Great shooter 8 chatacters each with 4 defensive and offensive attack, mean some great experimentation and variety. Gameplay is fast a hectic but never unfair. Characters themselves range from bad arses to sexy af. Something here for every one besides those twitter dwelling man/karens that get offended by sexy chatacters.

The game play and controls here are perfect, the only issue is that the game stutters (frame rate drops) during the special mission stages even on PS4 pro but nothing serious, arcade runs smoothly. Caladrius blaze is very challenging if you have no experience in this genre, I don't like anime but I love crazy Japanese shmups and I wish we had more of them on PlayStation .

The game is a bullet hell shooter and it's hard to master, but the continues are unlimited. It features unique characters and ships, each has their own three weapons for attack, support and defensive use. The soundtrack is good but the 3d graphics can look a bit rough at times. I got it on sale, had a few hours of fun and come back to it every once in a while.

If you're looking for a bullet-hell vertical flying true arcade style shooter that looks exactly like the cave arcade shooters always wanted to look like, go for it!
Graphics, sound and music are just awesome.
There are three game modes that add some stages and mission and there are lots of characters to play as.
The game is fairly short and there are unlimited continues - which I really like.

a somewhat decent bullet hell game...very short...takes less than an hour to beat though.

Raiden-style vertical schmup that's got plenty of characters and ships but they all play pretty much the same and the different weapon systems are largely redundant because you have to sacrifice your smart bombs to use them. The juvenile "shame breaks" are also cringeworthy to anyone other than adolescent boys, but it's got nice visuals and is otherwise inoffensive. It will attract the retro veterans, with a void they need to fill for shoot them ups, but to the general gamer, do not bother with this game while it is full price.

Caladrius Blaze is a top class shoot ’em up that feels like an authentic arcade title but with console quality visuals. With plenty of options, it caters for the pro players but also us regular folk too.

Caladrius Blaze has good core mechanics which offers some classic shmup gameplay. The shame breaks are a disappointing distraction at best and the game’s campaign is a little short. However, in terms of action this is a pretty solid shmup and should please most fans of the genre.
