Jun 17, 2020If the setting isn't cliched enough for you, the nazi zombies multiplayer mode serves an even bigger cliche. Just a corporate product for the mindless masses.

Jun 17, 2018Better than the last few CODs, but still pretty average. The campaign this time around was too over-the-top and repetitive for me. But the multiplayer did add one mode that I enjoyed; War. Plus the zombies was a bit better this time around. But it just didn't do much for me overall.

Nov 3, 2017I must say the story is really great, it has some great missions and it has some really great moments. But tbh. the multiplayer is still not good as the old ones. What is really disappointing. And i don't really know, why CoD has a MMO mod?

Nov 16, 2017Spend 50+ hours
Story 2/10 So stuipid history, where Great America try to win war,a lot of hero doing dont many actions don't make sense, just 2 or 3 interesting missions, all other is a ****
Mp 5/10 After 10 or 15 hours, play it is very boring and there is not any interest -
Nov 4, 2017Single player campaign is alright but nothing special. My biggest beef is the tired old graphics engine that looks basically the same as BO1. It's 2017, these graphics are unaccetable. I don't have a problem with twitch shooters or lack of realism but good lord, visually this game is not good.

Nov 17, 2017Why the press is giving 85 to this crap? You irresponsible liars! You're lying to the poor people to buy this garbage. Once again we have the cruel politics who want to take all your money. All this practices are going to end the console industry. Did you see the boxes falling from the sky?

Oct 19, 2021This game could have been amazing but the set pieces and the constant taking control away leave you with a kind of nothing and boring feeling, har unskippable cutscenes which just takes the replay value ride out of it,

Nov 22, 2017Campaign player here. I felt like all the cool stories happened with World at War, and then they had to try and come up with other things that just weren't as interesting; too short. Also.. you play as a girl trying to deliver a briefcase for a level. The graphics were really nice though.

Dec 8, 2017Would only recommend to people who haven't played cod for a while, i can honestly say i have seen Fifa change more than cod the last few years which shows how stale it is wait for the modern warfare 2 remaster or buy an older cheaper better cod.

CD-ActionJan 10, 2018I really wanted CoD’s return to World War II to be something more than a solid game – but it’s not. I couldn’t shake the feeling that I’ve already seen all this, that the developers (or perhaps the publisher) chose to create something as safe as possible. There’s just one campaign mission that surprised me with its scale, the rest is just a disappointing “best of Call of Duty”. The multiplayer is as good as usual, but it was infused with unnecessary systems resembling mobile titles, e.g spending in-game currency on pointless tasks of the “kill 100 enemies” variety. Missions that make you watch other players open their loot boxes are the pinnacle of absurdity. [13/2017, p.64]

Dec 22, 2017A solid return to its roots, Call of Duty WWII reminds us what made us all fall in love Call of Duty in the first place. It ticks all the boxes which is both a blessing and a curse. Good fun and worth your time but offers nothing exceptional.

Playstation Official Magazine UKDec 15, 2017Revitalised and exemplary FPS gaming. Multiplayer trims back to the essentials, campaign shows sensitivity and Zombies...well it's a new excuse to play CoD Zombies. [Christmas 2017, p.77]
