    The graphics are just gorgeous, the gameplay is perfectly balanced and the major bugs were solved in the first patches. A fantastic game to play, the only con would be the lack of online multiplayer.

    Cuphead is a great game for $20, just beware it is very hard and not for the casual player. It took me roughly 15-20hrs with probably a couple hundred deaths. Most of the bosses can be beaten in an hour, but there are a few much harder ones that will require a few hours to finally get down. The game looks great, music is great, and gameplay is fast and responsive, all the bosses are uniqueCuphead is a great game for $20, just beware it is very hard and not for the casual player.     I can't think of any flaws with this game. The visual style is amazing as well as the challenge presented by all of the bosses. It can be frustrating at times, but the feeling you and your friend get after finally defeating that boss you've been stuck on is exhilarating. And the difficulty is escalated by an Expert mode after completing the game. At the price of $20, buying this game is aI can't think of any flaws with this game.     This game is very fun but only for gamers that love a challenge. I don't recommend people that don't like to have a hard game. I see new things that I never seen before on this game.

    No game could compare to the uniquely glorious art design of cuphead. Bosses feel punishing yet fair, once you learn their pattern it all clicks and you feel like Neo from the matrix. I have no critiques.

    Great and unique game, unique bosses, don't listen comments that gives 0 crying that game is too hard, it is a little challenging sometimes but not impossible, I would give it a 10 but only games like Witcher 3, RDR, Elden Ring can have 9-10 :)

    Great visual design, but the game just isn't fun to play. To compensate for its short length, the designers bumped the difficulty through the roof. This makes the gameplay repetitive and tedious. It took me 740 deaths to make it through and I was glad when it was over. Shame, because it really is gorgeous to look at.

Cuenta con una jugabilidad exigente pero muy divertida y adictiva que hace que por mucho que mueras siempre quieras volver a intentarlo.     Un gran juego de plataformas donde el error te hace mas fuerte. Juego totalmente equilibrado y un reto para todo el mundo. De una empresa indie salió esta joya que mucha gente le tiene aprecio y han terminado haciendo una serie. Me encantaría un modo multijugador, pero el juego local ya me sirve.

    I really have no complaints with this game. It's beautiful, it's a fun challenge, there's no bs in it. You just simply have to get good. I love this game. I'm proud of the platinum trophy I got from it. I hope we see a full sequel one day.

    This game looks great and is a fun idea but it is unnecessarily and insanely difficult. Basically the unnecessarily high level of difficulty overrides all other positive aspects of this game that could have made it something special, and makes the game complete garbage.

    Really really poor game. Swapping fun for difficulty. The play forming run and gun sections are god awful. And then if you have the gall to even try and play the easier mode you’re completely punished by not being able to finish the game. Played about an hour and I’ve put it down, would trade it in so quickly if it wasn’t digital.

    A fun unique game that brings out the style of 30's cartoons. The game looks cute but it does not shy away from making you regret buying it because of its grueling difficulty.

    I've been hoping three years for this game to be released on PS4.
    A love letter to Max Fleischer and 30's cartoons, with the finest art style I've ever seen in a videogame.
    Combat is also fun, bosses are challenging and unique.
    A true Gem.

    I play since 1983 and the reason I´m still playing is thanks to games like this. Ultra 3d graphics stopped to impress me long ago and I´m less keen on overly complicated games (red dead redemption 2 comes to mind among others). THIS is the game I was waiting for my whole life, we as kids in the 80s dreamed of a game that truly looked like a cartoon (and were trolled by Dragon´s Lair andI play since 1983 and the reason I´m still playing is thanks to games like this. Each level has you push through different enemy types in difference scenes to get to a final boss(s). Some levels are different as they are more like mini games where you need to simply get to the finish line as fast as you can or complete a certain task without getting hit. The animations and visuals are so pin point accurate to classic Disney cartoons that I couldn't believe I was playing it. Everything on screen is moving in that jolly fashion where it looks like everything is dancing. Bosses in particular are fantastic in the way they change their expressions the closer you are to defeating them. Many of them changing battle modes the more damage you do to force you to change your tactics and memorize their patterns. The games difficulty is more reminiscent of a bullet hell shooter where it is hard but fair. It takes practice and a lot of retries to complete this game. At first it can be a bit overwhelming but later you'll feel like you gained a skill and that's part of the reward. Reaction time and memorization is key to winning. It was hard for me to put this game down even after losing so many times. It's very easy to pick up and play. You can buy different power ups and bullets that fire 3 shots at once or one big shot for example. You also have different super moves that you can use that causes major damages to multiple enemies on screen. They have a very useful counter attack that refills your super move but it is hard to pull off. Being able to get hit only a few times is nerve racking but all the more rewarding when you finish a level with no damage and get that sweet A+ grade. The only thing stopping it from being a masterpiece is that I felt the final boss was easier than a few earlier bosses and the map aspect of it was unecessary as all you really do in it is push your character to walk to the next level. They have branching paths but you can always go back to another path so it felt unneeded. Aside from that an almost perfect game and it even has co-op which is an added bonus. Must buy.… Expand

