*Skill based match-making just sucks period. Too many bunny hoppers and crouch shooters
*The guns have terrible balancing. A few Metas and forget the rest set up once again
*No cool faction spawn themes like the golden Call of Duty games
*The overall vibe of Multiplayer just feels empty
*Zombies tried to be innovative I'll give it that
*Problem with Zombies though, where is the content!?
*Dead Ops is so boring, just scrap it please

This game could have been so much more! It's not as trash as Black Ops 4 and it's not as scummy as Black Ops 3 but Treyarch are sliding downhill fast. It's time to ditch the yearly releases and focus on what is going well for Call of Duty: WARZONE! Traditional Multiplayer is dead, Zombies is hanging by a thread. Incorporate free DLC quarterly with Warzone. MP Maps, Campaign Add Ons, Zombies Maps, just add them to Warzone as ongoing content. The yearly release is slowly killing the franchise.

Campaign is good, much better than modern warfare 2019 with tons of propaganda.

    2. TTK (time to kill) is still to big and must be smaller. If you face 2 enemies in front of you, your chances to kill both of them is much smaller, than in MW2019.
    3. The bullet registration is bad.
    4. Maps - There are only 7 multiplayer maps and half of them are very bad. Lots of camping positions and bad spawn points.
    5. Weapons- They feel like they're made from cheap plastic.
Multiplayer need big reworks. It's not finished product.

    Single player - 3/10
    Multiplayer- 5/10
    Zombies - 7/10

Single player - The plot and characters are almost as ridiculous as Addler’s sunglasses.
Multiplayer - More of the same. This hasn’t changed for about thirteen years (except warzone of course).
Zombies - Hard to get wrong. Blends the best bits of COD zombie gameplay from over the years into a really fun game mode.

Tiene sólo 8 mapas y la mayoría son malísimos, con esquinas y espacios ridículos para campear. Un SBMM asqueroso y todavía mala conexión. No te sentís en la Guerra Fría . Me arrepiento de haberlo comprado.

The Campaign in this game is fun got some minor rpg elements in terms of choice for dialogue and what not and can be a good time. Story is more or less what you expect from a call of duty game these days, america good russia bad etc.
The campaign isnt very long though its roughly 4-5 hours. I also hate the fact that you have to download the campaign into 3 seperate parts the **** is this a telltale game seriously come on now.

Things can all be grand and dandy as long as it doesnt freeze or crash your system which has happened to me multiple times. It happens specifically on a mission called desperate measures for me. Can really ruin the experience.

    Zombies:

From a first glance of playthroughs you may be thinking what in the actual **** is this **** But trust me zombies is actually ok its not that bad can be a good time also altough repetitive. Doesn't feel like a Treyarch zombies game at all which is a shame, this one feels more WW2 esque. But hey ill take this over B04 Zombies tbh. Also dont get why zombies and multiplayer have shared levels. Why the **** are we using multiplayer operators aswell instead of some original characters.

    Multiplayer:

MP5... huge ****ing maps. My advice would be just play hardpoint as i find whenever i play other modes its like playing ****ing COD Ghosts again. Lads sitting in the corner of a room waiting for about 2 minutes for one kill everybody running ghost and as i mentioned above the mp5. Not a fun experience at all unless you fancy smashing your head through your window in frustration.

Only fun game mode is hardpoint. Seriously if you hate the other modes in this cod just try hardpoint once makes things a little better as you can actually enjoy the game instead of either dying of boredom or frustration from some **** sitting in a room all game doing the worm squirm.

    Overall:
Campaign is aight besides the constant crashing and length can be enjoyable as long as it works.
Zombies is fun but will get boring after a while. Would suggest playing with friends if you can as long as they are as unfortunate as us for buying this ****
Multiplayer just try to steer clear of if you can. its a ****ing mess right now and as i mentioned hardpoint is only enjoyable game mode.

Can kinda cut them a tiny bit of slack given the good ol pandemic right now but this game feels like an unfinished mess. Either steer clear of it or wait till it drops in price, dont be a ****ing idiot like me.

