who plays the main protagonist, who was excellent and really put his heart in the role.

    The problems start when you realise the lack of polishing in most game mechanics and the absurd lack of mission variety. It really feels that you are kept doing the same 3 missions over and over gain during the whole game, being that either a variation of tracking a bounty, eliminate an enemy camp or bring an item to someone.

    Stealth felt pointless and too repetitive and always with the same outcomes. Character progression is too linear and the skills you unlock are not very exciting. Most of them feel like things you should already be able to do since the beginning. The gun play is enjoyable, with a decent but yet limited variety of weapons that don't play very different from each other. Most of times it feels the game just makes you grind for more powerful versions of the same guns.

    While the open world is cool and looks great it was not well designed for exploration. There is nothing to do outside of scripted mission. The eventual question marks that will pop in your map will only lead you to a limited variety of boring and recycled encounters with animals, bandit ambushes or a corpse to be looted. At some point I just stopped chasing them. The day/night cycle could have been used better. As far as I could tell it only alters enemy populations.

    Now, the horde system is really good. Until later in the game they feel really threatening and taking down your first horde is on of the emotional highlights of the game. Once you start doing that frequently you can develop your own tactics and have fun with it.

    Overall I feel this is an above average good game that was far from achieving it's full potential but yet I look forward to play a sequel.

    Gameplay de combate razoável, nada de se esperar.
    Dirigibilidade com a mota é algo muito prazeroso de ser fazer no vasto mapa de Days Gone.
    O jogo está lotado de bugs de textura, crash e bug na hora do combate.
    Gráficos são bons.
    Jogo razoavelmente bom.

    I am currently approximately 75% through the game and it is now one of my top 5 best games i have ever played. I had days gone since release but i never played it because of the prologue and how boring it was. Once i beat the prologue the story became very interesting and engaging. I am enjoying the game very much and i really do not want it to end.     O melhor jogo da Sony que já joguei, não sei muito o que dizer, o jogo é sensacional, é realmente um jogo de sobrevivência, você anda por lugares destruídos e cheios de perigos, o mapa tá rodeado de zumbís, animais perigosos, seres humanos montando armadilhas pra você, e também você encontra com sobreviventes em perigo que você pode ajuda-los. A mecânica de abastecer a moto e consertar aO melhor jogo da Sony que já joguei, não sei muito o que dizer, o jogo é sensacional, é realmente um jogo de sobrevivência, você anda por lugares destruídos e cheios de perigos, o mapa tá rodeado de zumbís, animais perigosos, seres humanos montando armadilhas pra você, e também você encontra com sobreviventes em perigo que você pode ajuda-los. A mecânica de abastecer a moto e consertar a moto deixa o jogo ainda mais realista e mais sobrevivente, os controles são ótimos, achei muito gostoso dirigir a moto no dualshock. Yes, its formula is a bit generic, reminiscent of The Last Of Us with the protagonist Deacon St John (Deek) on a journey of mid America surviving infected "freakers" whilst crafting items and the such, but I like these type of games; killing "freakers" and baddies, working for better weapon upgrades, salvaging scrap for crafting, going onLove this game!     The critics are delusional!!! The gameplay is excellent, the game world is beautiful, harrowingly so. The story might not be enjoyed by game journalists, but gamers feel otherwise as reflected in the sales figures. Just a great game. If in doubt, play it. Cool bike mechanics, Phenomenal hoard enemies in the game.

    One of the games that i enjoyed in the ps4. Better than ghost of tsushima. The environment is very diverse and looks realistic with real time weather changes. The story is actually quite engaging. I thought t it was a generic zombie story but i actually fell in lobe with the characters. The game grows on you the longer you play.

