Nov 17, 2020Graphics are early PS3 looking. Mechanics are somehow worse than previous games in the black ops series. If truly SBMM exists, it’s terrible to play with friends on different skill levels. Disbanding lobbies is one of the worst features. Quite a lacklustre game.

Nov 17, 2020This game is ass.
The only good thing about it is zombies, they went for something different and i think it was pretty good.
The multiplayer sucks, only has 8 maps which are all trash.
The campaign feels rushed and not as good as previous instalments with a really bad and confusing story.
this game shouldn't be £50 it should have been £20 because the only good thing about it is the zombies. -
Nov 17, 2020Una basura de multijugador. Los mapas malos y el SBMM, arruinan toda la experiencia.
-
Nov 17, 2020Absolute zero. This part should never been released. Engine is sucks. 3d arcade from the past. No fun at all
-
Nov 17, 2020I am playing my Xbox One X and sometimes switch off automatically while i am playing Cold War. Very very low FPS. This game is a Beta game.
-
Nov 17, 2020One of the worst games ever. This game is like other CODs. I cant understand why people are buying same COD every time

Nov 17, 2020S B M M, terrible pc optimization feels like 60fps with over 120-140 frames.
-
Nov 17, 2020Every game feels the same with sbmm. Same meta weapons, same playstyles just makes for a bland/mediocre experience with no real progression.
-
Nov 17, 2020Sbmm at its highest. Don’t want to be using the cheap play style and meta weapons for another year just to go even. Bland, buggy game.
-
Nov 17, 2020That 'Compiling shaders' issue is a real freaking mess. Please fix it ASAP.
-
Nov 18, 2020Unfinished game, poor visibility, terrible hit detection, no weapon balancing.
-
Nov 18, 2020It is embarrassing that this is a 2020 triple A game. Also the first CoD on the next gen consoles and it looks worse than the last game. It is full of bugs and glitches, it shows images of weapons out of BO4 when you unlock weapons, basically it is not complete yet it is being sold at full price.
Then ofcoursd the SBMM ruins any fun you have with the gameplay. -
Nov 18, 2020Can't even play the game on PS5, it keeps hard crashing it when I try to launch any mode. I reinstalled 4 times now and all my other games work just fine.
Unacceptable. -

Nov 18, 2020Literal garbage.
Full of bugs and crashes, with barely any weapons and only 6 maps. (Older CoDs launched with 13).
Weapon balance is non-existent and SBMM ruins and matches you play with friends. -
Nov 18, 2020Multiplayer is a downgrade from MW
The Gunplay is fun but the maps are just bad there is not even 1 good map in this game.
zombies is fun tho but not worth 60.
just another disappointing cod form Treyarc
And who ever but shotgun in the secondary slot shoud be fierd -
Nov 18, 2020Trash game there is nothing good about it at all No balance in this game it all doesn’t worth a dollar

Nov 19, 2020Skillbased matchmaking ruins the entire game. It has a good foundation, but it continues the path that MW took: lower the skill gap as much as possible, so that the worst player ever will still have a 1.0 K/D and pump the money into Activision's bank account. SBMM and the low skill gap are the reason that this game is absolutely unbearable.
-
Nov 19, 2020The campaign is good, Zombies feels fresh again, and multiplayer is horrible. I don't mind the amount of time it takes to level up weapons since it gives me something to work for in-game. Once again, multiplayer is ruined by Activi$ion.

Nov 21, 2020Worst cod ever made. Out of touch Metacritic has lost what little respect I had left “best cod ever made”???! At least pretend like you have an ounce of dignity. When the audience score is 3/10 yet you still call it the best game ever and give it 8/10 your no longer “reviewing” a game your advertising.
Never trusting another review from this site again. -
Nov 21, 2020The most boring and uninnovative CoD I have played in a long time. Worse than Modern Warfare in every possible way.
Just don't waste your money on it. -
Nov 22, 2020Constant crashing on. Constant crashing on. Constant crashing on. Constant crashing on.
-
Nov 22, 2020This is one of the worst COD to date. And they did not even offer MW battle pass owners any double xp weekend. Left out in the cold.
-
Nov 22, 2020Crappy piece of software rashes every 10min.
Tried all the fixes, still crashing.
F-ing fix your game before you sell it!

Jun 28, 2021Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War ends up mirroring what the Call of Duty franchise offered last year, with some new additions that are also welcome, especially for long-term fans. While being set during a very intense period, the campaign ends up erring for its disappointing longevity, even though the value of repetition is intrinsic to it. Zombies are back in style, while multiplayer gains an excellent new mode, but here it errs again for the arsenal's lack of variety.

Dec 16, 2020While Cold War is a part of a series I would have said that I loved, I can’t fully embrace it now knowing that this work is trucking in harmful stereotypes via patriotic-tinged gameplay. A decent CoD multiplayer experience will likely emerge from the currently-underwhelming Cold War, but I’m going to seriously consider whether that gameplay is worth enduring (and supporting) the rest.

Playstation Official Magazine UKDec 14, 2020There’s a surprising number of changes, and most work. With an enjoyable campaign and a generous amount of online content, Cold War deserves a warm reception. [Issue#183, p.68]
