    This game is the only game i really recommend everyone to be playing. Because its a fantastic game right from the start to finish! And story behind it is exceptionel!

    Este juego literalmente es un sueño para muchos jugadores, tiene una combinación muy atractiva para un juego de acción y aventura, es una lastima que su rendimiento deje bastante que desear pero una vez que te acostumbras es un juego simplemente sublime tanto por su jugabilidad como por su calidad de contenido.

    Best open-world zombie game ever made! This game seriously needs to get a sequel, this is absolutely unfair that boring sequels like Horizon 2 get made, but not Days Gone 2? Come on.

    O days gone é um bom jogo, mas falta personalidade , capricho , por parte dos desenvolvedores.
    A sensação que fica é que o game não esta polido , falta detalhes de gameplay.
    a historia não é ruin , mas o tempo de jogo faz a historia ficar irrelevante.
    as hordas são legais.
    o gráfico é bonito.
    a inteligência artificial é péssima.
    as expressão faciais são ok.

    Um jogo injustiçado por muitos que não sabem apreciar um jogo de mundo aberto com uma ótima historia, apesar dos bugs no seu lançamento hoje sua versão definitiva no PS5 realmente trás os 100% esperado, agora e saber se vamos ter um Days Gone 2 e ver o final da historia.

When it is about Days Gone I must say that it is one of these games that atract you at first, secondly you start feeling a little bored because you don't know many things about the game, but then the story starts to grow up in you, you unlock skills, weapons and things like that inAnd what about Days Gone in 2023? About the world of Days Gone I must say 10/10. The map is HUGE, there are many different areas and everyone feels new and existing. Unlike GTA, you can enter any building, searching for supplies. About the mechanics in Days Gone, I must say that the shooting is very well made and the stealth is cool. It's like in the other popular games. In my opinion the best mechanic in the game is the bike. It feels so real and fun. At overall I give the mechanics 8.5, 9/10. About the NPCs in the game, they aren't so intelligent. I can't say that in other games the npcs feel very realistic, but in Days Gone they look dumper, because their range of sight is like one meter in front of them. It feels like they don't have side vision and sometimes in battles they are hiding in places where I can shoot them even blinded. The stupid thing about them is that they don't change the tacktics when it isn't good, and when somebody of their group dies they don't have the right emotions. For me this was the worst part of the game and I give it 6/10. About the story I can say that it isn't some very emotional masterpiece, but it is one pretty love story. The best part about it was that the hope Deacon will find Dara, was graduating higher and lower and that made the srory unpredictable which, for me, is the most important thing about one story. I agree with the critics that sometimes missions are very repetitive. For me it isn't so much about the same task you need to do, but for the level design of the place you need to do it. For example you get several bounty hunter jobs. If every job was connected with something different like new places, with new mechanics to use and different tacktics, the repetitive goal of the jobs wouldn't be a problem. Yes every cam is placed in different place, but it it's like something is repeating. Like the same rocks you need to climb, like the same barriers you need to crouch behind. It would be better if like in The Last Of Us 2, you can crouch under vehicle, you face different enemies not only on outlook, but on skills. It would be cool if someones try to stealth kill you, not every time do it the savage way. About the gameplay it is very fun, but it feels like it isn't so much surviving. It would be cool if you need to drink, if you can swim, if you need to eat the meat from animals and if the game was made in a way, you have to explore the world more careful for dangers. Like that the feeling would be more survival. And about the hunting, the idea is good, but there are several bad things about it. First of all the hunting system is very simple which makes the hunting very unattractive. The animals in this game act very stupid. For example when deer sees Deacon it goes in front of his bike or just running in circle around him instead fastly hide in the forest. The wolves are also stupid because they get you of the bike but when they are close to you, the wolves just go around you so Deacon can taking damage on them and they don't do andything for these several seconds. After that the take one bite and the same thing repeats. So for me the gameplay is around 7.5/8 because of the stupid NPCs and animals and the bad hunting system which could be a great experience if it was made better. So my overall experience with Days Gone is around 7, 8.5/10. Yes it isn't a perfect game and that is because of the not very big team of Bend Studio, but it is one very funny experience and if you look the good things about it, you will find them in a big amount te through the game. For a small studio like this, a huge game with giant map and 50 hours story, this is enormous step. I think there should be definitely sequel of Day Gone, firstly because the story isn't ended, secondly because I think with the experience and the materials, 3d models, the map Bend Studio have, they will make the sequel faster, with mote quality and I am sure that they will try to remove all the weak sides of this game. So it is surprising that they even made the game and if we give it a second chance it will surprise us good. I give it scote of 10, because I believe in this studio and I know that this franchise is able to even beat the last of us. Lately I see that this game has more and more good reviews just because more people realise that this ge takes time to get to your heart and not everything should be love from the first sight.… Expand