Seemed like it would have a bunch of kind of done to death tropes (angsty white loner dude with a fridged wife being dangerous and in pain but also a hero, etc), but it got crazy and subverted so many expectations—even the Apocalypse Dad adopts Young Girl arc was super different, and I loved that. By the second Act, all bets are off and the game goes wild. I can’t express this as well as I wish, but it was the most novel game I’ve played in years. Very unpolished, but in an entirely good way. So many AAA tittles feel like nobody beyond the PC & maybe a few friends are real people, and even when those games are good, so many are still. …So tailored down from an idea to a product, that they really lose something. This game is absolutely an idea far too /big/ for its product, but I loved that, and you have everything that wanted to get in seeping through the pores. It felt a little more friendly and personal too, like tabletop games with friends can. Like playing a story about all these people, instead of a story about one specific perfect script, and I really loved that, because it’s so rare. It subverted expectations, always in a good way, constantly, and it had the tension and interest of a crazy high stakes scenario, while also carrying the more enjoyable vibes of ‘this is just some guy trying to live and care about his life and the other people he love’s lives.’ I often struggle to finish open world games because if I lose focus, it can seem not worth the effort to get back into it, but I 100%ed Days Gone in two weeks of very enjoyable grinding. It sucks for them they made a plague game eerily uhhh, familiar now, right before Covid hit, because it’s a great game. It’s not a perfect game. Some technical errors are there—I had trouble with renders sometimes, and it’s possible to miss little bits of a mission by hitting areas too fast, that kind of thing—I clipped through a dock once. But that’s kind of expected for anything open world, and for a new IP that had a crew of like 43 when it started, honestly I’m impressed there wasn’t more. Basically all the downsides are technical, though, and I personally don’t mind some technical issues if the game is worth it, so I’m giving this a 10 just the same, because if I weigh the good and bad, the good half of the scale is easily enough to counter-balance the negatives /and/ still hit a ten for me. If you have a huge focus on technical perfection or don’t care much about story in your games, this might not be the game for you, but if you play for characters and/or story, I absolutely recommend sticking it out until Act II at least and giving it a fair shot; this game more than pays you back.
    I’m thrilled. This is the most I’ve enjoyed a game in a while, and I didn’t expect to as much as I did, or how I did. An extremely unique IP, that did something different that I valued, and am very grateful I got to play. The supporting cast was great, O’Brian is I think the best voice performance I’ve seen in years, Sarah’s whole story arc was a baller play that subverted like 18 bad tropes, minor & secondary characters get justice in their storylines instead of being forgotten (IE you have a whole major plotline for helping your brother’s mental health after something really bad, that lasts /through/ the game finale, instead of the game being like ‘it’s the apocalypse so nothing but fighting or the MC’s main quest matters’), and Deacon goes through so much character development I was routinely surprised by him in ACT III, & impressed, & he went from someone I would have no problems with but wouldn’t especially like either, to someone I’d get up and cheer for or fight back to back with by the game end. And I really can’t stress how well done he was.

    On top of that, the soundtrack is easily one of the most beautiful and memorable I’ve heard, and the zombie origin/lore was one of the most thorough, fascinating, and honestly emotional and gripping ones I’ve ever seen. Random encounters that reminded you these things have moments where they remember being human, or maybe could be cured someday, was a game changer for how I approached it. I won’t forget the first time I heard a woman humming happily and thought it was a civilian nearby, but when I went to look, it was a freaker humming to herself because there was no threat or prey nearby, and she was happy.

    There’s definitely stuff that could have been better, and some technical issues. This is not a perfect game. But what it is, is a game you won’t find something similar to anywhere else. It’s a far more gripping and unique title than I’ve played in a long, long time, and this story in a still kind of raw form, I enjoyed exponentially more than I have any polished game like it in years. It made me happy to play, and interested, and invested, and finally, satisfied. I’m very glad it was made.    … Expand

It looks damn good and the frame rate is rarely ever not 60fps. The story is great. It takes time, but it builds and it gets intense. The hordes are so intense too. I love how there is unique type of freakers. The bleachers, ragers, screamers and more. The rippers are just amazingly evil and with such depth. It’s a dark story for sure. The gameplay is nearly perfect, with some small glitches. But overall this is a game worth the time. I can’t overstate how much I like it. 10/10… Expand

