Sep 2, 2021Great game. Cool art, entertaining puzzles and cute story, also has a wonderful physical edition by iam8bit.

Sep 4, 2023Interesting game with light mechanics that still offers a lot of possibilities. The story is simple but cute, main character is very likeable even while not speaking and the art style is perfect for this kind of game. I would recommend this game for players looking for a peaceful exploration game, a short game or even for someone looking for an interesting game for children.

Playstation Official Magazine UKNov 15, 2020While its intriguing concept is slightly let down by simple puzzles and empty maps, Carto still offers a weekend’s worth of cosy fun for players of all ages. [Issue#182, p.154]

Nov 5, 2020If light and breezy fun is what you’re after, Carto will be right up your alley. Its world-bending puzzles will delight those looking for a challenge, while the sweet story of reunion makes for easy consumption. It’s not a fully smooth ride, with a few difficulty spikes and trial-and-error moments that pop up once in a while, but the majority of the game feels, looks, and sounds great. Despite the inconsistencies, Carto maps a clear chart to a puzzling good time.

Nov 4, 2020As one of the most unique games that I've played in a long time, Carto blew me away with its clever gameplay and lovely world.