    I am currently approximately 75% through the game and it is now one of my top 5 best games i have ever played. I had days gone since release but i never played it because of the prologue and how boring it was. Once i beat the prologue the story became very interesting and engaging. I am enjoying the game very much and i really do not want it to end. Graphically looks superb (especially on the PS5 with the 60fps patch)

    One of my favourite open worlds to play and it was rare I even felt the desire to fast travel such was the fun in just riding my bike from place to place with the great soundtrack in the background. Solid combat, decent gun-play, And the Hordes, oh, the Hordes. The first time you come across one (in my case rail-yard), panic sets in, run, shoot wildly at anything, run some more, panic some more. By the time you are facing the endgame hordes, your development represents the characters development, careful, thought out, traps, pinch points, more traps, more pinch points. You're an old hand by now.

    One criticism I've seen is the characters but I loved them, flaws and all.

    The only reason I am not giving it a full 10, is because, nothing is perfect. Or maybe Days Gone is?    … Expand

    Both crooked and lame. Especially the junction of gameplay and cut scenes, the moments of docking are very crooked.

    Shis is a pretty good game; my really favorite open world game to be honest. Love how they design the story line so much good. Everything just matches to others at the end of the game, and how my time spent at side quests just make me a pretty good ending. hopefully there will be season 2 when Deek face with tougher enemies.

Had I stopped playing after the first 10 hours of this game, I might have given it an 8 because I enjoy open-world games with resource finding and conservation elements. I liked my lookout tower with its gorgeous views and scattered resources. Resources that I was determined to save for emergencies. The protagonist was boring and dreary, but I'm used to that from these kinds of games. I've come to expect to be playing as a person who is a child's idea of a tough guy.

    Things started to go a little sideways for me when I tried to gather up gun to take them back to my camp. In a real zombie situation I'm not leaving a precious thing like guns behind, I'm taking everything I can carry. Even if it's just for ammo/parts/scrap metal. The character has the ability to slow down time, but apparently he doesn't have a duffel bag. I tried to see if there was a way to strap a gas can to my bike too, but that would make too much sense. Not to worry, there is plenty of gas around the map. It's a missed opportunity to create tension in the game knowing you'll never truly be out of gas.

    I tried to take found motorcycles back to the camps too. That was a useless endeavor, I couldn't even get parts of the bikes for my own. You end up sourcing the same resources over and over again; nothing is really scarce, just spread out. If you scavenge an area, leave and come back, all the resources will have respawned. Like the gas, there's no concern about scarcity. Throw all the molotovs you want, you're surrounded by everything you need to make more. The frustration comes from the tedium of having to ride around to collect more.

    At times I wondered if the point of this game was zombies or riding the motorcycle. Both were time consuming and simplistic.

    The story was predictable, unoriginal, and uninspired. It was more suited for a C-level action film than a PS exclusive. I understand that Sony's goals now are to release games that could be movies. I imagine DG is going to be a good movie thanks to the setting, the zombies, and maybe even revamped characters, but the story will still be boring.

