    There was alot of big talk from the devs leading up to the release suggesting a reinvention of the COD game design, sadly this was not the case just more of the same in a new skin - that isnt a flaw as the formula is still successful here, just disappointing that more couldn't be done to push the franchise forwards given the IMO extremely entertaining (but poorly received) infinite warfare.     Call of Duty WWII has an amazing campaign, but it isn't enough to save it from being one of the weaker entries in the series. The online play is disengaging and tarnished by easily forgettable maps and the zombies mode is incredibly lacklustre in comparison to the main Black Ops series entries.

    This game would have gotten a better score by me if it was not for the glitches in the campaign some of them just are soo bad considering I played this game 5 years later after its release, it should have been fixed aside from it, the campaign is fantastic and the multiplayer great as well, if you like ww2 stuff this is a gem, great game.

    Le he puesto un 7 porque la campaña me pareció espectacular, el nivel de gráficos está a nivel del the last of us 2 y las interpretaciones son muy buenas, la campaña te lleva a batallas muy importantes de la SGM como el desembarco de Normandía, la jugabilidad innova como curar mediante botiquines que te lo dan los compañeros o por el mapa, actos heroicos ya sean arrastrar a un soldadoLe he puesto un 7 porque la campaña me pareció espectacular, el nivel de gráficos está a nivel del the last of us 2 y las interpretaciones son muy buenas, la campaña te lleva a batallas muy importantes de la SGM como el desembarco de Normandía, la jugabilidad innova como curar mediante botiquines que te lo dan los compañeros o por el mapa, actos heroicos ya sean arrastrar a un soldado herido para llevarlo a cubierto o salvarlo de un aprieto.     Conclusión, a mi me ha encantado y gracias a PSPlus que lo regalaron lo he podido jugar, el único defecto que tiene el juego es que en mi PS4 PRO los ventiladores se ponen al máximo que incluso a veces me salía el mensaje de sobrecalentamiento, por lo demás todo está muy bien.    … Expand

    la historia está bien, pero es una de cal y otra de arena constante
    gráficamente es una pasada, con unas cgi brutales, y algunas misiones que están muy chulas
    el sonido normalito, con un doblaje mejorable y una mezcla bastante mala, sorprende porque ahí solían ser los mejores y se nota descuidado el argumento obviamente no sorprende y se ha quedado corta, se hecha de menos que avancen    la historia está bien, pero es una de cal y otra de arena constante

    detalles como que te falte una bala en el rifle y meta las 5 de golpe quedan mal, el apuntado del francotirador que ralentiza tampoco me ha entusiasmado, la IA parece que ha ido hacia atrás, vuelven los enemigos infinitos en algunas zonas, etc
    o que se quede el juego pillado porque tienes que ponerte en X zona para que pase Y cosa, pero como ya te moviste previendo la acción, pues estás matando enemigos atontados mientras el juego espera que vuelvas al sitio

    del multijugador y los zombies mejor no decir nada, ya ni atrae probar esos modos    … Expand

    Tenia esperanzas de que este juego subiera esta saga, pero creo que nos quedo a deber mucho, eso si la campaña me encanto demasiado, pero....el MP es mas de lo mismo cada año, no innova en nada, a veces es divertido, pero como dije antes, es mas de lo mismo cada año, lleno de DLC y obvio el modo zombies es lo mejor de cada año,    Que puedo decir.....no es mal juego, pero tampoco brilla.

    Hace años que no jugaba un Call of Duty. Me gustó la campaña pero nunca tanto para ponerle una nota verde. En el online no sé para qué pone en franco tiradores si los mapas son super chicos (pequeños).

I haven't played a Call of Duty game since MW3, until WWII. I jumped into the multiplayer and loved every second of it. I jumped into the multiplayer and loved every second of it. There weren't many maps at the start but that meant that players could completely master their technique and strategy in order to bend the combat to their will. My favorite game mode was easily Hardcore Dom and after reaching master prestige, I still can't get enough of that game mode. The zombies mode felt fresh, too. The easter eggs, mechanics, and story were exciting to spend time with and although it's exactly what you'd expect the zombies mode to be like, I still thoroughly enjoyed it as somebody who never felt interested in playing it at all. And, the campaign. Meh. It was "fine." The story, gameplay, level design, characters, all acceptable with no real emotion or excitement at all. All in all, a lot of fun but the lack of true creative genius makes this a hard recommendation. This is more of a guilty pleasure than anything else.… Expand