    It's bloody difficult and I mean difficult however it's fair apart from some questionable RNG at times. I'd say it's a buy if you don't mind a challenge, stay clear if you can't stand frustration yet if you have the money to burn or there is a sale, i'd say try it regardless cause it's fun and rewarding and extremely well built with a great art style and feel.

    Historia.
    Este juego no será recordado por su historia, ya que es sumamente simple, pero que cumple con su objetivo de dar el motivo para    Comencemos diciendo que este título es maravilloso en la mayoría de sus apartados, que te sacará de quisio en más de una vez si no estas acostumbrado a este tipo de juegos, pero si eres asiduo de ellos, es un imperdible que no debes dejar pasar.
    Historia.
    Este juego no será recordado por su historia, ya que es sumamente simple, pero que cumple con su objetivo de dar el motivo para adentrarnos en esta aventura, es una historia bastante simple y con dos finales.
    Gráficos.
    El apartado gráfico de este título es maravilloso y es increíble que todo está hecho de forma artesanal, así es, los gráficos y los fondos, todos fueron hechos a mano con ese estilo de caricaturas de los años 20's, además hay un filtro que asemeja el añejado estilo, para haberle dado más realismo hubiera estado mejor un filtro en blanco y negro.
    Todos los personajes están bien hechos y ninguno parece fuera de su época, sin duda mi Boss favorito fue Cala María. El estilo visual de este título enamora desde el inicio.
    Sonido.
    Otro apartado que sobresale en este juego es su banda sonora junto con los efectos de sonidos propios de la época. La banda sonora es magnífica, agradables y plegadizas melodías que te apuesto vas a querer llevar en tu lista de reproducción junto con el resto de música favorita.
    Gameplay.
    Lo más importante de cada juego y que sin duda Cuphead lo hace bien. En lo personal me gustan mucho títulos como Contra y Metal Slug siendo estos los que nos llevan en diferentes mundos para que al final nos enfrentemos a los Boss de cada nivel, sin embargo en Cuphead todo esto es diferente ya que hay tres islas donde navegaremos para enfrentarnos directamente a los Boss y a parte están los niveles que debemos completar para adquirír monedas que podemos gastar en la tienda y así recibir mejoras de combate y salud.
    Esto siento que hace más lento el juego y que bajo mi opinión hubiese sido mejor incluir lo niveles y los Boss juntos para que le diera más dinamismo como los ya mencionados títulos.
    Cuphead te puede resultar difícil, sin embargo al igual que muchos juegos de su estilo sólo es cuestión de memorizar patrones y mejorar tus habilidades para que todo sea mucho más fácil, de hecho al mejorar el juego se torna mucho más fácil y su máxima dificultad se reduce si aprendes todo y maximizas a tu personajes.
    Platinar este juego no es complicado pero si te tomará un tiempo según tu habilidad.

    At first glance cuphead didn't look like a game i would play. At videos and trailers everything looked so full and overwhelming. I wasn't a fan of the artstyle either.

    Great boss fights with awesome artwork and score. Finished all levels, but won't likely play again on expert mode. After beating that dragon, you know you can beat the game.

    Cuphead is without a doubt one of the most well-crafted games I have ever played. The tight and responsive gameplay mechanics, coupled with the gorgeous art direction (with every animation hand drawn from scratch!) and the awesome soundtrack, makes it a blast to play. The bosses are all very unique and each one offered a different challenge.

