    I'm done with COD games. They stopped caring a long time ago for the campaign, this 4 hour journey is a joke for a full priced game. And what's worse is that the AI feels just as DUMB as any other COD game. In all these years, with all that money they could have improved that AI, but they don't, so it's like a numb feeling when you go through the game shooting at braindead enemies.

    Another cashgrab, unfinished, and terrible call of duty, luckily i decided not to buy it, too much campers, the spawn is always near to the gunfight, the gun as usual is inconsistent at doing damage, campaign is just basic, and the zombies, i ain't interested.

    Not as good as it could be. Graphically the game is below what I expected. In terms of gameplay, it's easy to lose to PC players because of almost no aiming assistance for those using controls. There is nothing innovative, they were very petty here. This game caused my PS4 to crash 6 times to the point where I had to turn off the console by the power cord.     This is a average CoD game. The campaign is short and lack memorable characters and missions.
    I don't understand how they managed to make a bad multiplayer since it has the same engine of MW 2019. TTK is too short, maps FULL of camping points. Broken guns and attachments. Overall, a forgettable multiplayer experience.

    One of the best Call of Duty's in very long time. Just ignore negative reviews, these are just BF fanboys who can't deal with the fact, that all BF has is buggy multiplayer and COD is actually delivering solid single player experience.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It turns out that it was actually better than I expected at launch. The Beta was kinda null in certain points, but Sledgehammer Games actually listened to what we wanted in the game, and they did it. Various adjustments and additions, balances, visibility, and everything else in betweens. The superior IW 8.0 engine did show the beauty here, but there are some things that I need to pointed out.

    (+3) Multiplayer at launch was better than I expected. Seems like they have tuned down their controversial and "rage-inducing" skill-based matchmaking (at least, from my perspective). Players are now rewarded more often and penalized less. A solid step-up from Black Ops: Cold War, where in that game, everything would not be able to go along together in the right direction.

    (+1.5) SUPPORT BOTH NVIDIA DLSS AND AMD FIDELITYFX SUPER RESOLUTION.

    (+1.5) Visiblity is an improvement here compared to Modern Warfare (2019). More colors are visible and you can still see characters in certain dark areas.

    (+1) Maps were well-designed, with balances between "predictable lanes" and "encourage camping." They allowed for a more wider-range of engagement, dynamics and balance of gunfights. Covers and destructible environments make this even more intriguing.

    (+0.5) Tons of settings to play around.

    (0) I wish the campaign was longer and go through the beginning of World War 2.

    (0) Despite using IW 8.0 engine. There are NO ray-tracing options in the game. A slight let down, but it really does not matter since a game like this demanded quick reaction and fast frames, and the game still look beautiful without ray-tracing.

    (0) Don't expect historical accuracy from this game.

    (-0.5) No factions. This can cause confusions during an intense gunfight.

    (-0.5) Sniper rifles take forever to aim. But I think they were intended to preserve their true roles to support from long range and not going in aggressively.

    (-1) Grinds take too much time. Even with Double XPs enabled, you can level up your weapon on average - 3 to 4 levels per match.

    (-1) Cheaters are in the game already! They got everything unlocked before they even play their first match! (Still not widespread, though.)
    [New anti-cheat is coming. I hoped that it will deal a major blow to them.]

    (-1) Some bugs were seen, hopefully they will fix them in the future.

    (-3) Zombies were a let down. It feels unfinished for a reason.    … Expand

Я не буду рассматривать сюжетную кампанию. Но раскрытие персонажей очень хорошее. Ролики очень кинематографичные. Вообще игра визуально и эстетически очень уютная. Графоуни подъехал весьма неплохой. Играю на PS4 Pro на 27 дюймовом 4К мониторе с включённым HDR и выглядит все очень достойно. Не буду прикапываться к коллиматорам и пнв. В целом ничего нового игра в серию не принесла. Это не call of duty 2, не world at war, это modern warfare с новыми текстурами. Играется бодро, но чувствую надоест быстрее, чем cold war. Возможно дело исправит интеграция с warzone.… Expand

I loved MW19, and I am I to anything WW2 related (it is my historical interest), so really what I was hoping for was MW19 with a WW2 sk8n. Which is exactly what this is, it seems to me.     Big thank you to Sledgehammer Games for making so fun and enjoyable campaign. I wasn't sold by trailers, but i watched some youtube videos of other people playing it and having fun, that was enough for me to buy it.