    Honestly one of my favorite zombie survival games to date. I was enthralled from start to finish and I'm honestly dissapointed to hear they're not making a sequel. Huge props to bend studio for bringing this game to life but again, no sequel leaves me feeling kinda burned

Bend studio did something that few developers can do for the first time, they created a successful open world much like the Gorilla games studio I am a fan of open worlds I went horizont (2x) I stuck platinum the witcher (2x) ghoust of tsusima and many others but Days gone was my best time a beautiful game, the world presented is extremely immersive changing weather conditions riding a motorbike something beautiful traveling through this world was fun there was no other game so enjoyable for traversing the world fun combat addictive history and very believable characters which I really cared about
    I feel sorry that this studio does not exist anymore because the studio is created by people Jeff Ross John Garvin and if it came out days gone 2 without these people, there wouldn't be days gon anymore

I only played this game when it was free as part of PS Plus collection. All I can say is, whatever problems Days Gone has at launch, must have been fixed by the time I played it. Some of the cut scenes weren't put together that well, and there were minor glitches throughout.     This game was sooooooo underrated. The detail and graphics are insane. Story is awesome. Never got old. Second half takes right off. Better looking than most next gen. I know I'm late to the party, but damn. I am blown away that people rated this so low, in my opinion. It needs a sequel.

Han logrado que un mundo postapocaliptico deshabitado se sienta realmente vivo,Days Gone es uno de los mejores videojuegos que se han **** en la historia. El mundo de Oregon técnicamente y artísticamente es abrumador, la conducción y su sensación es perfecta, la jugabilidad y la historia son muy buenas, la customizacion, las armas, las IA de los enemigos y las colmenas son soberbios. Han logrado que un mundo postapocaliptico deshabitado se sienta realmente vivo, súper inmerso, es realmente divertido y dinámico, dentro de sus posibilidades y mecánicas es asombroso. Se puede entrar en todas las casas, recolectar recursos y materiales del mundo para crear armas, todo tipo de artefactos, flechas, silenciadores, cápsulas y un largo etc. mención especial para el apartado gráfico que está perfectamente a la altura de Uncharted solo que Days Gone lo hace en mundo abierto. El tema de estar pendiente de la gasolina y tantas cosas más demuestra lo coherente y lo bien pesando que está todo. Hace uso del sigilo también, como el ruido atrae a los infectados y la diversidad den tipos de infectados, la chillona y tantos más. El tema de las colmenas es impresionante como este juego soporta esa carga de elementos en pantallas y podría seguir con todas las cosas que tiene este juego. Artísticamente para ser un ambiente postapocaliptico de montaña no se hace monótono. Cosa que ya se intuía en Last Behind y porque les pones una trama cojonuda, de **** narrativa mente es lo mejor que se ha creado jamás, con un giro increible que te obliga a enfrentarte a ti mismo y resulta que no entendieron nada, parece ser que la excelencia no es soportada por algunos. En fin, llegará otro Grand The Auto para ofrecer lo mismo de siempre y… un 10. Hay juegos que poco importa como sean, tendrán un 20 porque la nota se la ponen a la compañía no al producto. Starfield ya tiene un 10, y lo tiene desde el día que mostró una ilustración y logotipo, nadador sabía nada acerca del juego pero… es un juego de 10. Y mientras joyas como Days Gone se han enterrado. Ánimo a los que no lo hayan jugado. Solo a personas con criterio y gusto desarrollado, con criterio artístico, que aprecien la calidad de un producto y lo comprenden porque solo este tipo de consumidor será capaz de apreciar, amar y recordar para siempre Days Gone, porque en esencia es eso, un juego memorable, único e irrepetible que amarán.