    Dropped on PS+ for free and gave it ago. Nice visuals lots of cinematic action and cut scenes. You know the usual scripted CoD formula story telling and gameplay. Not into PvP MP shooters so the SP campaign is the only thing I do in CoD games. Period World War shooters have been done to death. Modern Military shooters have been done to death.     I would give this game a meh and by meh I mean they could've done better, anyone remember world at war where the game was all like **** your feelings I don't care if your offended this is what happened WW2, but in this version it felt more like a Hollywood movie although the graphics and the gameplay was great the story was just lacking so much of what really happened in the war. Story: Pretentious, historically inaccurate and all written with knowledge of what happens after in mind. Actual soldiers weren't this foolishly brave, nor did they have any illusion about 'becoming heroes.' The game sets up moments that are clearly straight up stolen from movies like Saving Private Ryan, but then follows it up by dozens of allied soldiers just running into the fire of the enemy... What the **** ??

    However, after the liberation of Paris the darker tone of the story starts to set in as the war becomes more vicious in German territory. I was enjoying this part of the story much more.

    Gameplay:
    The shooting mechanics are actually very good. The practical WWII weapons provide a much more intimate fighting style, as battles are fought in narrow fields or streets. The reaction of hitting and eliminating an enemy feels very satisfying, and the results are quite gory. There are obligatory quick-time events, though these do show intense fights to the death that get you on the edge of your seat. There is a particular mission where you you operate a Sherman tank that fights a Panzer and a Tiger Tank. Though this is very simplified (and a Sherman tank is no match for a Tiger II Tank) it is quite entertaining! I find the single player campaign of WWII to be very enjoyable due to the satisfying gameplay and darker missions later on. Had this been the only content of WWII for 20 bucks i could have given it a 7/10. Graphics:
    It's a pretty game, no doubt about that. The cinematics are especially stunning to look at, and i like the inclusion of gory effects by explosives.

    Multiplayer:
    Chickens running around with no head gameplay, that lacks all the satisfaction that is present in the single player campaign. There are some fun modes that change up the gameplay, but Team Deathmatch and the basic modes are poorly put together pools of mud.

    Zombies:
    Quite fun, but i feel like it is overstuffed and overcomplicated. A zombies mode like in World at War with a bunch of new small maps would have been enough.

    Though the game reeks of inspiration out of movies instead of books, i find the single player campaign to be great. Unfortunately i can't say the same about the rest of the game, as it seems to lack polish and effort. I give the game a 6/10.    … Expand

    The campaign in this game is not the best it's shallow and they play it safe but I enjoyed it and had some good time in it especially d_day and the multiplayer is really cool and I love it especially that challenges it's very rewarding but there is so many loading that kill the experience and that new war mode is not very much but I like it finally the zombie mode is boring and repetitive .

    This game was a nice representation of what happened in history. Full action from the first minute. Gameplay sometimes did not feel completely good and often the scripted moments are very clear. After completing the campaign, you no longer pick up the game quickly. Nevertheless nice to have played the game!

    O multiplayer tradicional deste COD é o mais fraco, entretanto, o Modo Zombies é excelente e a campanha não deixa a peteca cair. No frigir dos ovos é um bom game, e graficamente muito lindo. As mecanicas de solicitação de pacotes de vida, de munição, de bombas e sinalizadores é muito boa também. Por fim, é um game legal com um ou outro momento de destaque na campanha, não é um Call of DutyO multiplayer tradicional deste COD é o mais fraco, entretanto, o Modo Zombies é excelente e a campanha não deixa a peteca cair.     The singleplayer is, like any cod game, a simple action movie. The multiplayer is standard with a lot of maps that go into 3 lanes, zombies are amazing, yes the map is bigger and there are objectives but its super fun to play if you have friends over. Overall its a standard cod game, if you get it you will have a lot of fin with it.

    I was really excited about the story having heard it will return to WW II , but aside from the amazing graphics and good gameplay and a nice story, you could tell they really didn't put much effort into it as it feels a little rushed. Don't really care about zombies to be honest. And the multiplayes is like any othe CoD game, pretty boring for me.