    Campaign is short (as always), but extremely fun, multiplayer has some issues (hackers), but that's just the way it is sometimes, hopefully it gets fixed, but other than that i have nothing bad to say.

    Fun and chaotic multiplayer, short, but still solid campaign, actually good graphics, zombies are bad, but they can update it. Overall i'm glad i bought it, great game and possibly best shooter of 2021, unless Halo does something.

    I mean, sure, zombie mode is meh, but if you are actually OG player, you would know that COD was never meant to be zombie game. Zombies are just fun bonus mode. If you want to play actual zombie games, play Days Gone or Resident Evil 2 Remake. Anyway, other than that, game is solid.

    One of the best graphics of 2021, idk what battlefield is doing, because they should learn from Vanguard. This is complete product. 16 very good maps, over 30 guns, single player (battlefield doesn't even have that, what a joke), fun multiplayer, very, very, very few bugs.

    Multiplayer plays exactly like MW I with logic issues. There is not much difference in engagement distance so WHY does it take two whole seconds to aim with the snipers when this is a twitch-shooter and rate of fire+full auto is key to winning? They have once again not balanced weapon types.

    Polina Petrova (inspired by Lyudmila Pavlichenko) is a pretty decent representation of the 2% overall Soviet military, Partisans, and volunteers that fought against the fascist threat. (including my Grandmother)

    In regards to multiplayer characters, the lore is so batcrap nuts you'd swear it's fanfiction.

    Daniel, the Japanese-American fighting against the Japanese is hilarious, because we damn well know where real Japanese-Americans were - In internment camps.

    Halima is... Halima, an Black Italian that is an ex-fascist fighting for Imperial Allied factions WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?!!!!?

    Solange is a Black Dutch Jew that happens to be academically gifted, and basically Mary-Sue... exceptional at everything.

    Shigenori is a Uragirimono but still wears Axis uniform, I guess he likes getting shot in the back.

    Constanze is a lesbian antifascist, which although PARTIALLY true, there were underground lesbian clubs in Nazi Germany & Lesbian Nazi officers which were overlooked because of their rank/status. The total amount of them were negligible, and were never considered for combat because it directly contradicts Hitler's ideology.

    Call of duty vanguard isn’t the best call of duty but I actually really love the direction they seem to be going with campaigns, this time about 6 hours which I think is a great length.. Vnguard sets out to tell a story of war heroes during world war 2, similar to the battlefield 1 campaign, youll go through each characters stories and it isn’t all just run and gun, there are some amazingly immersive moments here, great stealth sections through a forest, a section where youre a sniper, there are horror like moments keeping you on your toes as you go through buildings, did I love the characters themselves? Not so much, none were memorable to me, but I do appreciate the attempt to flesh them out, to create a series that players can look forward to.. the campaign again isn’t the best, but I did appreciate the effort here.. I appreciate the variety how each of thse 6 hours felt different…
    And onto the multiplayer, first off, lets just skip over zombies, I don’t like zombis I never have and Ive heard this year is the worst yet, si I hopped right into multiplayer.. The multiplayer this time is pretty bare bones, but hey.. I actually like that.. I like the simplicity of pick a load out, use that gun to level it up, go through the typial team deathc match, capture the flag, search and destroy modes.. however the gunplay just isn’t fun for me this year, the maps are pretty bland as well.. I did have an enjoyable few hours with multiplayer but after a weekend of play times, there wasn’t enough to hook me in like past titles have..
    Call of Duty anguard is a great call of duty game..
    Will it quickly b forgotten the moment the next shiny multplayer shows up? Yes, this will not be a staple in your multiplayer collection, but for the time I spent with it, its pretty solid, especially the single player campaign,