But Days Gone does a lot right, it's a bit like The Last of Us with motorcycles, yet it has a soul all it's own. Very strange to see pockets of unpolished gameplay from a company with a pedigree like Sony, (i.e. saving theIf they could have launched with better performance we might have had a sequel by now. All the patches that made a smooth experience were a day late and a dollar short. But Days Gone does a lot right, it's a bit like The Last of Us with motorcycles, yet it has a soul all it's own.     Special Pro: I ended the main story, I still come back to this game, as sometimes I do with GTA V - to explore, kill zombies, and make new strategies to kill more zombies - it's fun and enjoyable! It is definitely the type of game that makes you enjoy gaming again and makes you calmer after a rough day. Due to this reason alone, it's my top 3 games. I would definitely insta buy Days Gone 2.

    Cons:
    -Sometimes, just decent facial animations
    -Cliche start of a story, that eventually catches up and becomes a PRO

    The game is **** amazing! Deacon finds and **** Sarah. Rikki wants to shag Deacon but he is unfortunately taken. The weapon merchant at Lost Lake, Blair, also wants a shag. Also Wade Taylor wants to bang Sarah as well. Weaver also wants to hit that a$$. Colonel Garrett is gay and wants to shag skizzo. Addy doesn't make it obvious but she also wants the d from deek. He was a depressed sack of **** who looks like he got eaten by an alligator in red dead 2. Leon was a sick character. They killed him off so quickly. Ffs. O Brian sounds like he wants to shag sarah. He keeps stalling. He keeps saying she's dead but realistically she's probably waiting for him in bed at a Nero research sight. O Brian is a little **** He turns out to be a new variant of the freakers like Covid-19. The girl who stabbed Sarah before she got on the chopper is the true MVP of the game. The name tucker sounds like the name of a male. But it's a female. Lisa somehow reminds Deacon of Sarah's younger sister. Lisa is a crazy ass **** who gets saved by a loud ass deacon from the rippers. Speaking of Deacon, this guy loves to scream whilst he is on his bike. Somehow can be right next to him and he'll still shout. If this game was realistic, Deacon would attract hordes after hordes and would be dead already. He's essentially a male screamer but still has his sanity.… Expand

    Best open world game I've played. The characters are great, and everyone shows legitimate, meaningful growth over the course of the game.
    Voice acting is spot on, and the music and audio overall is fantastic.
    Story was amazing, and kept evolving and changing in unexpected ways. Even after it was done, I went back in and finished every story line to 100%, which I never do.     Sad that critics didn't give this the chance it deserved, this is an absolute gem, a must play, even if it's not getting the sequel it sets up, and deserves.

    I would recommend this game to every apocalypse fan. Playing this game was the best time of my life. We hope for a sequel.

    Es un muy buen juego de mundo abierto el cual opino que todos deberían de jugar, obviamente no es perfecto pero cumple con lo que promete. Espero y saquen la secuela

    Cumpre o seu papel, acompanha de uma história bacana e uma gameplay interessante.
    Days Gone é um bom jogo para se jogar, apesar de em determinado momento aparentar ser pouco repetitivo e exaustivo, já que não fornece tanta gama de opções pós terminar a história.

    This game has it all! I played both on the PS4 when it just came out and left it because the loading times was very slow (this is why I game it 9), once I switched and started playing on the PS5, the game loading times significantly decreased.
    The combat system is very joyfull, the enemies are challenging and the missions are greate but little bit repitative.

    Bend Studio made a great game with a rich, believable and captivating story. They’ve also resisted the lure of trends: there’s no multiplayer, no lootboxes, no “game as a service” plans – just a very solid (and finite) singleplayer experience.     At the beginning of the game you’ll feel like you've already played this game... then it will let you go for a while only to return with reinforcements (and lots of bugs). However, Days Gone has a couple of pleasant moments, that can't be denied. [Issue#295]

    I expect and hope for a sequel. Just know that going into this game that there is a lot of tedious nonsense to pad out a really good game to make it feel more worth every dollar, much to its detriment. I want to give this game a better score because the best moments are so good, but the large portion of this game is so bloody tiring that I just can’t.