    Back to the time I spent playing this game - which ended up being 60 over almost 11 months (that's how repetitive this game is, I took long breaks and it still felt like a chore). After 10 hours I realized that everything I was doing/hearing/seeing was all there was ever going to be. That if I wanted to upgrade my weapons and bike, I was going to have to keep repeating the same tasks over and over. To be clear, the tasks were different as far as the game is concerned but it might as well been copy and pasted objectives. Someone who doesn't know how to take care of themselves left the camp and got kidnapped for the 10th time, I'll go save them. I stumbled upon an ambush camp, oh no, I guess I'll take all these guys out like I did at the other 39 ambush camps I had to deal with before. Ride all the way across the map to talk to a rock or pick flowers, sure. Sneak around. Changes were as basic as this NERO site needs gas AND a fuse now. Wild. And the guy at the marauder camp has a flame thrower, but don't worry because the AI is so dumb they won't actually do anything like flank you or even advance towards you. Sometimes they'll even leave cover to run halfway to a different spot, stop in the open, then turn around and run back to their original cover.

    I learned pretty quickly which cars and buildings were going to have which resources; eliminating the need for me to actually search for things. For all the time they spent making scaled down Oregon look pretty, they didn't put much effort into the variety of the objects within the world. Bless Deacon for prying open the hatch on the SUV to get to the trunk instead of just reaching in through the broken window. The boy's not the brightest bulb, folks.

    I think I've covered everything: boring, uninspired, repetitive. Even fighting the hordes gets to be monotonous: set traps, run, turn shoot, run, rinse, repeat, until they're all dead. And it's likely you'll accidentally find a glitch spot when you're fighting the hordes where they can't reach you; the map probably has more of these spots than they do hordes.

    The final fight would have been the biggest let down had the game not been such a disappointment to that point. By then I wasn't expecting anything unique or exciting. Just more of the same.

    But there was one last thing that upset me. The whole game Deacon can't swim, he drowns within seconds. Last big fight of the game, the bridge is blown up and Deacon has to swim a decent distance. If Deacon is so terrified of water why was the plan to blow up the bridge first? To have one corny moment of character development? It's too little too late.

    If you absolutely have to buy the game wait until it's on sale at least. It's four years old now and wasn't worth $50 when it was new.    … Expand

    I wanted to long to play this game I believed the lies that this is a bad game its actually a really good take on zombies and open world and if you sitcj with it it gets deeeep. I truly hope that they make a sequel soon. Remember critics aren't alway right actually they've been wrong more then right.

    a really nice game. there were such games! great horror/drama/zombie. a really well done heartbreaking story. the only flaw is that in the game world (which is really big), it would have been nice to see "something" more. otherwise, for me it is the best game of the genre. highly recommended

Days Gone is an absolute masterpiece, of course this review comes 4 years after the release and after 99.8% of issues were fixed BUT.... still, it's one of the best games out there, the story is immersive, deep and it offers you a background of what happen piece by piece, it does not spam you with 100 mini quests after you are given control and you do not have 50 things to do all at one, you can take your time, explore, the pace of the game is how you want it to be, play through all main missions all at once or take your time, explore, find new things, clear out enemies, you decide how you want to play it.
    The mechanics of the game are polished (again, reviewing after 4 years of fixing) but there was not a single time through my 60+ hours of gameplay when I felt cheated by the content, no microtransactions, no add-ons, no skins for your bike for 4.99$, you get what you paid! A full game where everything is unlockable in the game not by spending more money on top of what you already paid for! The first time I've played it, after 2 hours it felt like 10 minutes, I couldn't get enough, it's so satisfying driving around, kill hordes, ambush camps damn.... even being ambushed, knocked out and have to escape the kidnappers is fun, it's a breath of fresh air where you are not constantly bugged to buy this, pre-order that, 80% discount for an extension at only 29.99$... this game represents what a game should be, how a game should be and to be honest, a sequel is very much deserved. The story ends with a cliffhanger .... obviously the story is not finished because I want to know what will happen next after [SPOILER ALERT] O'Brian jumps on the NERO helicopter, too bad SONY will not approve a sequel to this gem, obviously they are mad because they couldn't milk more money as there are any things to buy in-game but man what a journey this game was, I recommend playing it and give it a chance because it deserves one!    … Expand

    PD if your motorcycle doesn't have gas your lost. Never in a game take care of one thing so simple like the gas in the majority of the games the gas is free and ilimited but in days gone is the most important thing. I love the simple details like that. 10 for days gone and praying for a days gone 2.