    One of the better COD games in a long time. Basically no bugs, runs well, good graphics, solid story, fun multiplayer, what else do you want? Obviously Battleflop2042 fanboys are extremely salty because Vanguard is popular, but that's just how it is now. They just have to deal with the fact that COD is overall better game. People are absolutely enjoying COD as of right now on youtube.

    Solid single player/amazing multiplayer. CoD Vanguard is possible GOTY 2021, not even joking. So much more content than BF2024, better graphics than BF2024.

    Pretty sure it wins some game of the year awards for cutscenes, maybe even music. Very well done campaign. Fun multiplayer, zombies are trash tho.

    Really solid CoD, possibly my third favorite after Modern Warfare (2007) and Modern Warfare 2 (2009). Good 4-6 hour story (depends if you take your time or just rush), fun multiplayer that has some spawning issues that need to be fixed.

    Very disappointing COD, just a load of bad decisions. I'm here for multiplayer & it's not fun at all. Endless fire & kill streaks that you can't see the enemy, you have to rely on the name tag, including the fact that the enemy may look exactly like your teammates.
    I appreciate the detailed maps, they're visually sharp.

    At this point Wolfenstein is a more accurate recreation of WW1 than COD, and that was a WW2 game! So many inaccuracies regarding troops and actual equipment used. Also don't even think about how they discredited the diverse heroes involved in this war in favor of a "woke" version of fictitious storytelling. Outside of the terrible narrative, and completely unrealistic historical view, it'sAt this point Wolfenstein is a more accurate recreation of WW1 than COD, and that was a WW2 game!     Worse garbage I've seen. The game itself is buggy and lacking. But the writing seems it's a pink haired non-binary Communist wet dream rather than anything to do with reality or history. It's a spit in the eye of all who served in WWII and the woke Communist atrocity down playing writer should never be allowed in any creative industry again where they can spread dangerous and sickening propaganda.

The overall look of this game is pretty good, but there haven't been any patches since 11/18 and there are some really bad exploits that aren't being addressed.

    TTD rate is ridiculous: You die in about 2-3 shots. If you get hit you're basically dead.
    Spawns are horrendous even on medium/large size maps. Expect to spawn die every game.
    No Factions: This makes spotting enemies more difficult. if there isn't a red dot at first you are screwed
    Riot shield are in this MW2 game. Not historically accurate and very annoying
    Dead Drop is a broken perk that lets you keep your kill streak
    You get stuck trying to move through windows/around map
    Maps seem to be designed to promote camping
    Shotguns have ridiculous range
    Nothing really new or innovative

    Remove SBMM. Every Call of Duty with SBMM will get a 0 from me. Also, stop breaking up the lobbies? Who tf thought that up? I know it’s linked to the terrible matchmaking so I’ll just reiterate my first point: Remove SBMM. Get the message.

This game has many bugs such as I can't view my god dam weapons that I spent hours grinding for and on top of that everyone plays like there's something on the line.     This one is very cool to play, sometimes a bit annoying, but still very anjoyable! Graphics are well done! Snipers are sometimes very hard to play with, but throwing knives are very playable and pleasant! Not a bad one one for once tbh!

    Vanguard isn’t bad at all but there’s certainly room for improvement. The gunplay is solid, the graphics are beautiful - but the campaign is weak and the multiplayer unbalanced.

    In the long history of the CoD series, it’s fitting that Vanguard stayed true to form with the World War II setting, because when all is said and done, I think it’ll be considered among the greats. If it’s already this fun to play now, I can’t wait to see how it evolves in the coming months with any updates Sledgehammer has planned.
