Nov 3, 2021Released to mixed reviews, largely complaining about difficulty and true rogue like experience. This is a major attraction to the game for me, along with the reasonable price.

Jun 10, 2019Crimson Keep is a decent enough title that you’ll get some entertainment out of it, however, the story is barebones, the gameplay at its core is bland and basic, and progressing throughout feels like it’s done at a crawl. On the positive side though, the design and overall look of the game are definitely noteworthy, being two aspects that help make this title more appealing from a visual perspective. Long story short, it’s up to you in this case, I personally would save my money for something else.

Mar 20, 2019A buggy Action RPG, that tries to be more than it needs to be, rife with repetitiveness and lack of incentivised play.

Mar 17, 2019I wanted to give Crimson Keep the benefit of the doubt and, whilst the technical troubles that plagued the Switch version appear to have been rectified, the more fundamental problems remain in sharp focus. The adventure might be short in nature but I just don't find perseverance particularly satisfying. There's no sense of depth or a foothold to be gained from a game that's a little too bare to flourish.