    Extremely underrated game. Yes, the story was too cheesy and trivial, it copied gameplay elements from other game, but in the end it's more than the sum of its parts. It's just THAT fun to play. Too bad they won't make a sequel.

    First I'd like to talk about the story. Without any spoilers, the story is one of the main pillars that carry this game. Throughout the game you'll meet plenty of interesting and compelling characters, which is what makes the game so great. The people you interact with actually feel like people. The dialogue between characters in the game does not feel forced or like they're being read off a script. It genuinely feels like a real conversation between two people. I noticed this a lot as well with Deacon's voice actor, the stutters of "I - Uh - Yeah" type conversation, makes the game feel like it's inhabited by real people.

    The gist of the games story is going from camp to camp as you're classed as a "Drifter" in this apocalypse. A Drifter is someone who doesn't belong to any established camp, and you're essentially doing runs and more or less, for lack of a better word, mercenary work for them. Naturally Deacon has his own personal storylines as well for you to follow so you will notice that there is a healthy balance between Deacon's own personal goals as well as the goals of others and encampments.

    I'd like to also take a moment to talk about the character of Deacon St. John. Deacon is definitely a complex character, the best way I can describe him is that of an Anti-Hero. He would slot right into any Grand Theft Auto game with ease. He is aggressive at times, confrontational, a very straight shooting no-nonsense kind of guy. Which is very refreshing as in these types of games you normally have a protagonist who is a glass half full kind of individual. Deacon feels like a real person who is going through some real stuff. There will be times where you'll agree and also disagree with what he says and does. He is not a perfect hero by any means but definitely one worth playing.

    The gameplay is solid.

    Performance wise, which I'll just touch on briefly, is outstanding. Rarely any frame drops, game looks great, lighting looks great, zombies look solid. Graphically it runs great.

    However, gameplay: Third person shooter where you'll also be spending a lot of time on your motorcycle, to definitely get used to that. Some difficulties disable fast travel so keep that in mind if you want a more authentic experience. The gunplay is definitely the best part. The recoil feels real but not too real like a mil-sim. Enough that you need to at least re-align your shots on some of the more basic weapons. You get all your consumables etc, grenades, first aid kits, all those tropes are still here. However where the game excels in my opinion, is facing off hordes. I'm talking anywhere between 75 and 500, yes, 500 zombies all chasing you at once and you are the only one who is dealing with them. I won't tell you how to do it, you can figure that out for yourself, but it's exhilarating and once you've done it, I guarantee you'll realise you've been holding your breath a bit. It's one of the most intense and adrenaline fuelled feelings you can find in any video game. Also, despite having all these zombies on the screen, you won't see a drop in performance.

    Your motorbike is something you'll spend a lot of time on. And although there are no appearance customisation skins for Deacon, there are a lot for your bike. So you can tailor it to how you would like it to appear. Upgrading it and riding it around off road is something I enjoyed very much.

    One of my only criticisms of the game is how the missions are given to you. I don't mind walking from A to B to pick up a job but some missions you need to wait for them to call you. There were times where I'd cleared out all the side stuff to do in an area and was basically just waiting for someone to radio me to give me a mission. Fast travel somewhere or fast travel back, which costs you money in fuel resupply. Just a niggling issue, not game breaking, but I'd prefer it if as soon as I finished a mission, the next just popped up on my map.

    Overall, Days Gone is a game you should absolutely play, it's so much fun and I wasn't bored once during my entire 43 hour playthrough. The game should take anywhere between 30-45 hours depending on how much side content you do. You'll definitely get your money's worth and you'll also be a part of a great universe with a compelling story and fantastic gameplay.

