This is mainly just to say YES you can invert the camera Y-axis. And the X-axis, too, for that matter. Maybe it wasn't there in the options when the game was first released, but it's definitely there now. Must've been added in an update.

Do I have to review the game? OK... It's a weird one. Minimalist and linear, with no alternative modes to distract yourself with, it's one you'll play

Do I have to review the game? OK... It's a weird one. Minimalist and linear, with no alternative modes to distract yourself with, it's one you'll play in short doses between meatier fare. You basically bang your head against a level repeatedly until you finally beat it (more often by luck rather than judgement, but that might just be me!) and you open another level, repeat.

Platforming in a first person view isn't for everyone. You can't see your feet, and have no physical presence - in fact, in this game you're literally just a disembodied camera - so you must trust to your situational awareness of where you are to get through.

A horde of trucks proceed in convoy through a linear assault-course with a goal at the end. All you have to do to "beat" a level is make it to the end without touching the ground. Thing is, most of the trucks don't make it to the end - so you can't just stand on one and ride it to the end. Trucks crash into each other, are destroyed by various traps, fall off the course, etc - so you're forced to keep trying to move forward up the convoy, trying to identify "safe" trucks to jump to, and trying not to get caught up in a mass-wreck near the back of the pack.

I'm not sure I really like the game, because it all seems very random, woolly, and far too reliant on luck. There doesn't seem to be much skill required, unless you count as a "skill" the dogged persistence to keep attempting a level over and over until one time it pans out and you're not sure what (if anything) you did differently to earn that victory.

That said, it's kind of fun seeing what the next ridiculous level looks like, though, and there's a certain abstract daftness to the concept that can make the mayhem (briefly) amusing. Pick it up cheap and consider it to be a short-doses kind of game - something to have a quick blast on inbetween other, deeper games - and you might get some fun out of it.

Such a simplistic concept for a game that has been executed in exceptional fashion. It is hard to put this game down! It is a throwback to the frustrating nature of retrying challenging levels over and over again until they have been completed.

Either way, it is the most fun you can have for £12!

Awesome game with one HUGE issue! Buyer beware! There is no option to invert the y-axis. In this day and age the lack of this option is unacceptable. I hope the developer decides to patch this because as it stands the game is barely playable.

Please note: from what I was able to play the game is a solid 8. Fun graphics, solid controls (minus above rant), and cool power ups that add

This is a interesting concept but fails on PS4 with bad controls, no options to change controller buttons and the dependency on dumb luck. The right stick to change the camera is useless because you need your right thumb for the X button to jump so it is impossible to see your landings. The physics are so wonky everything is mostly luck. This might be better on PC but it sucks on PS4.

ClusterTruck is a extremely fast paced plat-former where the levels consist of jumping from roof to roof on trucks that have a mind of your own. They move around quite random and can make it difficult to not fall to your death. Maps usually have massive drop offs, ramps, Slow motion, death traps and many other ways to die. There is also a nice amount of themes to the maps, Some Retro some medieval but it helps keep the game fresh.ClusterTruck shines when you are in the middle of those "Oh crap" Moments, When your go off of a drop off or double jumping hundreds of meters ahead you get a great feeling of speed and action. ClusterTruck is at it's prime when you start to master the game and learn how to double jump just right or how to handle your speed and momentum. There are lots of upgrades to choose from like Jet pack or double jump that can completely change how you play. The game has a fair amount of levels to work your way through but they also have a level editor so the possibilities are endless. If your a fan of fast paced extremely intense action games I really Recommend ClusterTruck, It's in a league of it's own. Expand

This game is alright. It can be a bit of a...cluster...truck, but it's an interesting one. I don't know if I'd pay the full price for it, but if it's on a little bit of a discount, it's a little fun to play.

    Challenging and surprisingly fun!
The game is always providing non-expected moments that keeps you impressed by the difficulty or with the creativity of level design.

Clustertruck lives up to its name by offering a suitably chaotic puzzle platformer that will test your patience as well as your dexterity. Whilst it can frustrate, it doesn’t dwell on your failure long enough to truly let it fester. Success feels rewarding although the random elements force you to react rather than memorise. It’s worth checking out if you’re after a real challenge that should keep you occupied for weeks, maybe even months.
