    Horrible Multiplayer. Campaign is decent. Zombiesis fun, but only one map. Not worth it!

    Literal garbage.

    Full of bugs and crashes, with barely any weapons and only 6 maps. (Older CoDs launched with 13).

    Weapon balance is non-existent and SBMM ruins and matches you play with friends.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Would be a 0 if not for Zombies, which this year is more replayable and dynamic than ever, a real breakthrough in my opinion. MP is completely unfinished and what is there is so low effort it’s laughable. I could stomach only 29 weapons, but the unlock rate is so ungodly slow people will only ever spend such an atrocious amount of time on a good gun (MP5). Campaign is a complete copy of Black Ops 1, story structure and all, with the only replay ability being found in about 2-3 missions. Overall, this game needed another year,, and I will come back in a couple months in the vain hope the game will be in a playable state.… Expand

    The game is not fun the zombies are good for 2 games and then the same old. Multiplayer is the worse multiplayer ever made as all of the maps are badly balanced and spawns ridiculous. single player is just a rubbish call of duty experience. Do not buy the game

    So...i really enjoyed COD MW, brilliant graphics, game mechanics and sound.
    Cold War compares to it like a low budget TV show to Star Wars franchise. I gave it solid 20h of multiplayer time only to come to an conclusion that it was wasted 20h. Where as MW is fun, this feels like grind. I know it meant to be an arcade shooter, but why does the graphics have to look like from 2002?     Can't even play the game on PS5, it keeps hard crashing it when I try to launch any mode. I reinstalled 4 times now and all my other games work just fine.
    Unacceptable.

    It is embarrassing that this is a 2020 triple A game. Also the first CoD on the next gen consoles and it looks worse than the last game. It is full of bugs and glitches, it shows images of weapons out of BO4 when you unlock weapons, basically it is not complete yet it is being sold at full price.

    Then ofcoursd the SBMM ruins any fun you have with the gameplay.

    i think is a god call of duty is a new air to the black ops franchise the history of the cold war is very interesting the zombies mode i think isthe best one of the franchise the multyplayer need upgrades of the map in conclusionis very funny cod with friend

    The game has 8 maps at lunch....8 maps from a multimillion dollar company.

    Skill based match making means if you have friends who are worse than you then they will want to play with you because they will be destroyed.

    The campaign is 3 hours long.

    Do yourself a favor, keep playing Modern Warfare

    First COD I have played since MW2 on the Xbox 360, terrible graphics, crap maps. Spawn, see someone shoot - die, spawn get seen without seeing someone - die. Rinse and repeat.

    Wont ever buy a COD game again, don't know what I was thinking. Wouldn't play if this was free to play, let alone paying for a triple A title 0/10

    This is actually retarted that Cronus Max is going unpunished on consoles I get put in a lobby of all aim botters just because I’m good at the game the aim assist is even broken on launch making only people with Cronus being able to aim consistently this is a **** disaster of a game. Most of my friends have already stopped playing

Тем не менее, сюжет хватает вас за горло с первых минут и не отпускает до конца. Прикольные герои, запоминающиеся локации, приятная стрельба и реалистичный звук. Особо понравилось, что можно пострелять по коммунякам-ватникам. Около 120 фпс на 1080ти. Что ещеОчень стильно нарисованный шпионский экшен.     SBMM robs the multi-player of any fun if the poor hitreg and broken mp5 don't get you first. I love Black ops but this is not a finished game movement is clunky at best and aiming... well ya just point a shoot maybe you'll get hit markers but most likely not..     Sbmm at its highest. Don’t want to be using the cheap play style and meta weapons for another year just to go even. Bland, buggy game.

    Every game feels the same with sbmm. Same meta weapons, same playstyles just makes for a bland/mediocre experience with no real progression.

    Unfortunately for a PS4 player like myself, this game is in many ways unplayable. The third level in the campaign had a game-breaking bug that would disconnect all of my controllers if connected via bluetooth (this required a hard restart to fix). The campaign had a mostly interesting story but didn't really take off until the second to last mission.     The multiplayer suffers from connectivity, balancing issues, and a lack of interesting maps. Iconic maps such as Nuke Town are missing and will likely not come until a later season.

    Overall this year's COD feels like a regression from 2019's Cod Modern Warfare and may be an example of game makers unable to maintain QC during wfh and the global pandemic.    … Expand

    DO NOT BUY !! 2019’s cod MW is far superior in every way. Get it instead. Cold war feels like a bad arcade shooter, the maps suck weapon damage sucks graphics are terrible. After taking 10 year break from cod (because they all started to be the same) I was super excited when 2019’s cod came out and it was a true return to form albeit with a few changes coldwar fails in every way !

    Only 4 new maps from the beta and a handful of guns. Only 1 actual zombies map. If you don't like Call of Duty campaign or zombies $60 is not a good price for this game. Horrible pc optimization. Very lackluster.

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War ends up mirroring what the Call of Duty franchise offered last year, with some new additions that are also welcome, especially for long-term fans. While being set during a very intense period, the campaign ends up erring for its disappointing longevity, even though the value of repetition is intrinsic to it. Zombies are back in style, while multiplayer gains an excellent new mode, but here it errs again for the arsenal's lack of variety.

    While Cold War is a part of a series I would have said that I loved, I can’t fully embrace it now knowing that this work is trucking in harmful stereotypes via patriotic-tinged gameplay. A decent CoD multiplayer experience will likely emerge from the currently-underwhelming Cold War, but I’m going to seriously consider whether that gameplay is worth enduring (and supporting) the rest.