    J’ai joué au jeu sur sa version ps5 améliorer et y'a rien à dire c’est pas dégueulasse du tout, mais en réalité ce qui fait le charme du jeu c’est son atmosphère hors du commun. Il y a comme quelque chose de pesant du début à la fin sans arrêt.
    C’est peut-être bizarre ce que je vais dire mais pour moi le jeu est très similaire à death stranding sur beaucoup d’aspects, ou plutôt l’inverse, mais j’ai fait days gone après death stranding

    Ne passons pas par quatre chemins, ce qui m’a directement frappé c’est à quel point on ne joue pas Deacon, on devient Deacon. Je ne saurai pas réellement dire pourquoi ni comment, on se projette complètement dans le personnage, on le comprend, on ressent sa solitude et ont la vie avec lui, ou plutôt avec nous-mêmes.
    On se retrouve lâché au beau milieu de nulle part avec une seule idée en tête : retrouver notre bien-aimé dans ce monde envahi de zombies. Tout ne tourne qu’autour de ça et a raison, si la planète sur laquelle vous vivez se retrouve envahie de mort-vivant ne chercheriez-vous pas uniquement à retrouver la personne que vous aimez le plus au monde ?
    On ressent vraiment ça chez Deacon ça va au-delà d’un simple personnage de jeu vidéo, à vrai dire je ne sais même pas si c’est volontaire de la part des développeurs tellement c’est bien fait, ses attitudes, sa façon d’être et de se comporter même au-delà des interactions avec le scénario. Enfin bref voilà pour le protagoniste, réussi à la perfection 10/10

    Les autres personnages sont tout aussi réussis au final, il y a vraiment une cohésion parfaite des personnages dans leur monde. Tout est cohérent, c’est certainement le jeu de zombie le plus vraisemblable, on pourrait croire que ça se passerait comme ça dans un monde infesté de zombies, ce qui est assez fort en vrai puisque souvent les jeux vraisemblables se font rattraper par l’ennui et le manque de fantaisie

    Voilà pour les personnages, le scénario est tout aussi bien narré. L’évolution des personnages et de leurs affinités est plus que cohérent, il est instinctif, l’amitié, la trahison, l'amour sont des notions qui se mélangent et perde de leur sens dans une société pareil. Je ne vais pas entrer plus dans les détails parce que je pense que c’est absolument quelque chose à vivre, alors jouez au jeu !
    Le gameplay est très bon, suffisant, les actions et le maniement des armes et des véhicules sont agréables et plaisantes. Et bien sûr, c'est un plaisir de dégommer du zombie, mais pas trop simple, on se passerait bien de s’attirer les foudres d’une horde. Je ne peux que recommander ce jeu, si je ne pouvais qu’en conseiller qu’un, ce serait celui-ci

    Que jogo sensacional! Pude joga-lo no PS5 e fui ter essa experiência somente agora em 2023, e tive uma enorme surpresa em relação a qualidade do game em todos os aspectos. Possui belos visuais, gráficos e ambientação, além de entregar um mundo aberto com uma variedade enorme de conteúdo. Mas o ponto mais alto é a gameplay. Extremamente satisfatória e viciante.

    Played on PS5. Very addictive gameplay loop where you just scavenge cautiously for upgrades, trying to deal quickly with the dangers. Fairly easy. Good looking visuals. But a horribly shallow story and way too much cut scenes or parts where you walk around during some "emotional" conversation.

    Mediocre game. The story is poorly written as the focus of the devs was probably more on politics than on making a fun game. The protagonist might slaugher hordes of zombies and be a hero tho he won't get promoted from the Colonel (Who is said to have well read his Bible yet we see him misquote it or not recognize the most obvious things about it, as he though the Arc was inMediocre game.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really did enjoy this game; my biggest complaint is that it carried on a little too long. I’ll try to give as little of a spoiler as possible; but pretty much the entire game you’re looking for your wife. Trying to find out if she’s alive or not. At one point you get that answer; and I thought the game should have ended there. Instead there’s another 5 hours or so that just felt unnecessary. Besides that I really did love it.     I think we've come to an oversaturation of open world, zombie/post-apocalyptic games. Had this game come out some years ago, maybe it'd have received better scores. This game has pretty visuals, but other than that it brings nothing new to the table, hence it can get tedious.
    I wish they remade or continued with the Syphon Filter series, which I really enjoyed during the ps1 era.

