    Activision should have never rushed this game out. This is embarrassing. The campaign and zombies is good, so I give a point for that but multiplayer is a joke. Worst CoD multiplayer I’ve played. Skill based matchmaking needs to go to. Just make a ranked and casual mode.

    Music is a little **** but overall i do not understand grades lower than 7.

    Zombie mode is amazing, multiplayer too, good that you can turn off enemy/team health bar. Its annoying, story is cool, well, i like it

    Most of the reviews are misleading. Most reviews say the graphics are bad and look like an xbox 360 game. That is obviously false if you look at gameplay. Most reviews mention OP weapons even though thats in every cod. This game is good but cod fans are blinded by nostalgia and think every little thing must be perfect or it's a 0

    An other dump game. Activision is **** there are a lot of bugs,graphics and story are very bad like usually! Money goes to CEO kottick not for the developpement of the game, it's a shame. Don't give your money for this **** !

    There are some problems. Now these things will probably be fixed soon, but here we go. Zombies feels like it was made by infinity ward. It feels like they took the simplicity of black ops 1 and mashed it with infinite warfare. Gameplay feels untreyarch like. There's hitmarkers, you don't get points for injuring zombies but only for killing them, and create a class. Also, the Gallo, (a 1250There are some problems. The knife with one pap is vaiable until ROUND 20. And the Ray Gun, while it is rare, is absolutely filthy. Multiplayer has issues as well. You can see your enemy's hp, which doesn't feel right. The mp5 is broken just like mw. Time to kill is like bo4, with the stim regenerating your health in an instant, making kills feel sluggish. The thing that was done the dirtiest was quickscoping though. The Pellington is slow, and gets hitmarkers like there's no tomorrow. Why? Why are modern cods so afraid of quickscoping? While these flaws seem numerous and huge, they should be patched soon, or else this game is gonna crash and burn. Another thing: this game was originally developed by sledgehammer, but then activison gave them the boot and had treyarch finish the development. So, any core gameplay issues could be a result of sledgehammer's doing. So while this game has some issues, Treyarch should patch them soon and the others are probably due to sledgehammer developing most of this game. We shouldn't judge it too harshly, but hopefully things turn upwards.… Expand

    This game is an absolute blast, with a gripping campaign, awesome multiplayer with a wide weapon selection, and overall my favourite zombies they ever made.     Great game, love the campaign, multiplayer is fun besides the SBMM and one map, zombies is surprisingly great.

    Really great hated MW and just wanted it to get back to the good stuff! Well it has snappy satisfying gunplay, great story decent multiplayer for the first time in years. Great job!

    Great campain but short, amazing zmobies mode which you can play for longs hours. Multiplayer is lacking a content, but we got a nuketown last week and we are going to get at least three new maps on december 10!

    I never played a worst CoD. The zombie mod is lagging, even on ps4 pro. The whole game is unplayable

    Complete trash just like modern warfare last year. Its all about 3 lanes and funneling through the choke points, cant climb on objects that are waste high, no sniping spots. Its literally APEX but on COD.garbage. Returned after 2 hours and got $27 credit. Do not waste your money. COD is dead.

    The gunfights are a always coin flip, decided by one of Activision's patents. The game an absolute nightmare to play. It's made to make you feel cheated and depressed. Seriously, stay away from this game, and any    Horrendous game, published by a fraudulent company.     Me hace gràcia los que le poneis un 3 o un 0 porque no lo aveis jugado dais pena criticar sin argumento es verdad que el juego es muy mejorable y que el sistema de emparejamiento es una basura en el multijugador pero tener en cuenta que trabajar con covid es muy complicado

The campaign is pretty boring and there is no weapon customization at all sadly, but you have a hq....idk why even put a hq if I can't hear up before a mission. Also on the ps4 there is a terrible bug that bricks your controller. It won't work or even respond to anything unless you turn off the system. Zombies are fun tho. Other than thatWell...it's not horrible but it's not good either.     My whole review is only about MP, I never play anything else in CoD...

    As 6v6 MP only player I considered MW 2019 absolutely the worst CoD ever created. It had terrible maps with too many angles, terrible doors, infinite claymores with restock, no dead silence perk, TTK too fast, camping spots(even remastered maps were ruined with them), strong SBMM in casual playlist, washed out    My whole review is only about MP, I never play anything else in CoD...

It was like game itself decided if I kill or die.

    The last thing I ever wanted from CoD series is realism - the only reason I buy CoD is that it's casual fast paced arcady shooter, so I consider Cold War being huge improvement(to me every single CoD is masterpiece compared to last year MW). It's fast paced, maps are better(but not perfect), perks are more balanced, TTK is little bit slower(but still quite fast), there is just 1 land mine with long CD, game actually has some colors, camping is not the only way to play and it can be countered. It's CoD again and not Insurgency clone made for CoD haters and realism seekers. First 10 hours I had flawless experience - it reminded me times of BO1 and BO2 which are my most favorite CoD games. I wanted to go for 8+ rating but then thick skill based matchmaking kicked in and it ruined my experience with game little bit(and little bit more). Hard campers and sweats started to often fill my lobbies again(but at least whole game is not designed only for them). There should be casual playlist with weak or none SBMM and ranked with this kind of SBMM with ranks and extra rewards. Also on some maps there are flashing textures(sand on Satelite, mountains on Cartel). This was not happening on beta. There are also small bugs here and there like unlockable calling cards are not saved when you pick them. Another problem is lack of 6v6 maps on release so for now its like 6.5/10 for me untill everything is fixed. After that and when they add more maps it would be like 7.5/10. If they add also ranked and nerf SBMM in casual playlist I would go even for 8.5/10 easily. No performance problems at all on my side, runs exactly as MW (i7-7700k+1080Ti), 80-100 fps 1440p maxed out(tested MP only)

    EDIT: Changed rating from 7 to 2 just because of SBMM... It's not objective but I just can't do this anymore. I like game itself in general (much more than MW) but I absolutely refuse to sweat each and every single game to my maximum potential just to keep 1,2+ k/d in CASUAL playlist. I am not ranked player in any game - I HATE e-sport and ranked tryhard-meta trend, only reason I was playing COD was because it's casual MP game and it's not anymore. Game offers absolutely no choice in this matter, no ranked vs quick match playlist, there is only ranked without rank. Burn in hell for ruining this casual MP series and otherwise good game with system like this. I hope at least Battlefield will never give up on completly random server list system... I always liked COD more but this is just unbearable. Game itself decide who and when will do well or terrible in each match, not player skill. You had 2 good matches? Bad for you, next 2 you will be annihilated... You suck in 2 matches? Well, here is your candy - you will be rewarded with some easy game next. This is not even multiplayer, it's just singleplayer with adaptive difficulty with players carefully picked instead of bots.    … Expand

    - Not very many game modes and the new ones are not very enjoyable.

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War ends up mirroring what the Call of Duty franchise offered last year, with some new additions that are also welcome, especially for long-term fans. While being set during a very intense period, the campaign ends up erring for its disappointing longevity, even though the value of repetition is intrinsic to it. Zombies are back in style, while multiplayer gains an excellent new mode, but here it errs again for the arsenal's lack of variety.

    While Cold War is a part of a series I would have said that I loved, I can’t fully embrace it now knowing that this work is trucking in harmful stereotypes via patriotic-tinged gameplay. A decent CoD multiplayer experience will likely emerge from the currently-underwhelming Cold War, but I’m going to seriously consider whether that gameplay is worth enduring (and supporting) the rest.