    Very solid story. Although really not emotional one... Lot of things were very safe for example deaths camps. There were few really great stealth mission ant few really memorable moments.     Plutôt un bon jeu , il manque un peu de contenu , mais il fait très bien l'affaire pour une partie entre amis ,les loot box pour débloquer certaines armes sont un peu abusé il faut bien l'admettre ( déjà que le nombres d'armes n'est pas conséquent) donc je peut tout a fait comprendre la note final, bien que je soit satisfait du jeu

Чуть больше полтора баллов в моей оценке занимает сюжет. А что на счёт сетевого режима, то он тоже получился неСюжет до абсурда патриотично-американский, не несет в себе никаких посылов, которым научила всех Вторая Мировая Война, нет участника войны, который сделал большинство действий для победы в этой самой войне и который потерял большее количество солдат - СССР ещё он ОЧЕНЬ короткий. Чуть больше полтора баллов в моей оценке занимает сюжет. А что на счёт сетевого режима, то он тоже получился не очень хорошим, но отыгрывается своим разнообразием режимов, карт и оружия, но и кастомизация конечно же. Все остальные баллы я отдаю сетевому режиму. И я забыл главное... это графика, сама по себе она ну достаточно хорошая, но разрешение текстур особенно разочаровывает, одним словом - мыло.     Looking back at this game it was alright. The campaign was decent but it's very short. The multiplayer is garbage with the maps being a big reason why but what makes this game decent is the amazing zombies

    The Campaign was good enough, but does not ave any replay value to it. The Multiplayer was decent, however, the servers often goes down and kicks you out in the middle of the game. Zombies Mode is not as good as previous games (Black Ops 1, World at War). And of course, Supply Box are the most pathetic thing ever

    Personally I think this game gets to much hate, the multiplayer is very fun and fast paced unlike the newer games, and the campaign is amazing.

    campaign for this game is dull and full of cliche, pre-assembled action scenes that do not surprise anyone the characters do not have much charisma. Multiplayer and a big payout to win almost every weapon you unlock only if you get the premium version and the matches are quite long. The multiplayer maps are huge filled with useless empty spaces that could reduce a lot. The difficulty curvecampaign for this game is dull and full of cliche, pre-assembled action scenes that do not surprise anyone the characters do not have much charisma. Multiplayer and a big payout to win almost every weapon you unlock only if you get the premium version and the matches are quite long. The multiplayer maps are huge filled with useless empty spaces that could reduce a lot. The difficulty curve is ridiculously bad, meaning you have to play a lot even if you want to have some fun in this game. One of the few positive points of this game is the destruction of scenarios. Until a new generation of developers arise, this will continue. Everything after MW2 was a downhill, but this game is different. Its good enough - for me. The grind of the multiplayer loot box mechanic is a gambling trap that you should be wise not to fall into. Collecting just for the sake having a skin or texture forces you to play the game in a way that is streamlined and that is deceitful and misguided. Its understandable that there should be unlockable skins, etc, but the randomization is explicit gambling, which I don't think should be in games, unless you like that sort of thing - more power to you. If you can take anything away from this review - please note the developer and publishers to avoid: EA, Activision, Ubisoft. They are game manufacturers with a quota. Never forget that. Its big business. DONT TRUST THE "CRIT" REVIEWS. The only thing critical about them is their bias.… Expand

    Pero este ww2 es una mamada esperaba algun evento emotivo y llorar para decir este juego es demasidado pero no,me ponen una historia que esta de la vrga.

    Mittelmäßiger Ego Shooter, dessen Online Modus ganz in Ordnung ist und gut läuft. Die Handlung der Kampagne ist aber sehr oberflächlich und bleibt weit unterdurchschnittlich. Insgesamt enttäuschend (5/10).

    I enjoyed playing this game. WWII is so realistic (atmosphere and graphics), it's like you are going to the war for die. The plot it's not the best perhaps it is plain. I should put more missions but each mission last less because it's veeerryy looong. The online flag. Nevertheless, zombies mode is pretty good. I put 7 out of 10. Personally, it's not bad but it's still well

    I really wanted CoD’s return to World War II to be something more than a solid game – but it’s not. I couldn’t shake the feeling that I’ve already seen all this, that the developers (or perhaps the publisher) chose to create something as safe as possible. There’s just one campaign mission that surprised me with its scale, the rest is just a disappointing “best of Call of Duty”. The multiplayer is as good as usual, but it was infused with unnecessary systems resembling mobile titles, e.g spending in-game currency on pointless tasks of the “kill 100 enemies” variety. Missions that make you watch other players open their loot boxes are the pinnacle of absurdity. [13/2017, p.64]

    A solid return to its roots, Call of Duty WWII reminds us what made us all fall in love Call of Duty in the first place. It ticks all the boxes which is both a blessing and a curse. Good fun and worth your time but offers nothing exceptional.