    Having said that, the difficulty level is    Cuphead is without a doubt one of the most well-crafted games I have ever played. The tight and responsive gameplay mechanics, coupled with the gorgeous art direction (with every animation hand drawn from scratch!) and the awesome soundtrack, makes it a blast to play. The bosses are all very unique and each one offered a different challenge.

    Having said that, the difficulty level is definitely not for everyone, as some bosses sometimes want you to question your life choices. If you get easily upset and are not looking for a game where you have to try a certain stage over and over again in order to beat it, Cuphead might not be for you. However, I really loved the challenge - and the feeling of accomplishment after beating a hard boss made it worth it everytime. I just got the Platinum Trophy yesterday, and it was definitely no easy feat. But the game was never unfairly hard, meaning that I almost always felt that I was responsible if I screwed up.

    So, overall it was an all around engaging and very fun experience that I would recommend to anyone who loves a good challenge. I seriously couldn't think of anything that would bring this below a 10.    … Expand

    WOW! This game is so much fun but it takes some serious skill and patience. You will see yourself get so much better overtime. I completed the game on normal and now on my expert play through but still having so much fun. Highly suggest this game if you grew up on tough Super Nintendo games and love a good challenge. Really happy this came to the PS4

    This is the funiest game to play with your partner at home that i ever played on ps4. First of all a delightful soundtrack and a lots of different simple games that challenge your skills with the joystick. We had so much fun with this track.

    This game is a classic for me.You be angry when you die but you don't want close the game.

    Un videogioco che rasenta la perfezione: gameplay semplice ma efficace e che nonostante sia sempre lo stesso riesce a non risultare mai ripetitivo ma anzi davvero divertente, boss tutti meravigliosamente ispirati e con pattern di attacco sempre vari, classici livelli run & gun che spezzano bene il ritmo delle boss fight e musiche in linea con lo stile anni 30 e praticamente da oscar.

    I'm so glad this game came to PS4, I've already played it 5 times on PC and i played it again on PS4. That's how good it is. The art style is really awesome and the animations look beautiful and very satisfying. Soundtrack's one of the best of all time! Every single boss was enjoyable. Even though some were hard and somewhat frustrating i just wanted to keep playing! Story's there butI'm so glad this game came to PS4, I've already played it 5 times on PC and i played it again on PS4. That's how good it is.     I loved playing this game. The style of the game is like nothing I have ever seen before and the OST compliments it perfectly. I adored the game's bosses, design and gameplay.

    It's Contra with a big jazz band and Dark Souls with rubber hose animation. That's it, that's all I gotta say.

    The game is not bad but its not that great, It surely is very hard, I got this for my young nephews and they cant play it which was disappointing.

    A fantastic display of joyous creativity with a perfect difficulty balance. Just beat it on expert and it is like playing the game for the first time again. I can go on about the visuals and soundtrack, but just look at a trailer and you know exactly why this games art direction is hold in such high regard.

    This game is awesome. The controls are great, the graphics are splendid and the game play is fun as hell. Prepare to die a ton, though. No punches are pulled here. Oh and the music is addictive.

    Great game in a beautiful cartoon style from the 30s. The game has excellent and varied bosses, a good soundtrack, interesting characters, levels. One of the best platform games ever.

    The game is great and everyone has given it all the praise it can get. BUT BE WARNED! This game is brutally difficult and if you don't have the patience to develop skills, you're gonna have a bad time.

    Cuphead is not just difficult, but amazing. The gameplay style in 2D, the presentation, the bosses, and of course, a game that really remind me of my childhood.

    I loved this game. Amazing art style and brutal but fair challenge. One of my favorite side scrollers next to the Rayman Legends series. In a league of its own.

    With such a well-respected and well-known title such as Cuphead, there really isn't a lot that can be said for the PS4 port that hasn't already been stated since its original release in 2017. A fiendishly difficult platformer with a great soundtrack and beautiful level design and aesthetics awaits any gamer that loves a challenge, and is happy to put the hours in. Sit in a darkened room, avoid any and all of those pesky real-world interruptions, and take on a telepathic giant carrot. Ace.

    Cuphead for PS4 doesn't add anything to what we already have on other platforms, but it is still a very unique experience with addicting gameplay, solid boss fights, super fun coop play and great music.