    An underrated game that deserves a sequel. The PS4 release held it back.

    Just discovered this game on PlayStation plus but wow just wow. God performance, creepy world and the atmosphere. Really loved this game

    Although not perfect, I found days gone to be a very entertaining game. At first I was weary because of the other reviews, but I received it free as part of the PlayStation plus collection. This game has quite a large open world map but not too large to where it is overwhelming. The gameplay and combat system I found to be very effective and smooth and the length of the game, althoughAlthough not perfect, I found days gone to be a very entertaining game.     One of the best open world games I’ve ever played and FINALLY a game with a male main character. Gaming has become all about female main characters and there’s no variety anymore. Days Gone is so good. Amazing graphics, brutal combat, great bike traversal, very good storytelling, and most importantly, best take on zombies I’ve ever seen. Never seen anything like it.

    This is one of the most underrated PlayStation exclusives I’ve ever played with an intriguing story, a great but difficult challenge mode, great and simple Platinum, overall a underrated game that deserves a lot more attention and a sequel had not for Sony cancelled a planned sequel.

Bugs are fixed that I've seen, the game is gorgeous and the weather system is something that alot of ps exclusives can learn from this game. Gameplay is abit clunky, crafting system is a typical crafting nothing to hard to understand. Soundtrack is great and fits with the tone of the games setting. Story is a drama of a bikers survival and mourning his wife. The game has a system where you can upgrade your bike by doing bounties, side missions even sell plants, meat and freaker parts. Each settlement will have this benefits of weapons or upgrading your bike. I recommend upgrading your bike start of the game. Weapons are not important early. My review is an 8 due to great settings, crafting and story however the game can be repetitive with gas getting low, need to find gas stations or canisters to refuel your bike. Unfair snipers knocking you off your bike, and clunky combat makes the experience little difficult however it's manageable and can still be fun while not being ambush by hoardes of freakers or human and wolves etc. Fast travel is present however you have to clear freaker nests to get have a path to fast travel.     Good gameplay and story, very nice atmosher and fun moto bike riding. But so many stupid bugs has corrupted the game. Why did Sony allow it to be released the with so many bugs!!!

    Best zombie game out there along with the first last of us. Its a slow burn but i promise its good after 15 or so hours .haha. but is actually an amazing zombie game. Guns are fun and fighting hordes is the best.

    WHAT A GAME! I find it difficult to see why the critics didn't love it, everything from the story, to the voice acting, to the graphics is simply stunning. This game is a masterpiece up there with God Of War, Red Dead 2 and Horizon in terms of RPG's. I have ADHD and can lose interest in games very quickly but this had me gripped from start to finish and is the first game in a long timeWHAT A GAME! I find it difficult to see why the critics didn't love it, everything from the story, to the voice acting, to the graphics is simply stunning. The game has so much depth to it, it's a slow burner so hang in there for the first few hours and it will be worth it I promise. The only disappointing thing is the 'normal' mode became a little too easy in late game and I didn't find it challenging so I would perhaps recommend playing on the hard setting.

    In my opinion this game is just amazing and I enjoyed every single bit of it which accidentally lead to a platinum trophy . I loved the story, characters, world, game play and soundtrack. I regret that I never looked at this game before my dad bought it and wouldn't stop raving about it, it is honestly fantastic.

    Bend Studio made a great game with a rich, believable and captivating story. They’ve also resisted the lure of trends: there’s no multiplayer, no lootboxes, no “game as a service” plans – just a very solid (and finite) singleplayer experience.     At the beginning of the game you’ll feel like you've already played this game... then it will let you go for a while only to return with reinforcements (and lots of bugs). However, Days Gone has a couple of pleasant moments, that can't be denied. [Issue#295]

    I expect and hope for a sequel. Just know that going into this game that there is a lot of tedious nonsense to pad out a really good game to make it feel more worth every dollar, much to its detriment. I want to give this game a better score because the best moments are so good, but the large portion of this game is so bloody tiring that I just can’t.