The online is the same except for cross play.. Now you get to play with PC players who jump like rabbits every time you shoot at them.. Every character is Michael Jordan with a 6 feet high vertical leap. You still get killed and watch the kill cam and it's not even close to what you seen on your screen. You don't even make it around the corner but you're dead. In kill cam you were around the corner tying your shoes when you were shot. You can put 50 rounds into a sniper standing 5 feet from you and he still gets the shot off. People spawn behind you constantly for revenge kills. It's like we were thrown back into 2002. It is no different .

Campaign: Pretty sold and quite enjoyable, this years campaign was definitely not a miss and worth the play.

Zombies: The best zombies experience we've had for a while. The new features help zombies be more fun and exciting, keeping it engaging for the players for longer.

Multiplayer: This is where it goes downhill, the multiplayer is HORRIBLE. Mainly the SBMM. its extremely strong and absolutely discourages anyone with any remote skill to play the game. It seems like Activison catered this game to low skill level players as, honestly only they will be enjoying this multiplayer. The amount of stuff that blatantly caters to new players a joke and makes veteran players feel completely neglected. The game was released in an unfinished state, clear as day, with only 8 maps, below standard animations and just honestly head scratch gameplay decision with lots of 'filler' that this game launched with. The bullet Reg is also a joke, especially for m/k, and that's not me saying console have it better. you can be playing on pc with a controller plugged in and have noticeably better hit Reg then using a m/k. which is beyond my understanding now they've managed to do that.
Honestly, i blame bullet velocity. no one asked for bullet velocity to be in a COD multiplayer. its even in zombies for god sake. i understand it in blackout/warzone but not in casual game mods, whoever made that decision should be fired.

Its at the point where i don't even feel the game needs a lot of quality of life improvements, some of the mechanics need straight up reworking!.

The score streak system is now equivalent to the participation medal, anyone can get the highest score streak, you're progression doesn't reset upon death. This makes them meaningless in terms of difficulty and self pride to achieve. Clearly made for new players to feel like their doing great. False sense of achievement (which is a common theme)

Assist count towards eliminations?? again, blatantly just there for lower skilled players to feel like their doing better then what their really are, PLUS, the average K/D in this game is BELOW 2.0....and that's with assists counts towards eliminations!!! (because of SBMM)

Lobbies get automatically changed after each match just so you're forced into the SBMM algorithm which is probably why it feels so strong in this game compared to others. and also so little Timmy doesn't have to constantly play against better players or 'abusive' players because leaving to find a new lobby manually was clearly to much effort?

Combat records are gone, or might as well be. there's no more leader boards to see how good players are in your lobby, you cant even click on a players to see their combat record to see how good they are. Everything to do with showing a players skill has been removed. One of the things about being a good COD players is showing off your K/D, I even remember in b02 trying to get and getting a 500spm to show off in leader boards. its all gone. There's no incentive to be a good player, this game fully only caters to new lower skill level players. This just takes away the pride of being a better then average player.

There are probably many more examples but to sum up; if you're a COD player with ANY sort of skill, do not buy this game. This game might as well be pushing people for take time to play it to become good. Its made for noobs, it caters towards noobs, unless you're a noob, simple don't buy it.

There are some strange class options also with no option of claymores or betty's on lethal but instead being a field upgrade which makes them unusable until you have earned them. Then there's the footsteps in the game which are so loud everyone must be wearing lead boots which means you have to use ninja or be heard from outer space.

Due to the skill based matchmaking the online multiplayer is almost unplayable. It's impossible to play easy rounds and just chill - always a sweat with players, who are better than you. The graphics aren't that good and the ps4 pro can't load the textures fast enough so there's a massive pop-in effect of objects (poorly optimised to the hardware) These games get worse from year to year.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War ends up mirroring what the Call of Duty franchise offered last year, with some new additions that are also welcome, especially for long-term fans. While being set during a very intense period, the campaign ends up erring for its disappointing longevity, even though the value of repetition is intrinsic to it. Zombies are back in style, while multiplayer gains an excellent new mode, but here it errs again for the arsenal's lack of variety.

While Cold War is a part of a series I would have said that I loved, I can’t fully embrace it now knowing that this work is trucking in harmful stereotypes via patriotic-tinged gameplay. A decent CoD multiplayer experience will likely emerge from the currently-underwhelming Cold War, but I’m going to seriously consider whether that gameplay is worth enduring (and supporting) the rest.
